There Is A Wealth Of New Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Information
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of September 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Another gameplay demo for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has revealed a few more gameplay mechanics as well as insight into new characters Fortunately for everyone who wanted to see more gameplay for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain outside of the similar demos from E3 and Gamescom, we are in luck as we have a fresh new look from the TGS. Unfortunately it is all in Japanese so unless you can speak or read the language you are going to have to just go on all of the new and pretty visuals that Kojima showed off for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Don't worry too much as all of it makes perfect sense and you are only really missing out on the dialog for the scenes and slight commentary provided. Read More...

Here Is How Multiplayer Works In Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Konami and Kojima Productions have finally brought us more on the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain multiplayer aspect shown at E3 this year Last week at Gamescom we were shown a bit on how we can keep replaying Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain after all was said and done the first time. In a nutshell there are many different ways to tackle the missions and each should give us a bit more time with the game after we beat The Phantom Pain proper. But back at E3 there was a bit of a showing of multiplayer which would be the true way to keep gamers addicted to Kojima's latest title wouldn't it. Well, we have more on all of that as of now and we are here to share. Read More...

If You Haven't Had A Chance To See/Play P.T. Here's What It Is About
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
During Sony's press event at Gamescom 2014 a new IP called P.T. was announced but it was more a tease for Silent Hills Talk about a thrilling and scary title here with P.T. from 7780s Studio. Or as we should all better know it now as Playable Teaser from Kojima Productions. Or as we should all know it even better as Silent Hills from said studio with Guillermo del Toro and Norman Reedus attached to it as well. Although at its core it is one of the best ways to announce a new title coming to the PS4 from all those great minds and talent. If you have yet to play through the P. Read More...

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's Realism 'Fools' New Studio
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of July 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A screenshot from the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain looked real enough to be used for real news This news report has since been updated but it feels more like a PR spin than truly admitting that they screwed up and used an image from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to shock people into believing their propaganda or at least listen to what they were saying. "News" outlet RT and show SophieCo were recently covering a story on children soldiers and were speaking to a former child soldier when the camera panned by and showed a scene from the next Kojima game. Like I said, it has since been updated to state that they knew it was from a video game but I have a feeling that is just to save face as something like this could ruin what the discussion was actually about. Do You Want To See What Was Shown Off For The Phantom Pain At E3?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of June 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Early on the 19th of June, Konami and Hideo Kojima showed off the closed doors demo for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Good news for all of you who didn't want to take the time to read through my Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain impressions from E3. It looks like Konami and Kojima wanted to cater to all of you who don't have the time to read through some heartfelt words letting you know what I saw for the game. They have just released the 30+ minute demo that was shown at E3 that many never had a chance to even see. Good news for you but bad for me as my words are falling on blind eyes now. Read More...

E3 2014 Impressions: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of June 2014 - 09:20 PM ]
While at E3 I got to see Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain in a more intimate setting than just the trailer. Here's my take on it All of the teases and short shows of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain can all be put aside now as we were given a new and nice look at the game and features that have yet to be announced or shown in a public form. It also kind of puts the whole demo thing for Ground Zeroes to the side as with what was shown here at E3 was considerably more and with a demo you should get all of the game's mechanics and features. Yes the core running, stealth, and shooting are all the same but here is what we didn't get to play before but will once The Phantom Pain launches. Read More...

Here Is A Short Tease Of What Will Be Shown At E3 For Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of June 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Hideo Kojima gives us a minute and a half tease of what we will be seeing for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain out of E3 next week There has been no shortage of teases that we would be getting a small look at Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain before E3. Those have only been followed by the news of how big and "hard to watch" the actual gameplay footage at E3 will actually be. As a man of his word, Hideo Kojima has given us just that with the following teaser video showing nothing but gameplay for The Phantom Pain. The biggest thing to take away here is that we will be back to hiding in cardboard boxes again. Read More...

Could We Be Seeing A Remake Of The Original Metal Gear Games?
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 28th of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
An interview question gets Hideo Kojima talking about remakes of the early Metal Gear franchise. In a recent interview on Twitch Hideo Kojima talked for a whole hour. Some stuff we already knew but a fan question made the future seem even brighter. While it would probably be very far off into the future it still makes my heart beat with glee. The only hope we have is that Kojima said he would like to remake the first two Metal Gear games. He also said when asked about DLC for Ground Zeroes that it would only push The Phantom Pain back further. Read More...

Review — Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Is it just an expensive demo or a real fun game? Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has been labeled as one large demo and prologue to The Phantom Pain. In fact there have been gameplay sessions of the game that show it can be completed in a little over seven minutes. The game is also not the same price as a normal retail title but it is still $30 but is it worth the price of admission to Metal Gear Solid V? Let's dig in and see if you should drop the cash and time. Read More...

How Fast Can You Beat Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was always claimed to be short. But ten minutes short? Check it out. There has been no big secret that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is a short game. The length lent itself to the lower price for the game as well as the lack of a platinum trophy in the end game. That said, would you believe that it can be beaten in about ten minutes? Yes, I said ten minutes. Read More...

Review: Castlevania Lords Of Shadow 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Castlevania Lords Of Shadow 2. This is the supposed finale to this iteration of the franchise but does it end on a high note? It is been a long time coming but I finally got to play Castlevania Lords Of Shadow 2 in all of its glory and non-demo version. I've been a bit worried about the visuals of the game as well as the controls since I first laid hands on the first build. You can imagine that I wanted to put this to the test and see if this would be the way that Mercury Steam wanted to end the Lords of Shadow story. Let's bite into this review already and see if the franchise has been bled dry or if there is still a bit of immortality left. Read More...
