Smashing More Pumpkins In Games
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of April 2008 - 08:01 PM ]
Rock Band DLC For 4/29/08 Not too huge of a thing going on as far as the DLC for Rock Band this week. Not too keen on the two Mother Hips songs that are coming out. They just don't sound like they will really be all that fun to play. Maybe it is just me, but meh. So kind of a slow one. But then there is one that I will most likely be getting this week. One of my favorite Smashing Pumpkin songs will be out this week too. Still waiting on some good Slipknot or Rammstein to make it on the lists for this game, or maybe even Free Bird as well. Rockin' Priest
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of April 2008 - 05:40 PM ]
Judas Priest Rock Band DLC Ok, so maybe it's just me, but I am stoked about this for two reasons. First, it's Judas Priest on Rock Band. How awesome will this be? Anyone? Or is it really just me? I know it isn't one of the harder core or more mainstream that people may be wanting, but it is something awesome. The second. This will be their first foray into releasing full albums on the game. Some More Rock PWNage
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of April 2008 - 05:12 PM ]
Rocking DLC Release For This Week Ok, so not too big of news, but here's some more stuff for download this week for Rock Band. This is mainly for the XBox, until the PSN is back up on Thursday. Then you get these and also the ones listed here and here. Wish there was more to talk about, but not much more than the releases of this. Well other than the little blurb and bustle going around about the insane price of the European price of the game. I fell bad for the PR guys at Harmonix just for the fact that they have to defend why they are saying that it is needed to be ass expensive. Read More...

Rockin' PWNAGE
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of April 2008 - 04:50 PM ]
More Rock Band News So I got a few things for all you Rockers from the US to Europe. Seems like EA drops all the info at the same time, so this will have a few Newiscles (Yes I know that's not the name. :)) here. First EA announced the pricing that the have planned for the European version of the game. It kind of sucks too. First, on May 23rd the game will only be dropped on the XBox with now solid dates for the Playstation or Wii versions. Read More...

Boston Six Packer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of March 2008 - 08:34 PM ]
Boston Rock Band DLC So I like being the barer of fun news. That and I like giving you all the fun new stuff I run across. And it looks like Harmonix posted a little earlier than they usually do, the new downloads for next week. Much like the Grateful Dead pack, except it is Boston this time around. Some of the songs sound like will pretty fun on guitar. Not as brutal as Thrasher, but just another good 6 to add to the already large list of songs that are available on Rock Band. Read More...

It's Death Metal Week!
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of March 2008 - 08:10 PM ]
New Rock Band DLC For you Rock Band fans out there. Here is the new content due out this week. Days depend on the system you are playing on of course. But I am actually thrilled to see the list. Well more thrilled to hear the songs. First time I have heard them, but they sound like they will be brutal for the game. I am also glad to see that Harmonix is also adding in a few harder tracks to the game list. It still is not Still Alive, that was shown at the GDC, but still. Read More...

Free Dropkick Murphys on GHIII So, if you have no bar hopping plans for National Drinking Day, grab some buddies and have an impromptu party at your place and celebrate with a pint and play some Guitar Hero. We Do Not Condone Underage Drinking. To add to the fun, Activision id hooking up the cut for GH players by giving them three FREE downloads for the game. Quite Nice of them. Still doesn't make up for their past actions, but you know what, it's a start. Read More...
