by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Holly Hells, it has been a huge week in video games as E3 has now come and gone. There were all kinds of surprises and fun to have been had and we were out there on the ground checking out all of those games and collecting information. One of the big video games out there being Cyberpunk 2077 and we have a lot more to share with you than what we already have here. That and more for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider, Spider-Man, and Death Stranding just to name a few. Read More...

The First Bit Of Gameplay For Overkillâs The Walking Dead Is Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of June 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We finally have our first bit of gameplay for Overkill’s The Walking Dead and it looks like it is a new way to experience The Walking Dead The wait is over and we finally have some gameplay for Overkill’s The Walking Dead to look at instead of all of the amazing little teases and pre-rendered segments we have been given so far. Not that I have not enjoyed what Starbreeze has put together for those little bits, but I know I just want to see what I will be playing for Overkill here and not just the fancy stuff we will not be playing. All without having to wait until November 6th to get to actually see and play this version of The Walking Dead on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/4/18 â 6/8/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This has totally been a week of video games to lead up to this year's E3. It could have been something that could have been extremely slow, but it looks like everyone out there was down to give us all a whole lot before the show. We had a nice release date for Days Gone dropped on us, a whole lot for two video games in The Walking Dead franchise, and a new Hitman title on the way. Most of which coming before the end of the year and having a lot of things to show off on the floor out there at E3. Read More...

Heather Is Here To Round Out The Characters For Overkillâs The Walking Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of June 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The fourth and final character for Overkill’s The Walking Dead is now here and we can start to see just how this version of The Walking Dead is shaping up Today marks the day that all of the characters for Overkill’s The Walking Dead have been revealed and now we will hopefully be seeing some actual gameplay or other elements for the game moving forward. Not that I do not enjoy the CGI videos that Overkill has for each of them, but I think it is high time for a look at what we should actually be getting in Fall of 2018. Maybe it is just me? The Walking Dead: The Final Season Gets Really Dark With A Release Date
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of June 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The release date for The Walking Dead: The Final Season has been set and we will see how Clementine's story will wrap in The Walking Dead universe Get those tears ready as The Walking Dead: The Final Season has a release date set for the first episode now and now we can see how it will all end on August 14th. At least see how Clementine's story will end in the franchise, so that could mean that Telltale Games could technically keep the IP going but I have a feeling that this will be the end of it all. This, of course, does not sound like things will go to well for the character as this is The Walking Dead and stories almost always come to a close with the character's horrible death. Read More...

Grant Is Out There Searching For Something In Overkillâs The Walking Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The third character for Overkill’s The Walking Dead is here and he has a tale to tell that is just as chilling as any story in The Walking Dead The next character for Overkill’s The Walking Dead is here and we get to know a bit more about Grant before we get to see any actual gameplay. Yes, this is a new cinematic trailer for the game that Overkill has put together and does not seem to house any real gameplay. It may not be what you were hoping for just yet for this title in The Walking Dead universe, I know, but it is still something that Starbreeze wanted to have out there as we wait for that fateful date in Fall of this year so we can play the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Overkillâs The Walking Dead Next Character Is Here To Break Hearts
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of April 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The next character for Overkill’s The Walking Dead game has a new trailer to see and it shows another darker side in the world of The Walking Dead It is time to add another character to Overkill’s The Walking Dead and here we go with Maya. Just like the last character that we were shown from Overkill, it is all done through a very cinematic manner and not through any real gameplay to look at. Not that I am going to complain as this one certainly embodies The Walking Dead universe with another tragic survival story told without any words but actions. More or less, the backstory of Maya that we can look to experience when we get to finally play the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this Fall. Read More...

The Walking Dead: The Final Season Will Be Shaking Up The Usual Formula A Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of April 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead New gameplay for The Walking Dead: The Final Season was shown off during PAX East and it looks to change some of the gameplay for The Walking Dead that we knew During PAX East there was a nice little panel that went into a bit more for The Walking Dead: The Final Season. Not the most hidden of information as Telltale Games made sure we all knew about it and had a chance to watch it from the comfort of our own homes if we were not able to attend the event this year. It was nice of them and definitely caught the eye of many fans of The Walking Dead out there. Unfortunately for those who could not make their way out there in general, you had to miss out on things even if you did catch most of the panel as it was streamed live. Read More...

