Naughty Bear To Force You To Come Out The Closet
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of June 2010 - 09:09 PM ]
For the love of the Gods, really another plagiarized page from "How To Be More Like Hades™". Seriously, that is it. Once, ok. Twice, shameful. But now quince. Naughty Bear has stolen too many ideas from my guide now. Time to whip that lawyer into gear to get this legal action taken care of. Confused on what I am talking about? Well below is another except from Naughty Bear's "Book Of Naughty." His rule number 207 titled "Hide'n'Seek" shares quite a resemblance to my rule number 487. Read More…

Review: UFC Undisputed 2010
by Binh Nguyen [ Thursday, 3rd of June 2010 - 05:02 PM ]
UFC surprised us with a lovely right hook with last year's title UFC Undisputed 2009. A year later THQ gives us the slogan “So you wanna be a Fighter” with this year's release of UFC Undisputed 2010. Yeah the name hasn't changed much, but the game certainly has. If you do not know what UFC is by now then you seriously have been living under a rock - especially with names like Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell, Royce Gracie, Randy Couture, George St. Pierre (GSP for short), Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock. Names made famous cause of UFC. Read More…

So you most likely know that you will be able to see the Microsoft Presentation and the Sony Presentation online via one of the many streaming sources. But what about the third in the triangle of video game powerhouses? Will they leave you ass out? Of course not. Just like last year, those who are not able to make it to the physical location in LA, for lack of being in the industry or travel funds, they are giving you the hook up. When the time is right, you can head on over to e3.nintendo. Read More…

Which Villains Get Stylized In Shattered Dimensions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of June 2010 - 06:44 PM ]
Well which of the first three villains are getting a new style for the new Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions at least. Those three being the Green Goblin, Kraven and Hammerhead, if you didn't skip to the video clip already. If you haven't, let me tell you that you may be pretty let down by these "new" villain looks. Mainly just one if I can peg my comic to video game geeks. Let's break it down. Read More…

Sony Gets Another Star Wars MMO
by Corey Dockendorf [ Wednesday, 2nd of June 2010 - 03:23 PM ]
Sony Online Entertainment is no stranger to the Star Wars Universe, but I guess they couldn't wait any longer for BioWare's Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO. Frankly neither can we. SOE is going live today with their latest MMO title - Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures. Sony's new Clone Wars title is geared specifically for the younger generation of Star Wars fans, and avid watchers of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars series on Cartoon Network. Obviously with Sony's success with the Free Realms franchise, kids and micro-transactions go together like peanut butter and bananas. Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures will be free-to-play, but will also utilize the Sony Online Store cash system for players to purchase items, outfits and accessories. Read More…

New PSP Go Promotion Gives New Owners Free Games
by 345 [ Wednesday, 2nd of June 2010 - 01:15 PM ]
A new promotion was announced on the PlayStation Blog yesterday for the PSPGo. Anyone who buys the handheld from now until March 31st, 2011 will receive three free game vouchers. The games included are: Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3, and Little Big Planet. Overall this is a solid set of games, but unfortunately the SCEA bundle pales in comparison with the SCEE deal, as anyone in Europe who buys a PSPGo gets 10 free games with their purchase. This offer pretty much confirms that we won't likely be hearing about a PSP2 anytime soon, and more importantly it shows that SCEA is still doing an incredibly awful job at marketing the PSPGo in the US. This is evident as there is still no price drop in sight for the PSPGo. Read More…

Review: Lost Planet II
by Kevin [ Tuesday, 1st of June 2010 - 04:59 PM ]
When you start comparing Lost Planet II to its predecessor it seems like it should escape all of the pitfalls of the first title and really offer up a solid single player experience with a rich multiplayer to boot. Aside from technical issues, some slightly questionable AI and level design, it delivers. However, a word of advice: Don't bother playing the game by yourself. LP2 just doesn't seem designed for it. Killzone 3 Trying To One Up Uncharted 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of May 2010 - 07:28 PM ]
While it might not seem like it, since they are all Sony developers, it looks as if Guerrilla Games is trying to do just that visually. That and just recently the Senior Producer of Guerrilla Games said as much. But knowing that from the start doesn't help me grab your eyes and thrust them to these new screen shots for Killzone 3. At least new as in Hi-Res as most have been seen already as online scans. Pretty much what you would expect so far am I right? Read More…

New Pokemon Title Destined For The Wii Bargain Bin
by Brian Goodman [ Friday, 28th of May 2010 - 05:29 PM ]
Thanks to 1up.com for breaking the news that the Wii exclusive Pokepark Wii (why do all Wii titles need the name of the console in the title?). The game will star Pikachu doing a whole bunch of crap that isn't fun. Like most people with the stunted tastes of a twelve year old kid, I have always loved the handheld Pokemon games. Despite being an unabashed Nintendo hater. The Nintendo published title's from developer Gamefreak have always been very high quality RPG titles. Read More…

Kane & Lynch Bring Childhood Games Back
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of May 2010 - 03:24 PM ]
Remember when you were younger, more innocent and you use to play Cops and Robbers with all of your neighbors and school friends? Those were good times. Running around pointing fingers like fake guns, or using NERF™ guns. Swapping sides when caught stealing whatever little toy you had placed out there. Gods those were good times. Then we all grew up. Microsoft's Project Natal To Be Priced At $149
by Brian Goodman [ Thursday, 27th of May 2010 - 11:32 PM ]
Accoriding to a report from Edge-Online today Microsoft has set a $149 price tag on its upcoming motion capture camera dubbed "Project Natal". This price is three times the original rumored price of $49. To keep it relative the anticipated pricepoint of Sony's similar upcoming hardware release "move" is rumored to be only $99. Will Microsoft sell the millions of units to the casual and non-traditional gaming crowd that it anticipates at this price point? Will Sony destroy any possibility of success with its newly announced 31% of the console market and its significantly cheaper "Move"? Read More…
