by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of January 2009 - 05:58 PM ]
Finally Some Straight Answers So last week I brought the news about a San Disk that was made for Rock Band 2 on the Wii. Check it here. It raised some questions about the need to have it and if you had to actually buy this one to use it to get some great DLC for the Wii version of the game. Well after trying to track someone down at CES that knew the answers, I finally got them near the end of the show on Sunday. Yes 4 days of tracking for you guys. I hope you appreciate it. New Rock Band DLC
by Cameron [ Monday, 1st of December 2008 - 12:50 AM ]
Turns out Harmonix is giving us Nine new songs before the week is out. There are various singles from various bands (Unfortunatly Two are from the Nickelodeon band The Naked Brothers). These songs apparentley cast a wide net over different ages, genres, language, demographic and pricing structure. Along with the obligatory "paid for" tracks from aritsts like Children of Bodom, Finley,Platero y Tu, Squeeze, Tokio Hotel and the All-American Rejects there is a free track from Miranda Cosgrove called "Headphones On". These songs will be available for 89 Microsoft points or USD$0.99 on the PlayStation Network for one month. Read More...

Challenging BioShock
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of November 2008 - 10:10 PM ]
BioShock PS3 DLC Surfaces Tomorrow So tomorrow, November 20th, those of us that have picked up the PS3 version of BioShock are getting a nice little treat. Exclusive added content for the game on the PSN. The add on is listed below. But there is one thing I find a little off, at least for me, the price point for PS3 users to get this new content. While PS3 BioShock owners will get access to the stuff that was given away to PC and XBox players, these 3 new challenge rooms come for a $10 fee. Might not sound too high, but it is only three new little sections for the game. Read More...

Soul Calibur IV DLC
by Jesse [ Friday, 24th of October 2008 - 04:23 AM ]
This week the rumors have finally come to pass. Both Darth Vader and Yoda who were originally released as “console exclusive characters” have been made available for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Sadly the price seems a little steep as Vader who first made his appearance on the PS3 is know downloadable on the 360 for the cost of 400 Microsoft points (or $5.00) and Yoda who appeared on the 360 can be downloaded off the PlayStation Store for the price of $4.99. Dead Space Has Gone Gold So they announced today that Dead Space has gone gold. No surprise there with the release date no more than two weeks away. And that they have bumped the release date forward twice now. So like I said, no big surprise with that announcement, but there is a cool little extra that they are offering up for those people who purchase and play the game before the original release date they posted. See below, there is some cool exclusive downloadable outfits for the game. Dependable on the system you get the game on. Read More...

PSN Releases
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of July 2008 - 09:16 PM ]
For 7/10/2008 So there is a huge list of new things this week if you are a PS3 owner. And live in the US. I hate seeing that Europe gets screwed over almost every week when it comes time for new stuff. Makes me feel a little bad. But if you guys over there are a little crafty and got a US account on your system, I totally say check out the Siren stuff. I have yet to download it, but from the videos I have seen online, it looks to be amazing. And then there are the new RHCP songs for Rock Band. Read More...

Screw The Console Wars...
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 30th of June 2008 - 07:55 PM ]
We Got Wars For Music Simulation Games So I thought I would do another fun edition of "Rock Band Wrap Up"™. Seeing as there are plenty of things to bring up today. One of them kind of major. So with no further gilding the lilly. Rock Band II Yes, it has been officially announced. No shocker there. Well outside of the fact that it is due out in September, for the XBox. Most likely October or November for the other platforms. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of May 2008 - 06:08 PM ]
Rock Band DLC So as I've done in the past, I'm here to give ya the down low or down load on the new Rock Band DLC. I'm kind of late on this weeks, at least for those who have the XBox version of the game. But hey, at least you can see what you are getting yourself into for this week with the videos I found for ya. But the other one is the Early News of next weeks Album download. This week I am really stoked. Read More...

Smashing More Pumpkins In Games
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of April 2008 - 08:01 PM ]
Rock Band DLC For 4/29/08 Not too huge of a thing going on as far as the DLC for Rock Band this week. Not too keen on the two Mother Hips songs that are coming out. They just don't sound like they will really be all that fun to play. Maybe it is just me, but meh. So kind of a slow one. But then there is one that I will most likely be getting this week. One of my favorite Smashing Pumpkin songs will be out this week too. Still waiting on some good Slipknot or Rammstein to make it on the lists for this game, or maybe even Free Bird as well. Rockin' Priest
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of April 2008 - 05:40 PM ]
Judas Priest Rock Band DLC Ok, so maybe it's just me, but I am stoked about this for two reasons. First, it's Judas Priest on Rock Band. How awesome will this be? Anyone? Or is it really just me? I know it isn't one of the harder core or more mainstream that people may be wanting, but it is something awesome. The second. This will be their first foray into releasing full albums on the game. Some More Rock PWNage
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of April 2008 - 05:12 PM ]
Rocking DLC Release For This Week Ok, so not too big of news, but here's some more stuff for download this week for Rock Band. This is mainly for the XBox, until the PSN is back up on Thursday. Then you get these and also the ones listed here and here. Wish there was more to talk about, but not much more than the releases of this. Well other than the little blurb and bustle going around about the insane price of the European price of the game. I fell bad for the PR guys at Harmonix just for the fact that they have to defend why they are saying that it is needed to be ass expensive. Read More...
