Don't Forget Assassin's Creed Revelations Is Coming Out Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of November 2011 - 05:31 PM ]
With all the games that we have/will be bombarded with in the short time frame, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Modern Warfare 3, Need For Speed: The Run, Saints Row: The Third and Halo Combat Evolved to name a few, let's not forget Assassin's Creed: Revelations is also in the mix - coming up here on the 15th to be exact. I personally haven't seen all that much effort to drive the date home and this is one of my favorite franchises recently. I figured I'll give a little bit of (our) site time to the game. Read More...

Listen to Corey, David and Brian talk over what exactly is games journalism and whether we consider ourselves to be a part of that group. Review: Assassin's Creed 2
by Ben Brody [ Saturday, 21st of November 2009 - 11:07 PM ]
Assassin's Creed had very few pitfalls: a repetitive story mode, inability to swim, and repetitive animations. AC2 fixes all these issues, and more. When Ubisoft came out with AC, it was the only gun-free, action oriented, free roam game, and up until AC2, it stayed that way. It was a risky move on their part in a predominately FPS dominated world. It paid off and did more than justify a sequel. In a world of gun oriented, short single player mode, multiplayer based games, AC2 isn't, and it is just as awesome as any other game out there. Read More...

Oh The Brütality Of Assassin's Creed 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 17th of October 2009 - 04:17 PM ]
The combat in the first Assassin's Creed was nothing to write home to mom about. You had the few weapons and the few stances and moves you could employ. You couldn't even use you hidden blades for anything other assassinations and counter moves. It just wasn't all that extravagant. This was something that Ubisoft definitely wanted to fix. That and the variety of guards that you had to take down to move about the game world. Something I know I wished for when going through the first play through. Read More...

Assassinating Never Looked So Good
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of September 2009 - 07:52 PM ]
As Ubisoft promised, just before PAX we are given the little gem of an Assassin's Creed 2 gameplay video. Why they did it before, I have no clue. But I'm not going to complain and neither will you after you get to see how awesome the new game has shaped up. So many more improvements over the first Assassin's Creed and so many new features added, not that the first one was rubbish. It wasn't at all. Ubisoft just did the sequel very right. Read More...
