During the Skybound Entertainment panel for The Walking Dead at SDCC, season three for the game was announced We haven't even finished off season two of The Walking Dead from Telltale and now we have season three on the way. It has been confirmed during the panel at SDCC where the game was mentioned and then confirmed from Robert Kirkman and the president of Telltale games, Kevin Bruner. A new collectors for Skylanders Trap Team has been announced called the Dark Edition It has been well reported that we will be able to trap villains and use them in the upcoming Skylanders Trap Team. This also includes the likes of Kaos, the main villain over the past few titles. This of course requiring a special add-on to the physical game in the form of keys which are purchased separately like all of the toys; this would include the special Kaos trap. Ubisoft is setting up a Parkour obstacle course for those at SDCC to hone their Assassin's Creed skills in real life It really looks like The Walking Dead Escape started something at SDCC as it looks like Ubisoft and Assassin's Creed are now bringing their real world video game experience to the convention with the Assassin's Creed Experience. Just announced as part of the outside SDCC events is the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel laser tag arena hosted by Nerdist Not to be left out of the fun of SDCC in now Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel brought to us by Carl's Jr 2K Games and Nerdist. It looks as if they didn't want to miss out on the fun of having something like The Walking Dead Escape at the convention this year so they are bringing us a Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel themed Laser Tag arena for fans to go crazy Broadway style in. Maybe I should say "go crazy Borderlands style" instead but to each their own. During the entire convention we will all be able to be in the Borderlands co-op via laser tag from 11am to 5pm. The Walking Dead Escape is coming back to San Diego Comic Con for a third year and is allowing us gamers to try to survive a zombie apocalypse game in real life If there has been one thing that has caught my love over the last few years at San Diego Comic Con it has to be The Walking Dead Escape. If you haven't seen or heard of it or seen it you can see my 2013 run and my 2012 run or you can just look around online as the event is still touring around the country giving all of us gamers a chance to test our mettle in a real live zombie apocalypse of sorts. Well, not that much that we have not seen or heard from E3 will answer that question. It makes sense that Batman: Arkham Origins would be on display at the San Diego Comic Con but you would think that there would be some kind of information dump that wasn't handed out a month prior. Didn't make it to San Diego Comic Con or the South Park: The Stick Of Truth panel? Well we got you covered. Or at least an amazing individual on the internet has you covered in the video aspect and I have you covered in the details as I was there taking notes for you. It should be no surprise that there isn't much in the way of new information since E3, but a few choice questions from fans and during the panel revealed a few tidbits. One of the best things I have heard in a while has to be that there are no plans to force DLC down our throats even though there were some major cuts from the 850+ page script of the game. Just as last year, The Walking Dead Escape was back with a vengeance at Petco Park during the San Diego Comic Con. For the uninitiated this is an event where a good portion of the sports arena in San Diego was converted into an obstacle course in the theme of AMC's The Walking Dead. It really allows for people to really test their mettle and some of their survival skills to brag that they could survive the initial zombie outbreak. I was lucky enough to get to run the course again this year and what I found interesting was that most people I ran with compared the experience to most of the action zombie video games on the market today. Granted we were not allowed to attack the zombies in the run, but I would have to agree with the sentiment as there has been a push in the industry with Outlast and Dying Light this year. It has been a little over six years since the first Silent Hill film hit the screen and a lot of us have been clamoring for a sequel, myself included. It has been one of the best video game franchises to move over into film and at this year's San Diego Comic Con we were given a look at a bit from the sequel, Silent Hill: Revelations.
