Another teaser for Dark Light: Survivor has dropped to show off how this version of Dark Light will dig into a multiverse again The roguelike fun is coming back with a fun bit of tease in Dark Light: Survivor. The next title that Mirari & Co are working on for the PC that is not only going to be giving us some of that gameplay loop bits but also to mix things up in other ways too. Specifically in the visuals as it looks like it will have the cinematic modes that modern games have but then offer up a "pixel mode" to give it all a different look and feel. We are not talking about just a screen overlay for Dark Light: Survivor too, but in something that will do more than just put us back in the past with the grainer look to the visuals. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with the week coming to an end and we had so many fun little things for video games and gaming come out during the week. Most of them are on the smaller or indie scale with titles like Beneath and Underward having some fun. Along with many others that would not normally get the highlight on those other outlets out there. Along with a few video games like South Of Midnight and WWE 2K25 getting all of their fun out there too. Read More...

A demo for Bad Cheese is out there for us all to see if it hits well or really is just some Bad Cheese Those who have heard of Bad Cheese before now and looking to see what else it has to offer up besides a grim look at a specific art style can do so now. A demo for the game is out there on the PC for those looking to see what Simon Lukasik and Feardemic games will be bringing down the line. Sadly, not the full version of it all but even a small taste of Bad Cheese is better than no cheese. I think that is a saying out there or something. Read More...

More of the WWE matches fans have seen will be showing up in WWE 2K25 when the game opens up to the world We are getting so close to getting back into the ring with WWE 2K25 that it is probably time for us to take a look at some of the gameplay that is on the way. I mean, March 14th is not too far off and I am sure that Visual Concepts has put in more work to shake things up and keep this 2K line flowing on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. With WrestleMania 41 also happening soon as well, it will be nice to finally see what new match types and other additions will be coming to the game. Especially since these usually tend to be a solid mix of the old and the new when it comes to everything including performers. Read More...

A new indie-horror title, Liminal Point, is announced with Liminal Point taking us back to some classic roots in the genre It is time to remember some of those classic roots in the horror genre out there with the announcement for Liminal Point. Not because this is a game show or trivia-style game about the genre, but more that it looks as if HideWorks is leaning into some of the elements that made it so popular back when titles like Resident Evil and Silent Hill were just emerging. Yeah, we are going way back and with Liminal Point not leaning into the other basics of classic visuals to give it a retro feeling. That feels like the bigger twist when it comes to titles like this as it does look like a game that could be coming out in 2026 on the PC instead of one that came out in 1996 on the PC. Read More...

The launch of Dream Cage is finally here with a look at one more of the demons that will be haunting us with our Dream Cage All the terrifying things are ready for us to lay down with and experience with the launch of Dream Cage. This is the new horror title that Hitori De Productions has for us all that places into a fractured mind that also suffers from sleep paralysis. Well, at least that is the description we are getting as Dream Cage does show our character walking about more than someone who is paralyzed. Given that they also have early Alzheimer's, this could be how things are explained away in the game. Read More...

A new collaboration with Dead By Daylight is offering up even more to survive in the 2v8 mode of Dead By Daylight It looks like we are going to be getting more to do with our partners out there in Dead By Daylight, as a new collaboration for the 2v8 mode in the game is on the way. One that will keep us further playing into the world that Behaviour has been dominating with and the likes of another massive video game IP. One that we have seen many times before in the Dead By Daylight landscape, with Resident Evil coming back and shaking things up in the matches starting on February 10th and into February 25th. A new puzzle title, Dreampainters, has been revealed with Dreampainters taking some great steps from other giant games If there is one thing we love around here, it is a good puzzle game, and that is what it looks like we are going to be getting with the reveal of Dreampainters. A title that sounds like it would be closer to the likes of Splatoon or Concrete Genie, but as we are seeing from Stability Games and Frozen District, it is something quite a bit different. Almost as if they took some of the better aspects of Portal, and made that into a full game. From the reveal that we have for Dreampainters, that is truly what it looks and feels like we might be seeing on the PC in the future here. Read More...

South Of Midnight goes a bit more of the stop motion to offer up more of the “feel” South Of Midnight is giving It looks like we are going to be getting a whole lot of mood out there for South Of Midnight just before it launches on the Xbox Series X|S and PC. Just in case we all did not have a feel for what Compulsion Games was going for from all of the trailers and little bits of gameplay we have had before. With April 8th not too far off, seeing how the game is going to function is usually the better idea for those looking to pick it up. That is not what we have here today, as we have a new stop motion video for South Of Midnight to help set the tone and “feel” of the game. Read More...
