Not only do we have some solid titles releasing like Resident Evil 7 and some new Early Access and betas with Conan Exiles and For Honor respectfully, but it looks like the ball has begun to roll on many other of those video games that we've been waiting to hear more about. Injustice 2 A new story trailer for Injustice 2 has dropped and it shows off the big bad of Injustice 2 as well as quite a few new characters to join the fight We spoke of this yesterday and now we are here with a new look at Injustice 2 and confirmation that Darkseid will be a pre-order bonus mixed in there. What we didn't speak on was the fact that we would be seeing a new story trailer for the game from NetherRealm Studios and many new characters being added into the roster; even though we are still waiting for character breakdowns now. With all of that though, we now know that Injustice 2 is going to ride on from where Injustice left off and then throw in a whole lot of curve-balls to shake up not only the game but the world. Injustice 2 It's been spotted via the Injustice 2 pre-order page that Darkseid will be a playable DLC character for Injustice 2 at launch Last week we got official word that Injustice 2 would be hitting the PS4 and Xbox One on May 16th here. Then we ended the week with a nice little tease from NetherRealm Studios that we would be getting another big reveal this week as well. But before all of that, it looks like we have another "leak" of sorts as the pre-order page for Injustice 2 was spotted listing out another character coming to the game via some day-one DLC for those who pre-order the game. There was something for everyone this week; even though some of the news was a sad note for a huge portion of gamers out there. Injustice 2 The Injustice 2 release date rumors have been put to rest as Injustice 2 now has an official release date for the Americas It looks like all of those rumors for Injustice 2 releasing on March 28th have been put to rest. Not only has NetherRealm Studios' game director stepped out to state that the dates listed online were false, but he went one step further and gave us all the actual date; something that we wish would happen every time a huge rumor crops up. None the less though, it looks like Injustice 2 will be hitting the PS4 and Xbox One on May 16th of this year. Injustice 2 A new breakdown video for Injustice 2 has been released and this one showcases Injustice 2's version of Supergirl in action and explains a bit of her moves & combos It's been a while since we had something new to see for Injustice 2 and I know I was hoping that we would have seen the roster expanded a bit more by now. Injustice 2 At SDCC Injustice 2 received two more characters into the mix with a classic character and a new one just for Injustice 2 fitting into the story Given that SDCC is all about the comic books, or at least should be, it makes it the fitting place to see two more characters added to the roster of Injustice 2. Injustice 2 While at E3 I was able to see Injustice 2 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Injustice 2 It was "leaked" and then we got some gameplay to look at just before E3 but I was able to sit down and actually have a good look at Injustice 2 on the show floor. It wasn't anything playable sadly but it was gameplay where NetherRealm Studios went into all the ins and outs of the updates and changes that will be coming. Not only that but we had a look at a few of the new characters coming to Injustice 2 here when it launches next year for the PS4 and Xbox One. We had a few confirmations like Watch Dogs 2 and Injustice 2 coming for E3 next week and we also had some great updates to other titles like XCOM 2 and Call Of Cthulu. This is also just the tip of the ice berg that will be the reveals and updates for video games though as we will be flushed with many more here in short order. As it should come as no surprise, Lex Luthor has joined the roster for NetherRealm's upcoming Injustice: Gods Among Us. Why would he not have been in the game with his Superman/Meta-human hate speech? It makes sense. But either way, with the below trailer he has been officially added to the "Gods Among Us."
