by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 18th of January 2025 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, this was certainly a solid week in video games and all of the interactive media out there. The big thing being that the Nintendo Switch 2 was shown to the world officially and then we have a whole lot for the Until Dawn movie that is on the way in a few months. In addition to all of that, We had another fun look at the upcoming Virtua Fighter title out of CES 2025 along with a few new video games in the Backrooms line of things. All from different developers and to give us all different looks into the horror IP out there. Read More...

Enter A Whole New & Eerie World With The Announcement Of Backrooms Level X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of January 2025 - 10:00 PM ]
Backrooms Head even deeper into the Backrooms with the announcement that we have for the Backrooms Level X that is on the way Get ready to head even deeper into the weirdness out there with the announcement for Backrooms Level X. This is another take on the IP and strange world of the Creepypasta horror out there on the PC. This one puts us back into a first-person mode to go further into the endless labyrinth of the Backrooms and see what else might have been recorded out there along the way. Something that would be easier to do if we were dropped into this labyrinth on our own, but instead, it looks like the other horrors we have seen will be stalking us too. Read More...

Until Dawn’s Movie Is Taking Things Into A Very Different Direction
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of January 2025 - 08:00 PM ]
Until Dawn The first trailer for the Until Dawn movie is here and it looks like it is deviating from Until Dawn quite a bit We have had our first look at the Until Dawn movie and now we have the full trailer to look at and see how it is going to adapt the events of the video game for the IP. It is something that Supermassive Games brought to life for us and spawned their ongoing line of video games out there, so this should be a smash hit and an easy thing to do for the broader audiences. Right? Well, that was the question we and many had when the Until Dawn movie was announced and then after having a quick look at things. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of January 2025 - 08:00 PM ]
Fragmented Minds The release date for SCP: Fragmented Minds in Early Access is set and we have a little tease of chapter one for SCP: Fragmented Minds If you were looking to get in on the horrors of SCP: Fragmented Minds a bit earlier than expected, then know that you can jump in on January 27th on the PC. Not in a full way, as HST Game Studios is only bringing us all an Early Access for the game on that date, but it is still something to get us all going and ready for the IP to flesh things out a bit more. Even if it will only be the first chapter of SCP: Fragmented Minds that will be dropping to give us all a taste of the game and test out this new and unique survival horror game. Read More...

The House Of The Dead 2: Remake Is On The Way To Give Us More Rail-Shooter Fun
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of January 2025 - 08:00 PM ]
House Of The Dead Another bit of House Of The Dead fun is on the way back to us all with the announcement for The House Of The Dead 2: Remake It looks like we all loved the first remake that was out there that now we have The House Of The Dead 2: Remake on the way to us all now. I mean, Megapixel Studio and Forever Entertainment did an amazing job bringing us the previous remake to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC that it would make sense for them to bring the next one back to us all. Even if we do need to wait until the Spring of this year to see how The House Of The Dead saga continues in our homes. Those of us who were able to play the originals in arcades might know how it all goes, but that was half a century ago, so it would be understandable if we all forgot some of that along the way. This Week In Video Games 1/6/25 — 1/10/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 11th of January 2025 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week What a fun way to start the year off here even if it was a little slow on the side of video games and updates in general. It was the week of CES 2025, so that is a little more on our side of things as Marvel Rivals and Toxic Crusaders did start us off with some fun announcements. All so we could better experience what the convention had to show us for the Hyperkin Competitor and The Last Of Us experiences out there. Not to mention an "Aggrogamer After Dark" update for some video games that we are going to have to figure out how we can share with you all. Read More...

Carmen Sandiego Heads Out Into The World Very Soon On Many Platforms
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of January 2025 - 06:00 PM ]
Carmen Sandiego The release dates for Carmen Sandiego are now set down for us so we can head back into the hunt for Carmen Sandiego again It was announced not too long ago that we would be seeing another Carmen Sandiego title back in the mix of things on the PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch, PC, and various mobile devices via Netflix Games. There was a bit of a mixed reception at the time, but that did not stop Gameloft and HarperCollins Productions from pushing forward and building the game out further for us all to get excited about. It is a return to form with the thief in the world and I, for one, was excited to see how it will be us playing as Carmen Sandiego in the game and not specifically hunting her down again. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of January 2025 - 08:00 PM ]
Marvel Rivals Season one of Marvel Rivals is almost here with some new characters and villains on the way to Marvel Rivals very soon Now that we have had a good amount of time to stew in what Marvel Rivals had to offer in Season 0 of its lifecycle, we are here to see the official release of Season 1 out there. The first full season of new content to join the game as NetEase Games has promised and to see if it will have the staying power on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC as it did over the holidays. Given that this will further expand some of the story in Marvel Rivals, that will be fun. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/23/24 — 12/27/24
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 28th of December 2024 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week As we though, this has been a rather short and slow week for all of our video games out there. We still had a few fun and new announcements, but a good portion of it all was catching up on things like the Ōkami sequel that is on the way, a look at the next thing for Dying Light, new modes for Hollowbody, and getting Think As Thieves out there in the mix. Not a week full of video games, sure, but one that had a whole lot for us to look at even with all of the holidays that have been going down. If only there was a good way to keep things going and the lights on better without needing to do all of the hard work when we should be having some happy times. Read More...

That is still slated for 2025, but as mentioned, we can get a small slice of the game right now to see just what kind of adventure Ayasa will be taking us all along.
