The wait for Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5… carries on, but we are about to get a welcome home to try to keep the hype flowing for the new chapter heading to the PC. We didn't expect that Mob Entertainment was going to have the turnaround from announcement to launch be that quick, did we? It is still most likely going to be a shorter one as the Poppy Playtime IP has been in the past, but for now, we just get some fun teases and looks at the game that will frighten many and have so many streamers screaming for no real reason. All of the overexaggeration will be coming. Just as we have here for the new cinematic video for the new chapter. One that gives us more Poppy, and a look at the upcoming Prototype that will be stalking us when we are able to play the game.
While this is a fun little update for Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5, there is no gameplay and all rendered visuals to help give us the sense of dread and panic we should be experiencing in the game. As we watch Poppy run through various vents as the Prototype is presumably hunting her down. All of which leads to the ending that we can expect at this point… One more big tease for The Prototype that looks to have prehensile hair and a very purple color palette to it. Not much else beyond that. Well, maybe we have another push to Wishlist Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 on Steam and the Epic Game store as we wait for more to come out for the game. It would have been better to get some actual gameplay of the scene, but I'm guessing they are going to keep that all hidden until we are about to get the full launch of the chapter. You can see all of this just a little further down the page. So, have a look and see if the hype is going to keep you going just a bit longer now.
