Directive 8020 Teases Us With Some New & Exclusive Gameplay Here
by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 16th of October 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Directive 8020 A new little slice of Directive 8020 gameplay is here, and we can get a better feel for the non-dialog gameplay for Directive 8020 Even though we are not getting Directive 8020 for Halloween as originally planned, it does look as if we are getting something to take in for the game during the season and to keep us all going until 2026 when it is slated to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Not that Supermassive Games wasn't already busy dropping out other titles for us during the season already, but that is a different topic. For now, we will have a look at the fun little tease that we have for Directive 8020, with some exclusive gameplay out there just in time to add some Sci-Fi horror into the season. Read More...

Explore The Clan Of Divas Within Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2
by Juliet Meyer [ Wednesday, 15th of October 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Bloodlines 2 The next playable clan for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is stepping into the limelight, with the Toreador on display for Bloodlines 2 It looks as if The Chinese Room did opt to leave the brightest for the last when it came to the playable clans in Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2. Not that the Toreador are known for light powers, but they certainly do draw the eyes of mortals to them as a moth to flame. They are the clan of divas and the final of the playable clans that we will have to select for Phyre. Read More...

Kill Your Pain With An Overview Of Painkiller
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of October 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Painkiller One more overview for Painkiller offers up a look at how we will kill our pain in Painkiller Things are popping off here for Painkiller, and we have one more push for the game for those who have been ignoring it all. Who does not want to have a good FPS title where our friends and we need to survive Purgatory? Also, where we will be using tarot cards to modify things in the game as Anshar Studios and 3D Realms tries to fire up this IP for another solid go. You know you want in on Painkiller, but if you needed one more thing, then we have a new overview of the game to look at just before October 21st comes, and we can just play the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A Better World Will Be Releasing Out There Very Soon
by Juliet Meyer [ Monday, 13th of October 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
A Better World The release date for A Better World is now set, with A Better World Company opening up in the coming month If you ever wanted to be a Time Stream Manager in the universe, well, your time will soon be now with the release date set for A Better World. That sounds weird, I know, and it is also off that a game about slipping in and out of time still has some time for us to wait. It just shows that Ludogram and ARTE France have not mastered that aspect of time as of yet. Just the ones we will be using in A Better World when it hits the PC on November 18th. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Monday, 13th of October 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
REANIMAL A new demo for REANIMAL is out there to give us a taste of what REANIMAL will offer out of the Steam Next Fest No longer will you only get to see REANIMAL through the lens of the basic announcement videos. As of right now, for the PC gamers looking for a couch co-op game, Tarsier Studios and THQ Nordic have put together a fun new demo for us all to play well before the game launches on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. That is still slated for a 2026 release window, so you might want to take advantage of the little peeks we have for REANIMAL now. If you are okay with potentially spoiling some of the fun before you can sit through the whole game. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The video games for the week are out, and we had a whole lot of fun leading up to the end of it all. Even if we had a slower week here, as well as in general for the news. A lot of indie titles in the mix, even though we did have something new for Bloodlines 2, Battlefield 6, and Little Nightmares III come about. Not to mention a whole lot of video games to get us all ready for the Halloween season that is already upon us out here. Read More...

Magic: The Gathering Is Now Crossing Over With The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
by Juliet Meyer [ Friday, 10th of October 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Magic Magic: The Gathering is getting another big crossover with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles getting their own Magic cards The Magic: The Gathering fun expands even further out there with a new crossover with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles next year. Even though pre-orders are being served up hot right now, you can make sure that you are able to get these heroes in a half-shell on March 6th, 2026, if that is something you need to do. Granted, there are many other options like this coming to Magic, so it would make sense if you needed to skip this one. It's just worth noting for all of those TMNT fans out there that they can get the core four and many other characters from the IP mixed in, along with some new art that can only be picked up in this way. Join The Blood Pact Against The Abominations In Painkiller
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of October 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Painkiller More of the gameplay for Painkiller is here, with a look at the various creatures we will be shooting within Painkiller I do hope that all of your normal demon hunting skills are up to date before Painkiller launches on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this coming October 21st. It looks like there is going to be all manner of high-intensity action in the mix from Anshar Studios and 3D Realms when it does come. Not only from us but all of our friends we can convince to head into Purgatory in Painkiller to blast all of these terrible things in the face out there. An interesting ask, sure, but one that I am sure will have many others looking at all of the fun and wanting to join in. Read More...

The Lasombra Have Stepped Out Of The Shadows For Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2
by Juliet Meyer [ Wednesday, 8th of October 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Bloodlines 2 A new clan is here for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, with one of the former DLC clans getting a highlight for Bloodlines 2 The clans keep on rolling out there for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, with the latest being the Lasombra. The clan of shadows, and one of the two that The Chinese Room had slated as DLC before it caught some backlash about that. Now, it is a full and playable clan on October 21st when the game launches on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It also looks like it will be one of the clans that many will flock to when they play Bloodlines 2, as it does show them having a lot of power. Read More...

Place Your Childish Dreams Out On Paper In Little Nightmares III
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of October 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Little Nightmares A launch video for Little Nightmares III is out there, with a different take on how Little Nightmares is played out here This is the week that we are finally going to be seeing Little Nightmares III open up on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. That means that it is also high time that we get a fun new video from Supermassive Games to help promote the launch of the game on October 10th here. As if the demo and all of the other things that have been going on for Little Nightmares III have not already done a great job of that out there. Maybe it has not done that well so far, so now we are back with a fun new video to highlight it all and take us into the wonder that is the game. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/29/25 — 10/3/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of October 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We can finally put this week in the back of the books and move on to play all of our video games out there. This was one that was filled, but mostly with the horrors and smaller titles many might not normally go for. Well, if you ignore the fact that Final Fantasy Tactics dropped out there and do not see Bloodlines 2 as a true horror title. The likes of Painkiller and Little Nightmares III graced us with a few bigger things too, but still in the vein of video games that are horror-related. Read More...

Star Trek Voyager: Across The Unknown Transports Us Deep Into Some Gameplay
by Juliet Meyer [ Thursday, 2nd of October 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Star Trek Gameplay for the upcoming Star Trek Voyager: Across The Unknown is out there, and it will allow us to change up the Star Trek universe a bit Let's start our trip into the unknown, with a little look at the gameplay for the upcoming Star Trek Voyager: Across The Unknown. This would be the starship management title that gameXcite and Daedalic Entertainment have been working on, and announced not too long ago. It started out sounding like it would be a flight simulation or another of the action-oriented titles in the Star Trek universe, but now we get to see just how it will flow. It does seem that there will be a lot less of the combat when it launches on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but a whole lot of things that can alter the universe and stories that we have grown to love. Dark Atlas: Infernum Readies The State Of Our Soul With A Release Date
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of October 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Dark Atlas The release date for Dark Atlas: Infernum is now set, with Dark Atlas: Infernum dropping in November this year The horror hits keep on flowing out there, as we now have a release date for Dark Atlas: Infernum on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Sadly, it does not seem as if this one will hit that sweet Halloween season, but that does not mean that Night Council Studio and SelectaPlay will not have it ready for a time near to it. The market is going to be full around then for horror titles, so it makes a bit of sense. Sense that the release date for Dark Atlas: Infernum is now set for November 14th. Read More...
