Resident Evil Revelations 2 Gets Delayed By A Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of January 2015 - 10:01 PM ]
Resident Evil Revelations 2's first episode has been delayed by one week for extra polish according to Capcom That's right. Resident Evil Revelations 2 has been delayed and according to what Capcom says it is all for "extra polish" to be placed on the game when it finally launches on the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. That pretty much means that the QA department over there found too many bugs that caused enough issue for a recall to be made. It's either that or there is some other huge conspiracy for the se7en day delay until February 24th for Resident Evil Revelations 2. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of January 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
New enemy details have been released for Resident Evil Revelations 2 from Capcom to better describe the horrors we will all be facing You've waited and now we have a bit more on all of those weird creatures we will be killing in Resident Evil Revelations 2's first episode in about a month's time. Okay, well maybe you weren't asking for it but that doesn't change the fact that we have some new details from Capcom to help cover those with the curious minds like Moira and Claire will obviously be having. What less could we be hoping for when it comes to Resident Evil Revelations 2 right? Weird looking things that are zombie-like but not enough to be called zombies. Read More...

Resident Evil Zero HD REmaster Could Be In The Pipes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Capcom may have accidentally leaked that Resident Evil Zero HD REmaster is in the works via the pre-order bonus for Resident Evil HD REmaster update If the image is correct then it looks like Resident Evil Zero HD REmaster may be the next title in the works from Capcom getting the full HD upgrade. This of course comes from an update to the pre-order page for Resident Evil HD REmaster where the developer/publisher wanted to show off the cool theme you can get for your PS4 if you pre-order before the January 13th 2015 release date in Japan. Make that date January 20th and you'll have the NA release date for those who were wondering. Any-who, some eagle eyed people who don't work for Capcom in Japan caught a small glimpse on the theme image that wasn't supposed to be released into the wild. Read More...

You Can Only Cross-Buy Resident Evil HD REmaster For A Short Time
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
If you want Resident Evil HD REmaster as a PS3/PS4 cross-buy you better act fast as there is a catch If you've been waffling over which system to pick up Resident Evil HD REmaster, the PS3 or PS4, then Capcom has something to help decide. If you pre-order the game right now you can get it for both systems for the price of just getting it once. Granted it makes sense that you would pick up Resident Evil HD REmaster on the PS4 due to the power that console adds but for those who may still be clinging to the PS3 or just got the PS4 upgrade for the holidays then you can get the game without worry of needing to re-purchase. Although that logic seems a bit flawed; whatever… Sadly this is only in the North American region for now so sorry to all those outside the region who wanted Resident Evil HD REmaster as a cross buy. This last weekend now marks the first bit of gameplay as well as the first public match of the game being played. This of course all took place during the 2014 Capcom Cup in San Francisco, CA last Saturday (12/13/14). This makes sense that these fans would get to see everything in action but lucky for everyone else that the event was streamed online so none of us had to miss out. Read More...

PlayStation Experience Hands On — Resident Evil Revelations 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
While At The PlayStation Experience I Was Able To See Resident Evil Revelations 2 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just A Trailer. It is coming out here in a few months but is it going to be worth our time and money We've had the release date for the first episode of Resident Evil Revelations 2 already but we've yet to have a whole lot of time to have hands on with how this new game will handle. Luckily it was on the floor of PlayStation Experience for all of us to give a quick run through of what we've seen time and time again already. I was lucky enough to wait to get a chance to see if Resident Evil Revelations 2 is going to be more like the current versions of the franchise or if it really does go back its root or more along with Resident Evil 4. Resident Evil Revelations 2 Is Not Just Escort Missions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Two new gameplay videos for Resident Evil Revelations 2 have been released showing off how each character can help and team up to survive Slowly but surely we are going to see all of the game mechanics for Resident Evil Revelations 2 through short little clips. In fact two more little clips have cropped up here from the Resident Evil YouTube account that show off how the "buddy cop" thing is going to work out for you. Well at least in the regards of making sure Moira and Claire don't die and how they can help each other to explore and stay alive from all of the Afflicted in Resident Evil Revelations 2. At least there is one thing that they seem to be not making and that is another escort game where your partner is pretty much useless when not directly controlling them. Read More...

See How Resident Evil Revelations 2 Is Going To Handle In Your Hands
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
Some new gameplay footage for Resident Evil Revelations 2 has surfaced and it shows off the menu system as well as the controller scheme We've seen Resident Evil Revelations 2 in action already but until now there was no context on how everything was being driven and controlled. It was easy to assume the basic for the game as Capcom doesn't deviate from the basics all too much. I mean why would you change Up on the Left Stick from moving the character forward and all that? It would make no sense unless you were making a title specifically to mess with the norm and let's face it, Resident Evil Revelations 2 is not a game that looks to be deviating from the norm but giving us more of the Resident Evil franchise in our faces. Have A Crisper Look At Resident Evil: Revelations 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
We have some new Resident Evil: Revelations 2 gameplay footage that shows off a bit more on the characters and enemies of the game We've had some early and odd looks at Resident Evil: Revelations 2 so far and if you are like me you want to see a bit more to be able to pass the proper judgment before shelling out the cash. While Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is set to be episodic in nature, there is nothing worse than getting partially involved only to see the game tank part way through. The only bonus is that you don't have to pay for the whole thing up front and can slowly pay for Resident Evil: Revelations 2 on the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, or PC as you wish. Read More...

Have Another Look At Resident Evil HD Remaster's Upgrades
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of October 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Another trailer for Resident Evil HD Remaster has been released and it shows off a couple of new features We had a longer look at Resident Evil HD Remaster earlier this week but now we have a new look at some of the features and extras that will be coming to the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, or PC port of the game. Unfortunately like the previous trailer everything is spoken in Japanese so if you don't speak/read the language you will have to go on just what you see. Since 90% of the information we get in our daily lives is all visual then you don't have to feel like you are missing out too much here. Read More...
