It's Almost Time To Tip The Scales Of War In For Honor's Closed Beta
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of January 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
For Honor New details on For Honor's upcoming closed beta have been revealed and it looks like we'll see nine of For Honor's warriors in action here soon Next week we will see the For Honor closed beta kick off on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC as well as the metagame they are calling the "Faction War." Not a huge secret and people are still holding out hope that they will be in on this beta as Ubisoft still has not sent out confirmations as of the time of this posting on who is in or not. What has just been shared though is just what parts of For Honor we will get to experience in the game here when everything kicks off on January 26th. Read More...

Three More Warriors Join The Fight In For Honor
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of January 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
For Honor Three more heroes coming to For Honor have been shown off for each faction and all look to bring spear fighting to For Honor in their own different ways The full roster of warriors coming to For Honor is almost filled all the way out as we now have three more to add to the ranks. Not a moment too soon either as we are looking at the beta for the game to kick off here in just over a week and then we have the official version coming from Ubisoft on February 14th still. All of these heroes need to have their spotlight and time in the sun before then and time is just running out. Not that I don't think we'll finally get to see and experience them all when For Honor's beta kicks off, but it would be nice to see them all as I'm still going to say that it is a server test and not a beta given that the team would have no time to fix any glaring issues spotted in the two weeks they would have. For Honor's Season Pass Of DLC Has 'Leaked' Out There To The World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of January 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
For Honor The list of season pass content coming to For Honor has popped up online and shows that For Honor will be getting ninjas and centurions Looks like there was a bit of a mix-up over there at the For Honor website as it looks like the contents of the Season Pass accidentally found their way online and for us all to gaze upon. Yes, it looks like someone over at Ubisoft pulled the trigger a little early on the announcement as the content showed up on the site and then vanished. Of course, it was on the internet long enough that someone surfing around the For Honor site was able to snag the images and now we have a list of what will be coming with all of the sweet DLC that is promised for those who paid a little extra for the game. Ghost Recon Wildlands Will Have Some Interesting Music Mixed Into The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of January 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Ghost Recon Wildlands A new behind the scenes video for Ghost Recon Wildlands has been released showing off how the music of Ghost Recon Wildlands was composed and brought in This is going to be another two-for-one kind of deal here for Ghost Recon Wildlands as it looks like we have another behind the scenes video that isn't generally enjoyed by most but it will be followed by a new reveal that is pretty easy to get stoked about. At least it is for me. But first we have a look at just who and how the music is being composed for the game between Ubisoft and Alain Johannes. Read More...

For Honor's Closed Beta Has Now Been Dated As We Gear Up For War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of January 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
For Honor The closed beta coming to For Honor has been dated now as well as the War Of The Factions mode in For Honor being part of the fun too We all knew that the For Honor closed beta was going to be here before the end of the month and now it looks like we have a solid date on when exactly that is going to happen. It does look like Ubisoft is playing things a bit closer to launch here as the game does still launch on February 14th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and now the closed beta is slated for January 26th through to the 29th. That to me reads that they really want to do just a server stress test for the multiplayer of For Honor more than any kind of real balance to the game but maybe they will be able to take all of the collected data, compile it, and make the game tweaks just a few days before it is supposed to hit the streets. Even More Rumors About Beyond Good & Evil 2 Now & Claim It's A Switch Timed Exclusive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of January 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Beyond Good & Evil More rumors for Beyond Good & Evil 2 have appeared and they claim that Beyond Good & Evil 2 will be a timed exclusive for Nintendo Switch This does seem like the year of the rumor as new rumors have cropped up around Beyond Good & Evil 2 and these ones point that the game will be a timed exclusive for the Nintendo Switch right from the game's launch. Don't get your nickers in a bunch just yet as this is all still rumor and nothing official from Ubisoft. It does come from someone who has had a solid track record with leaking Switch info in the past but the latest for Beyond Good & Evil 2 could seem like a little much here. Read More...

Here's A New Montage Of Death Out Of For Honor's Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of January 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
For Honor A montage of executions from For Honor has been placed online and shows only some of kills that For Honor will let us do in the final game There is nothing like a good montage for a game like For Honor and here we have yet another one that focuses on some of the executions that can be done in the game. It is by no means a showing of all of the kills that Ubisoft has in store for us in the final build, especially since we still have more heroes to meet, but it is a nice collection that is out there to build on. At least that is the hope because if For Honor had only these few shown here then I'd start to question what we are going to get in the final build of the game and what we are really waiting for when the game launches on February 14th. For Honor Has Yet Another Collector's Edition If The First One Wasn't Enough
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of December 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
For Honor The Apollyon Collector's Edition of For Honor has just been shown off from GameStop in case you needed more For Honor goodies to adorn your game cave If you've been waiting to see the next big collector's edition coming to For Honor then you are in luck as we have a new one to look at as the original has already sold out. That would be the version that came with the three different helmets on stands that Ubisoft sold through their store a little while back. Now we get a new one right out of GameStop to look at and maybe drop some extra cash on For Honor to get some extra little goodies. Read More...

