Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This certainly was one week of video games out there to help distract us all from the horrors of the real world once again. Not only did we get to see new horrors like Finding Frankie and Amber Alert get some highlights, but we also were able to see something for Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 and the full announcement for the Nintendo Switch 2 in the mix of all of these video games out there. Even if it does look and sound like many are going to have to wait longer for that console to finally launch out there. South Of Midnight The launch for South Of Midnight is almost here and we have one more look at South Of Midnight just ahead of all of that It is time to head into the Deep South out there and see more of the mythologies that do not normally get highlighted, with the launch for South Of Midnight. This is that little title that Compulsion Games has been working on for the Xbox Series X|S and PC with a fun take on the animation and look of it all on top of the new mythologies some of us will get to explore. The development is done and those who picked up the more deluxe version of the game can be playing it right now, with the rest waiting until April 8th to fully dive into what South Of Midnight. Quite A Ride A new horror title, Quite A Ride, is on the way to us all with Quite A Ride offering up a new twist for a horror game It is always fun to see when developers try to offer up fun and new twists to genres and here we go with another shake up to the horror space with Quite A Ride. A new PC title is on the way from Goodwin Games that will have us riding on our own little bike through a dark and strange time in the world. One that could have us all in the clutches of new terrors out there is we stop riding at all. That does seem to make Quite A Ride more of a bike riding simulation than the normal walking simulation we have out there. Read More...

Resident Evil Another of the Resident Evil titles is on the iOS now with the launch of Resident Evil 3 for the zed heads out there There is no slowing down in the zombie content out there for those on the iOS devices as it looks as if Resident Evil 3 is now out there for all you Apple fans to enjoy. This would also be the remake version of the game that Capcom put out not too long ago and not just a port of the original version from so very long ago. Midnight Murder Club The Midnight Murder Club is finally open up with the Early Access for Midnight Murder Club launching out there for the world Grab your gun, your flashlight, and five different friends so we can all head into the darkness of Midnight Murder Club. At least as it is in the Early Access form of the game currently. Velan Studios has finally got their new title out there on the PS5 and PC to let us see just how this deadly game of hide and seek will actually function out there on the PS5 and PC. Side Quest The spin-off series from Mythic Quest, Side Quest, is dropping out there very soon for us all to pick up yet another Side Quest Just as the fourth season of Mythic Quest is coming to an end, it looks as if things are going to carry on a bit more with Side Quest. This would be the spin-off show that was in the works from Ubisoft and Apple TV+ to further capitalize on the popularity of the show while giving more of the cast and crew ways to flex their talents a bit more. Styx Styx is sneaking his way back into our lives with the reveal we have for the upcoming Styx: Blades Of Greed What a shocking turn of events as it looks like a sleeper hit from before is coming back with the reveal for Styx: Blades Of Greed. This will be the third installment into the IP that Cyanide Studios offered up to the world but with Nacon making sure it fully comes to market this time. All so we can see where the story of Styx, our favorite goblin thief, goes and raises some of the stakes too. The team over at Velan Studios has learned a whole lot from that and many other things along the way in the cycle of the development. Metal Gear Solid Metal Gear Solid fans now have a release date to mark down for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater It feels like it has been a long time coming, but we finally have a release date for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater and it will be in 2025. It feels like this was a secret that Konami was keeping under wraps for a while now, but on August 28th, we will finally get to see how well this game has been updated to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It is looking more and more like a shot-for-shot remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 than any kind of reimagining of the source material, but maybe I was hoping for too much from the start.
