Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Is Offering Up Some Guidance In Tape 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of April 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Lost Records The second half of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is finally here and we can all experience tape 2 for these Lost Records It is time to rage out there with the launch of the second half of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage. Yes, this kind of rage is more in line with the themes that DON’T NOD are placing into this half of the game and not anything in terms of how long we had to wait to wrap things up for the title. It was a month of waiting, and I know we were on edge the whole time after playing through the full first half of the game. But, as of right now, you can download that second half of Lost Records on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC so you can wrap it all up. Read More...

A date that IOI Partners is still holding fast is June 10th and allowing Build A Rocket Boy a bit more time to get this single-player action title fully worked out. It also offers up a lot more time for us to get some solid teases for it all in the mix as we figure out if MindsEye will be a title for us all to experience on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when the date rolls around. Review — Carmen Sandiego
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of April 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Carmen Sandiego We sit down and review Carmen Sandiego. The Crimson Criminal is back and teaching us all a bit more about the world. Here is our review of half of Carmen Sandiego The Carmen Sandiego IP is certainly one that has been around for a while and holds a place in so many hearts out there for those who have been gaming since the 80s when the original title dropped out there. A solid way for kids to learn about the world and other bits of history from HarperCollins Productions and then spinning off into so many other titles and media as well. One might be hard-pressed in the modern age not to know about the IP or the titular character. Read More...

Cosmic Invasion A new Cosmic Invasion is on the way to us all with the new announcement we have for the brawling game Marvel Cosmic Invasion It has been a bit since we had a good and new side-scrolling beat-em-up game, which is why it is fun that we have the announcement for Marvel Cosmic Invasion here. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Is Switching Things Up For The Switch 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of April 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Tony Hawk There is more of the Tony Hawk fun coming out there with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 heading to the Switch 2 as well It should come as no surprise that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is now on the way to the Nintendo Switch 2. This most likely would have been part of the original announcement for the game if Iron Galaxy Studios and Activision did not have to wait for the new console to get its official showcase, but that is a whole different can of worms. We now know that it is officially coming and not going to be part of some backwards play for those who are picking it up on the original Switch. Even if that might be the best option this coming July 11th with how the new console is being handled in the States currently and if you will even be able to have it before this new Tony Hawk remake title drops out there. This Week In Video Games 3/31/25 — 4/4/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of April 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This certainly was one week of video games out there to help distract us all from the horrors of the real world once again. Not only did we get to see new horrors like Finding Frankie and Amber Alert get some highlights, but we also were able to see something for Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 and the full announcement for the Nintendo Switch 2 in the mix of all of these video games out there. Even if it does look and sound like many are going to have to wait longer for that console to finally launch out there. Trade wars are going to make everyone suffer and it is not something I thought we would ever specifically need to see in the little subculture of the internet. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of April 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Stygian The gameplay of Stygian opens up quite a bit more with a new look at the upcoming entry to the IP, Stygian: Outer Gods This new update that we have for Stygian: Outer Gods is going to be a fun and big one for those out there looking to see where this IP is going out there. It still seems like there is going to be a bit more time before Misterial Games gets us all to the final version of the game, but Fulqrum Publishing is making sure that we are not left waiting for that until some time later in the year. In fact, it looks like the Early Access for Stygian: Outer Gods is about to start up on April 14th for those looking to have some of the experience on the PC before waiting for it to come to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S too. Then again, who needs to wait that long, as there is currently an Open Beta for the game firing off in the same way for all who wish to give it a try. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of April 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Split Fiction Another way to play Split Fiction is on the way with the announcement that Split Fiction will be coming to Switch 2 Here we go with some good news out there for those having issues finding others to play Split Fiction with them. It looks like we are going to have a whole new console opening up its doors to allow for more of the cross-platform play with Hazelight Studios bringing the game on over to the Nintendo Switch 2. That will require more gamers to pick up the new console, sure, but there is already a massive subsection of gamers who are full in on the platform and will not deviate so that should be an easy sell. They will just also be able to pick up Split Fiction on the console on June 5th when all of it launches out there into the world. Read More...