New Rumors Claim That The Next Assassin's Creed Will Be Heading To The Switch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of December 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Assassin's Creed Another rumor for the next Assassin's Creed title is out there floating around & claiming this Assassin's Creed will be on the Nintendo Switch It looks like the rumor mill is flowing again as we get further speculation on the next Assassin’s Creed title and this time it is about the platforms it could be coming to. Of course none of this has been confirmed or commented on by Ubisoft as of yet but that doesn't mean that it couldn't be a possibility and this one seems to have some merit in general as well as others "in the know" agreeing with it. Pretty much this all boils down to the next Assassin's Creed coming to the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and… the Nintendo Switch when it finally comes out. Read More...

See For Honor's Latest Three Heroes In Action In A New Elimination Mode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of December 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
For Honor Another look at For Honor's latest heroes has been released along with a look at a new mode in For Honor that brings a new team dynamic A few weeks back we had a look at a new character for each faction in For Honor and a little bit of the story going on. Things were explained a bit as we had the chance to look at them in action but it's always fun to get a refresher and that is what Ubisoft has for us here today. This would be the Shugoki, Warlord, and Peacekeeper just in case you missed out on the original look we were all given. Not only that but a look at the new multiplayer mode, Elimination, coming to For Honor when it launches on February 14th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC next year. Read More...

Watch Dogs 2 Brings Us More T-Bone With Its First DLC Pack
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of December 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Watch Dogs 2 The first DLC pack for Watch Dogs 2 is out, at least for the PS4, and we can see what will be coming to Watch Dogs 2 in it and in the near future for others I hope you are still ready for more Watch Dogs 2 as it looks like we are getting our first bit of DLC for the game and if you are playing on the PS4 version then you can have it as of right now. The Xbox One and PC crowd are going to have to wait until January 24th to get their hands on it and it that shouldn't come as any surprise as Ubisoft has been pretty forthcoming about their timed DLC partnership for the PS4 version. We can all wish that Watch Dogs 2 was an equal opportunity platform supporter but as the cash flows it is just not the case. Read More...

War Is Going To Be Triggered Everywhere In For Honor
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of December 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
For Honor A new story trailer is out showing off For Honor's big picture as well as three new hero types coming to For Honor to keep the battles raging on War is going to be everywhere in For Honor and if you didn't know this already then here is your reminder as that is pretty much the core of the gameplay here. If you didn't know that already then it looks like Ubisoft isn't doing their job of getting that word out there and we have failed as well. Well, up until now if any of that rings true as the latest story trailer has been released and shows just what For Honor is going to have us be doing in the game. Read More...

South Park: The Fractured But Whole Will Have Us Saving Kitties To Start
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of December 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
South Park A new trailer for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has released, instead of the game, and it looks like we can see the South Park mission that starts it all I know I am not alone when I say I'd like to be playing South Park: The Fractured But Whole as of right now. Yesterday (12/6) was the original release date for the game and now we sit and wait for the new date to even be announced for some time in "Early 2017." This is just how video games go sometime and hopefully all of this waiting means that Ubisoft is more about getting us a great game instead of padding numbers for the year. One can hope and I know that I still have high hopes for South Park and am glad to see that we have a new trailer to look at instead of the game that we should have had. Read More...

Ghost Recon Wildlands Will Be Giving Us A Lot Of Freedom To Play With
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of November 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Ghost Recon Wildlands A new video for Ghost Recon Wildlands has released and details how Ghost Recon Wildlands will give us all a bit of freedom to how we play the game in the end Here we go with another Ghost Recon Wildlands update that doesn't really give us much in terms of gameplay footage but it does let us know that the game will give us some of the sweet, sweet freedom that we all love when playing our games. This seems to be how most of Ubisoft's titles are going now but at least it seems fitting here. Not to say that the other titles didn't fit with it but it is here as not all missions in the world can really follow a linear path or story. Read More...

Review â Watch Dogs 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of November 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Watch Dogs 2 We sit down and review Watch Dogs 2. It's a sequel that has a lot to hack up to on its own. Here's our review of Watch Dogs 2 The wait is almost over and the hype levels for Watch Dogs 2 have been hitting an all-time high as we get ever closer to November the 15th and we can see the game launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The first Watch Dogs, for me, was an amazing game and I was excited to see that Ubisoft was keeping to making this a whole new franchise. Now we are here on the eve of Watch Dogs 2's launch and we had a chance to give the game a good play just before that date. Read More...
