Review â Rock Band Rivals
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of November 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Rock Band We sit down and review Rock Band Rivals. A huge expansion for the original title to build from. Here's our review of Rock Band Rivals When I saw that Rock Band 4 was going to be a thing I became overly excited and prepped to get back into the swing of things. I was glad to see Harmonix bringing back one of the franchises I loved to play; and back on the PS4 and Xbox One. Then things fell a bit flat for me. Like something was truly missing from the game. Rock Band Rock Band 4 is finally getting online multiplayer added into the mix and a few other huge features that have yet to be seen in Rock Band to date We may not be getting a PC version of Rock Band 4 anytime soon but we are all finally getting online multiplayer for the PS4 and Xbox One version of the game. Yep, one of the most requested features for the game is finally coming back and Harmonix is hard at work to do it again. That and if you are also willing to shell out the sum of $2500 USD to pick up Rock Band 4 and all of the songs currently available for the game. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of March 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There we go with another week of video games in the bag. It was a bit more on the slow side given the proximity to GDC but that doesn't mean there wasn't much to see and experience in gaming. We had more to look at for Vampyr and we have more to look forward to for Portal. We are all prepped for DOOM's beta that is upcoming and it looks like Overwatch will be entering an early access as well. Like I said, all kind of news and updates on this slow week for video games. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of March 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Rock Band Harmonix, and in turn Rock Band, have entered a new co-publishing agreement that could me new Rock Band 4 features and new hardware to rock with If you were thinking that all you were going to get for Rock Band 4 as we pressed on was only going to be new tracks and minor updates to the game then you may have been right. It did seem that way as after the last major update it looked like Harmonix was kind of in a tough spot and just trying to stay afloat for all of the fans out there. Hells they are still working on a PC version of the game and don't forget Rock Band VR. Read More...

Rock Band 4 Heading To PCâ¦If Youâre Willing To Payâ¦
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of March 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Rock Band 4 Looks like Rock Band 4 could be headed to the PC platform as a new Fig campaign has been opened to complete development on Rock Band 4 for PC Rock Band 4 hit the PS4 and Xbox One only a few months ago and people questioned why we were not seeing it on the PC as the main competitor was hitting all of the platforms out there. Harmonix quickly rebuffed those claims with the reasons of piracy and not placing the game on a PC platform was the only way to negate that issue. Well it seems that was only a placeholder answer as now we may see Rock Band 4 land on the PC as they are looking for funding to bring it there. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/21/15 â 12/23/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of December 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another short week in video games but it was a bit hardier than we have had in Christmases past. Usually this time is filled with all kinds of fluff and filler for our precious video games but there were so many little tidbits revealed and shared for our video games that it was fruitful. Granted some were on the sad side like the Uncharted 4 delay but then there were others like the Kingdom Hearts 3 gameplay and additions coming to Dying Light and Black Ops 3. We were even able to crank out a few of those promised reviews into the mix as well. Read More...

Rock Band 4's Gnarly Bugs To Get Fixed But You May Not Like It
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of December 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Rock Band 4 Another major update for Rock Band 4 is on its way in January and it looks to fix major bugs in Rock Band 4 but will require a leaderboard wipe If you were thinking about doing a major Rock Band 4 marathon over the holiday weekend to try and rack up some serious leaderboard cred you may want to hold off for now. If you are just looking to have fun with Rock Band 4 go right ahead but for those looking to reach the top of the boards it looks like Harmonix is going to set everyone back to zero after their next planned major update coming to the PS4 and Xbox One this coming January. The good news though is that this is all to fix some major glitches and exploits in Rock Band 4 to make the game a bit more balanced for all players no matter the skill level. Read More...

Rock Band 4 Is About To Get More Brütal This Month
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of December 2015 - 03:03 PM ]
Rock Band 4 A new gameplay mode for Rock Band 4 has been shown off, Brutal Mode, and it adds a huge spin on Rock Band 4 that many people may not be able to handle We've already heard of a few great things coming to Rock Band 4 with the next major update for the game. Well it looks like Harmonix had yet another feature mixed in that we are just hearing about called Brutal Mode. As if Expert and Breakneck Speeds were not going to kill us in Rock Band 4 already, now we have a new mode that will not only challenge the hardcore fan but pretty much anyone who is gutsy enough to give Rock Band 4's new Brutal Mode a play. This will not be for the non-nimble fingered for sure. Read More...

Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Thus concludes another week in video games; albeit a shorter one. Fallout 4 Is Taking Over Everything Including Rock Band 4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of November 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Rock Band 4 It has been revealed that in Rock Band 4's upcoming major patch not only will there be new features for Rock Band 4 but also some new costumes based on Fallout 4 It looks like even Rock Band 4 cannot get away from the Fallout 4 fever that has been taking over the world as of late. In the next major update for Rock Band 4 it looks like Harmonix is going to mix in some new gear all based on the post-apocalyptic title for all of those fans who can seem to put Fallout 4 down long enough to enjoy a good old night of Rock Band 4. Seems like a daunting task for those gamers but it is something I can see them at least trying. Rock Band 4 deserves it and the wasteland needs some time to fill back in all of the dead enemies right? Read More...
