We all knew that The Wolf Among Us Remastered was on the way to us, but many of us thought we might have to wait until the next season of the story was going to be ready for us before we would get to see this remaster. That does not look as if it is going to be the case, as Telltale is getting the game ready for us sooner than we could have thought. At least, this is all based on what they were willing to give us out of gamescom this year. The first big bit of news for The Wolf Among Us Remastered is that it will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC on October 29th. That is not where it is all going to end, though, as we have a new mode that we will get to enjoy when playing this version of the game.
The release date for The Wolf Among Us Remastered is awesome and all, and we are all excited to get to play through the story once more, but for those who want a new experience, this release is coming with a new mode to enjoy. A Noir Mode is getting added into the game, and when it is activated, it will turn the whole experience into the Black And White visuals that the genre is known for. Not a massive addition to it all, but a new way to experience The Wolf Among Us. Especially since we will be able to activate it on the fly as we go through the game. I am not sure why we would want to shift in and out of the mode as we go, but at least we are not going to be locked in if we do not want to be. Maybe that will be so we can find clues in the game a little easier, but still watch the main story flow out there without the color. That would be the only reason I could think about for shifting between all of the visuals. Have a little look and see what will be here in a couple of months now.
