DOOM And Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Coming To The Switch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Wolfenstein It has just been announced that DOOM and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will be hitting the Switch but no word on the previous Wolfenstein titles While not the most surprising move here by Bethesda, it now looks like Nintendo Switch owners can not only look forward to Skyrim making the jump over, but also Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and the most recent DOOM. All so you can take all of these titles on the go with you instead of just enjoying them in your home. At least that was the big push when Wolfenstein II and DOOM were added to the list of the most recent Nintendo Direct stream. Read More...

These are all by gamers and for gamers while the awards actually go to the developer behind our favorite games that have come out. Read More...

DOOM Gets Another Free Update & Brings In New Multiplayer Modes
by Jana Lass [ Friday, 9th of December 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
DOOM The fifth free update for DOOM is here and it brings in some new modes to DOOM's multiplayer among many other updates for the game now Hopefully you weren't thinking of putting DOOM for a bit to give some of these other great games a chance. If you were then you are going to be a bit sore with id Software as they have just released yet another Free Update for the game and it brings a whole new multiplayer mode and the ability to reach the rank of Echelon 11 in the game. It's almost like they don't care about the other titles that Bethesda has brought us and want us all to stay focused on DOOM for as long as they want. Not that this is a bad thing, but there are only so many hours in the day and some of them need to be dedicated to keeping one's being up and in the land of the living. Read More...

Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Such an amazing week in video games this one has been. All with a bit of Dishonored 2 mixed in and the start of the mad rush to get all of these reviews out to you all. We need an extra 30 hours to get to all the video games this week and even then I don't think we would have enough time. We are not even in any kind of convention season so we can only imagine how crazy all of that will be. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of April 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games We survived yet another week in video games and all of the stupidity that comes with April Fool's Day. Yea, there was a whole lot of stupid again but at least you know you can come here to make sure you don't get pranked unlike all those other sites out there. Everything from the news about The Walking Dead: Michonne to the BioShock Collection was all real stuff in the world of video games and not some dumb joke to make you feel dumb. I think we all would have rioted if all the Final Fantasy XV news was a huge joke planned to get us all excited now wouldn't we have? Read More...

Meet The Demons Of DOOM's Hell That Are Ready To Slay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of March 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
DOOM On the heels of DOOM's multiplayer modes announcement we now have a look at the playable demons coming to DOOM in said multiplayer Here we go with yet another look at DOOM and its upcoming multiplayer. This time we have a good look at the demons that id Software have crafted for us to ruthlessly slaughter each other with in the game. Also some of those cool power ups and weapons that the non-demons in the game would be using to stay alive. If there wasn't some kind of balance to DOOM and its demons there would be no point to not play a demon after all. Read More...

DOOM Is Getting Some Classic & New Multiplayer Modes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of March 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
DOOM The six multiplayer modes for DOOM have been revealed and it includes two classic modes that DOOM fans will remember and four others to flesh it out We just had a good look at the multiplayer maps that were coming to DOOM and now it looks like we have a look at the modes of gameplay we will have when entering into said maps. That didn't take too long but it is not surprising given that the beta goes live here in about a week and Bethesda needs to get us all more jazzed. As if what id Software has put together already for DOOM hasn't been enough it looks like we have at least four more multiplayer modes that deviates from the basics we would have all expected. Get A Look At DOOM's Nine Unique Multiplayer Maps
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of March 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
DOOM A new video for DOOM has been released and this one shows off nine of the maps that will be included in DOOM's multiplayer during the beta & at launch The multiplayer beta for DOOM is only a few weeks out now and we haven't yet been able to see the maps that we will be killing each other on. This could be a good ploy by Bethesda to keep us all on our toes or it could be that id Software is still wrapping up a build just for the beta and they aren't done yet. Looks like whatever the case was before it is no longer the case as now we have a nice quick look at the nine maps coming to DOOM and that will be available to play when the beta goes live on March 31st for everyone lucky enough to be in on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. DOOM's Multiplayer Closed Beta Is Taking Us To Hell & Back
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of March 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
DOOM The dates for DOOM's multiplayer closed beta have been confirmed and it looks like fans of DOOM will be slaying each other in Hell very soon Looks like we all will be entering the brutal world of DOOM here soon as the multiplayer beta is only a few weeks out now. We are talking like a few weeks as it is currently slated to run from March 31st to April 3rd. At least if you picked up id Software's earlier title Wolfenstein: The New Order as it looks like Bethesda isn't fully ready to open the floodgates for DOOM's multiplayer to the world just yet. At least they are trying to work out some of the bugs earlier on than the week before unlike some other recent titles… As with all of these kinds of things this isn't going to be the full multiplayer mode coming to DOOM when it launches on May 13th. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of February 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There we go and wrap another great week in video games. It may not have been the most exciting in the lot but there was a whole lot of great things covered during the week. Such video games as Final Fantasy XV and Friday The 13th had some great coverage but also a final release date for DOOM and new bit of story for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst even if it does make the overall game look a lot different than we grew to love before. Thus is the way of video games right? Of course it is. Read More...
