Battle Through The Underworld, Again, With The Full Launch Of Hades II
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of September 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Hades Get ready to fully head back into Hades with the full launch version of Hades II coming very soon It only took a little bit of time, but it seems Chronos has finally seen it fit to bring the full version of Hades II out to us all. Well, more than Supergiant Games has been working hard to get the game to a full release state from the Early Access going on and is now ready to take us further into the Underworld. All so we can break free of that and bring Chronos down a peg or two. Maybe that is why we have the announcement now, but we will still have more time to wait until September 25th when Hades II will fully launch on the PC, Switch, and Switch 2. Read More...

Eat The Rich A new deception game, Eat The Rich, is out there for Early Access so we can all see why we should Eat The Rich It is a fun sentiment to have out there, and now we have access to a video game that is all about the phrase Eat The Rich. Okay, not specifically as society might be looking at it right now, but in the new deception title that Maccima Games and Monstronauts have been putting together on the PC. All in the Early Access form of things in the current state. A nice way to get the game out there, and see if we all truly want to Eat The Rich. Read More...

Winnie-The-Pooh Winnie-The-Pooh is coming back into the horror genre, again, with the recently announced Winnie-The-Pooh: Black Honey We are never going to be safe, it seems, from all of the quick runs at IPs that have hit the public domain, as now we have the announcement for Winnie-The-Pooh: Black Honey. by Juliet Meyer [ Tuesday, 9th of September 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Voidling Go behind the scenes with Voidling Bound, and see how the splicing system is going to work for our Voidlings It is time to mix things up in the world of Voidling Bound, and take a look at how things will be spliced together in the game. That will be part of the core of the game, and now we have Hatchery Games here to show off how the feature will function in the game when it lands on the PC. They are combining a few titles and genres for Voidling Bound, so it makes sense that we will have a robust way to do the same within the game. War Mechanic Reintroduces Us All To The Upcoming Gameplay Of War
by Jana Lass [ Tuesday, 9th of September 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
War Mechanic Official gameplay for War Mechanic is out there to give the world a look at how War Mechanic will handle before Early Access It looks like it is time to gear up once more for a look at how war never changes with War Mechanic. Some might have thought I was leaning toward a different IP with the "war never changes" bit, but this is for the upcoming title from Chronospace on the PC, which will do pretty much what the title dictates it will do. Have us all playing as a War Mechanic. A title that was announced a while ago, but has now undergone a bit of an overhaul to things, as well as the gameplay. Read More...

New Cyberpunk Mysteries Are Unlocked With The Announcement For Dreadcore: Locked Unit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of September 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Dreadcore Head out into the world with Dreadcore, and a new cyberpunk horror with the announcement we have for Dreadcore: Locked Unit It feels oddly fitting that we have had a few dystopian and cyberpunk-style horror games announced here, and now we go out there with Dreadcore: Locked Unit. A new one on the way from a lone developer that is going to lean into some different themes than we have had as of late when looking at the genre. Themes like transhumanism and false freedom, to name a few, which weirdly do feel on point for the current climate out there. All so we can see more of the Dreadcore line out there and have a new and dark experience on our PC when it does come out there. Read More...

KARMA: The Dark World Is Launching The Experience On The Xbox Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of September 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
KARMA The Xbox version of KARMA: The Dark World is launching this week, and we have a little look at the new bits coming for KARMA The slow roll is almost done here for KARMA: The Dark World, with the Xbox Series X|S version of the game launching and joining the PS5 and PC versions out there. It's been a while, but we are finally here. Well, more than that, we will be there on September 10th when the game goes live out there for all of you who want to give the game a go and only play on that console. It is terrible that this is still a thing out there, but I am guessing that they just could not get the code for KARMA: The Dark World to work across the board before needing to get that money rolling in. by Jana Lass [ Friday, 5th of September 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Directive 8020 Take a walk around the setting of Directive 8020 as it was all shown off during Gamescom, and see why we need to wait longer for Directive 8020 Even though Gamescom has come and gone for this year, we are still getting some new looks at things that went down during the event. Specifically, some look at things that we would only have had a chance to experience if we were on-site, with the latest for Directive 8020. We do need something to help take away the sting that Supermassive Games had to push the release out to 2026. Not only that, but also a solid look at some of the other bits that were behind the scenes for Directive 8020, and what they tried to dazzle the crowds with out there. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of August 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week What a week this was here for us, as we had so many things to cover that were not video games in general. Even as we started to wrap up everything for Gamescom, that came out, too. The bigger bit is the podcast and review that we had for the Toxic Avenger, which hits theaters as you are reading this. We also had a bit of fun looking at Return To Silent Hill, which does still fall into the video games realm, but is still a film we are excited for. Read More...
