by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of February 2024 - 08:00 PM ]
darkwebSTREAMER A look at a new title, darkwebSTREAMER, is here to give us a different 90s horror story as we become a darkwebSTREAMER The dark trope of the horrors of the internet are shining back through with a new title on the way in the form of darkwebSTREAMER. A new PC title that, as the name suggests, puts us onto the "dark web" for the reasons that you can assume, but with a darker twist. That darker twist being that we are doing all of this weird web stuff in the '90s and also in a haunted apartment. All as we try to become an occult streamer during a time when streaming video was the worst. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. South Park: Snow Day Shows Off How We Will Shine Out With Customization
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of February 2024 - 06:00 PM ]
South Park One more look at South Park: Snow Day is here to show off the Switch version and how our South Park character will come to life With March 26th quickly coming up here, we all need more reasons to look at South Park: Snow Day and get ready to give it all a try. It is still a little weird to me that we are going 3D with this game but I am sure that Question Games has a good reason for that or THQ Nordic would not have been onboard. All of that aside, there is a nice little look at South Park: Snow Day as it gears up for its launch on the Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A look that shows us more of the character customization we will have in the game when March 26th does roll on up. Read More...

The launch of Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden and Mario Vs. Donkey Kong taking some forefront here and others like Alone In The Dark just building up to the impending release. Then there was our review for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League that will hopefully shine a bit of light on video games like it moving forward. At the very least, help you to know if you should pick the game up or leave it sitting on the gaming shelf for the impending future. Read More...

Exoborne Will Need Us To Master The Apocalypse Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of December 2023 - 06:00 PM ]
Exoborne The announcement for Exoborne is here to show us a flashy new apocalypse that Exoborne will soon bring The world is ending… again… and this time we have Exoborne to look at for the reason for it. Not in a real-world kind of way but in the way of the latest title that Sharkmob and Level Infinite are working on to give us all a new experience on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. All with the good news that Exoborne's apocalypse does not look like it will be zombie-based. No, it will be environmentally based, and with the world claiming everything back from humanity… Okay, that is getting a little too close to home for this planet so I might have to recant what I said before. This Week In Video Games 12/18/23 — 12/22/23
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 23rd of December 2023 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week More and more of the video games news has been flowing out there during a time that is normally fairly dry when it comes to all of that. Not a bad thing for us, but a little unusual as we head into the bulk of the holiday season. Especially with the big drops for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and South Park: Snow Day in the mix that we had. Then there were the new tools for Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew and then updates for other video games like Supernormal. Read More...

South Park: Snow Day Has A Release Date With The Same Potty Humor
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of December 2023 - 06:00 PM ]
South Park The release date for South Park: Snow Day is set with a fun collector's edition to give us more South Park goodies Just in time to make sure we can all have our own snow day in reality, maybe, we have the release date for South Park: Snow Day set down. Question Games and THQ Nordic are looking to give the game a solid drop on March 26th, 2024, which feels a lot sooner than many would have thought. I am not complaining about this at the very least, but I was suspecting we might have to wait a bit longer to get South Park in 3D out there. There is a lot more work that has to go into something like that instead of the 2D versions we have seen in the past for the IP. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just as we all thought, this week popped off with so much in the way of new and fun things in the space of video games. All of that in addition to video games like God Of War: Ragnarök and Marvel’s Blade getting some shocking announcements just as we wrapped up this week. With a whole lot more still to come on our site as we play catch up due to not having direct access to things. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of December 2023 - 08:00 PM ]
Blade The announcement of Marvel’s Blade is here and Blade will have his own video game out there in the world one more time Even though many are still waiting for the film to show up out there, it looks as if we are getting a video game based on Marvel’s Blade. A new title that was showcased during The Game Awards and let the world know that the Daywalker was coming back. Coming back and coming from Arkane Lyon and Bethesda when he does come. Not that they have not tried to give us a vampire title not too long ago either… but this one is coming from the Dishonored and DEATHLOOP developers and not the others. Read More...

Alone In The Dark A new delay for Alone In The Dark is here with the devs for Alone In The Dark taking longer for a great reason We have one more delay in the mix for the upcoming Alone In The Dark for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Not due to the fact that the game is not flowing out there well, but for good reasons for Pieces Interactive and not the normal bad things that normally get pushed. We will speak on that in a moment. But to get it out of the way, Alone In The Dark will no longer launch in January 2024, but will be dropping on March 20th, 2024. Read More...
