This Week In Video Games 9/7/15 â 9/11/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of September 2015 - 07:14 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It has been a shorter week in the video games world here but that still doesn't mean we didn't get to what we could. It did allow for us to play catch-up on all of those video games we had sitting around or just launched here recently. Only now we get to look forward to titles like Rock Band 4, Hellblade, and The Wither 3's DLC that are all coming. At least based on all of the video games we had to cover this week even though, like I said, it was shortened by the most recent American holiday and we took a break to play some video games. This Week In Video Games 8/31/15 â 9/4/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of September 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This has really been the week of video games and their collector's editions hasn't it? There sure were a lot of those announced or shown off this week haven't there? Although now of them have been anything to write home to mom about but not all video games can have amazing CEs. If you don't believe me you can have a look at the Uncharted 4, Street Fighter V, and Deus Ex collector's editions that we had the pleasure of seeing this week. Also a Resident Evil one of sorts for the new HD remasters but those aren't true collector's editions. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/10/15 â 8/14/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Thus concludes another week in video games here. It's been kind of a scattered mess all week as to what we have been getting but none the less we had another fun week for all things video games. I know I am happy to see that Rise Of The Tomb Raider is going to have a lot of what made the franchise amazing back in it. Then there is all the new stuff we had for Mad Max and all the multiplayer beta stuff for Black Ops 3. Oh and let us not discount the fact that the PlayStation Experience is coming back this year even though it is heading off to another city. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/20/15 â 7/24/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games And thus concludes another week of news in video games. Well news, reviews, and conjecture for video games but that didn't seem to have a nice ring to it. None the less it was a week of Assassin's Creed Syndicate, The Walking Dead, and a few reviews. Reviews for The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter and the latest episode for Tales From The Borderlands to be exact. We like being exact don't we. Read More...

The Assassin's Creed Experience Is Returning For SDCC 2015
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of July 2015 - 03:00 PM ]
Just in case you couldn't prove your Assassin's Creed merit at last year's SDCC Assassin's Creed Experience, the event is returning and coming with a new Victorian London vibe If there is one great way to promote an Assassin's Creed title it was definitely the Assassin's Creed Experience at SDCC last year. Sadly though if you were not able to attend San Diego Comic Con or you didn't want to stand in the long line for a short experience that was the only way to experience it. If you want another chance though it looks like the Assassin's Creed Experience is returning again and this time it has the Assassin's Creed Syndicate makeover added into the mix with this time ending in a Leap Of Faith out of the Tower Of London. A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Finally we are back on track and getting all of the video game news and updates finally out there from E3. These were also only some of the video games we were able to get to and we all know that there was a whole lot more but our team is limited here and we can only get to so many video games in the day. Assassin's Creed Victory Has Ironically Been Announced?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of December 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
It looks like the next Assassin's Creed title has been kind of announced in the way of Assassin's Creed Victory which takes place in Victorian London Yes, I find it funny that we are hearing word of Assassin's Creed Victory, at least in code-name form, with the recent blunders from Assassin's Creed Unity and Assassin's Creed Rogue here not too long ago. None the less it looks like we have a glimpse of the next annualized addition to the franchise in the way of Assassin's Creed Victory. The name of course supposed linked to the fact that the next title will take place during 19th Century/Victorian London. Read More...

It's Time To Question The Creed In Assassin's Creed Rogue
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of November 2014 - 01:00 PM ]
A new web experience for Assassin's Creed Rogue will let you see how some of the iconic kills in the franchise were viewed from the other side I think words have yet to be able to explain how excited I am for Assassin's Creed Rogue. It will be the first real time that we get to see things from the perceived villains of the franchise: The Templar. Hopefully we will get to see why they are taking all the steps that they have over the years that have "required" the Creed to have been formed. Granted in Assassin's Creed Rogue we are only going to be seeing the side of events that took place around the timeline of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag but it is something more than nothing. Assassin's Creed Unity Is Playing With Time Travel
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of October 2014 - 01:00 PM ]
A new Assassin's Creed Unity trailer has been released and it shows off what Ubisoft is calling 'time anomalies.' No, the above image isn't some new skin for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare or something alike. It is from the most recent Assassin's Creed Unity trailer that you can see just a bit lower on the page. It looks like Ubisoft has decided to show off how their new 'time anomaly' system is going to shake up Assassin's Creed Unity when we actually get our hands on it. The only thing is this new feature looks to add quite a bit of time travel into the mix… Of course this has been no big deal in titles of the past. Read More...

There Are So Many Game Modes In Assassin's Creed Unity
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of October 2014 - 03:01 PM ]
Ubisoft gives us a breakdown of the different gameplay modes for Assassin's Creed Unity outside of the standard story missions It is no big surprise that Assassin's Creed Unity is going to have a whole lot going on in the open world of the game. Ubisoft generally makes sure that there is so much going on in any Assassin's Creed title that you will be spending hours doing everything else besides playing the main narrative. Assassin's Creed Unity has already added in the multiplayer mission aspect and now we have a look at the other ordeals, trials, challenges, and fun we will be having on our PS4s, Xbox Ones, or PCs on November 11th. I know that throwing in a whole bunch of collectibles and mini-missions is a way to make Assassin's Creed Unity or any game feel like it is a lot longer than it actually is. Read More...

Meet The Cast Of Assassin's Creed Unity
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of October 2014 - 03:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Assassin's Creed Unity has been released to let us get to know the cast of the game as well as the voice actors You think you may know the cast of Assassin's Creed Unity if you are a history buff but we all know that is most likely not the case. History buff or no, Ubisoft has always added their own little flair to the historical figures that aid or hinder you in the Assassin's Creed franchise so maybe it is time to get to know the differences. That is just what we have in the most recent trailer released for Assassin's Creed Unity so all the speculation and wonder before the game launches to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in November can be put to rest. We get a good look at Arno from Assassin's Creed Unity as well as his partners in crime. Read More...

Story Time â Assassin's Creed Unity
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of October 2014 - 01:00 PM ]
The story trailer for Assassin's Creed Unity has been released from Ubisoft so we can better grasp the character of Arno With all the focus on the multiplayer side of Assassin's Creed Unity it was easy to forget that there is an overarching story for the game. What kind of Assassin's Creed game would it be if Ubisoft didn't expand on the modern world story as well as the story as to why Arno is murdering across the French Revolution? If it didn't I think it would be the end of the franchise that has kept the developer and publisher burning money to light their cigars or whatever other inane rich person stereotype we can tag on to them. Like it or not, Assassin's Creed Unity is going to make them a lot of money. Read More...
