Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown Run On Through More Of The World For Us

Prince Of Persia

One more tease for Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown is here to offer up a new look at the world of Prince Of Persia

I do hope that you are ready to run through a whole new world out there on January 15th when Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown lands on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Given that Ubisoft is not only ready to keep the IP alive again but also giving us the Metroidvania-style of gameplay that will have us doing all of that, we should know that revisiting parts of it all will be part of the bread and butter. I am sure this is partially why we have a new look at this Prince Of Persia and the various landscapes, areas, and monsters we will be facing in the game. Get ready to do a different kind of run through the game as we dive into some of the other places this game might be taking us to.

We have had a few of these in the past for Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown, and some of the footage is recycled here, but here we get a taste of why we are going to these different lands and a look at how vastly different they might be along the way. As the title of the game usually implies, we should be seeing all manner of shifting sand locations and maybe a few oasis locations in the mix of temples and towers. Some of these new locations feel like we will be traveling a whole world in this Prince Of Persia title. All as we face off with the various gods and monsters roaming the lands too. None of these are fully highlighted here, but it is something to show off that we will not just be running in palaces and deserts of this title as some of the earlier work implied that we might be going through out there.

Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown — World

Get a deeper look at the rich and layered mythical world of Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown, the upcoming Metroidvania from Ubisoft that is due out for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on January 15th.

I am all for seeing the mythical world of Prince Of Persia expanding more and more, and it looks as if this title is going to try to deliver out there. Even if some of the lands feel like they are the same but with a differently tinted skin slapped over it all. Sometimes one does have to reuse the same assets while making them look slightly different. It is a tool of the trade and something that Prince Of Persia has done in the past. Thankfully, this one makes it all feel like it works to an amazing end, so if the combat and platforming gameplay functions just as well, then no one will ever truly notice. I am ready for the next few weeks to fly right by so I can jump into this one and give it all a solid run now.

Are you still excited for Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown to drop out there or did you forget it was coming this early into the year? Do you think all of the maps will feel truly different or will there be some overlap so the team can give us a better game in the mix of it all? Did you want there to be the same desert theme throughout the game no matter what or are you glad that there will be a different setting feel across it all? Take to the comment section to discuss all of this and everything else that we can share with you out there. Please keep on coming back to see and hear about all of these updates for Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown. I know it will be worth it once the game does finally land on us out there.