Welcome To Georgetown In Overkillâs The Walking Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of March 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead A new look at Overkill’s The Walking Dead title is here and they take us further into some of the environments inspired by The Walking Dead universe Just a bit more for Overkill’s The Walking Dead title has been placed out there in the mix of the very little we all have had so far. It is still scheduled to release this Fall for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC but Overkill and Starbreeze have not truly given us all much to go on. It is set in The Walking Dead universe, most likely the comics, and also takes place where the core of that story is held. Read More...

The Obligatory 2017 Video Games Year In Review List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of December 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Video Games There were a lot of video games that came out in 2017 and we tried to review as many video games as we could. Here's a recap of them all The year is finally over and there were a lot of great video games that came out. There were also a lot of shitty ones in the mix as well. Just like every year, there were all over the place and we had a chance to give a good chunk of them all a play and thus a review. Hells, we even had more indie-based video games mixed in to add an extra level of interest here. It, of course, is not a list of all video games that came out this year but it is a list of what we had to experience over here in our little part of the world. Read More...

Overkillâs The Walking Dead Introduces Us To Aidan & The Game Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of December 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead New updates for Overkill’s The Walking Dead are finally here and we get a taste of what life in this FPS set in The Walking Dead universe will feel It has been quite some time that we had any updates for Overkill’s The Walking Dead title that we heard about back in 2015. It is still in the works and Starbreeze with 505 Games is still bringing it to us on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. All of that and Overkill is still working hard on it and is finally ready to show off more of their take on The Walking Dead universe. All in a cinematic way, but given that the game is now slated for Fall of 2018, we still have some time to get all of those extra details and bit of gameplay to get us all excited for this game. The Walking Dead Collection Is Getting All Graphical
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of November 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Have a look at how The Walking Dead is getting some improved graphics for the upcoming The Walking Dead Collection next week It has not been a huge secret that the PS4 and Xbox One were going to be getting The Walking Dead Collection here soon. Seeing as December 5th is right around the corner and that is the day that Telltale Games is going to push it out there, I guess it is high time that we talk about it all. For those who may have missed out on it all, this is the nice big bundle that houses all 19 episodes of The Walking Dead that the studio has put out there. It is crazy to think that we have had that many forays into that universe so far and we still have one more to go sometime in 2018. Read More...

The Walking Dead Is Getting A Fourth & Final Season Next Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of August 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead During SDCC it was revealed that The Walking Dead from Telltale will be getting one more season to wrap up The Walking Dead story we've been waiting for There was a lot of good news to come out of SDCC this year but what we have here is a mix of good and bad as The Walking Dead: The Final Season has been announced to be in the works and heading to us sometime in 2018. Obviously we can see the good news here as we will get to see Clementine back in action and dig into some of the best storytelling that Telltale Games can offer, but it also means that all of this will be coming to an end here. I'm going to go on a limb and guess this is due to the fact that The Walking Dead is over saturating the market with all of the other titles they have coming out there, but it could just be that the team wants to move on to other things or maybe other aspects of the universe. This Week In Video Games 6/5/17 â 6/9/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Here we go with one of the last weeks of video games before everything explodes with E3 here. I figured this would be one of the slower weeks as all of the good news and updates would be held until next week, and for the most part I was right. We did get the release date for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and a look at Injustice 2's Red Hood before he launches next week. Not to mention we wrapped up another of The Walking Dead's video games here in terms of reviews. Read More...

Review â The Walking Dead: A New Frontier â From The Gallows
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — From The Gallows. This is the final episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did It may have had a slow start to get going, but here we go with the end of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's season here. Technically this would be the end of the third season of the franchise from Telltale Games but given the new title it can be seen as its own thing in a shared universe. No matter which way you want to take it, here we are at the end of this season of The Walking Dead and in turn the conclusion of this story and hopefully closure on all of the other events and choices in the game so far.
