The Guardians Of The Galaxy Cast Is Here With Gameplay Coming Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of March 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Guardians Of The Galaxy New screenshots for Guardians Of The Galaxy have been placed out there with word on when we'll see Guardians Of The Galaxy in action before launch We've all been waiting for something to come out officially for the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy title that Telltale Games is working on but since its originally announcement back in December all we've had have been rumors and speculation. Things like the "leak" that we may see the first episode at least before the end of April, the 25th is still the date in rumor, as well as very little on what the game's story will actually revolve around. Given that Marvel has made it clear that their video games don't need to follow the Film and TV franchise continuity if they don't want to, this version of the Guardians Of The Galaxy is rather up in the air and still fraught with mystery. Guardians Of The Galaxy Could Be Landing As Soon As April
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of January 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Guardians Of The Galaxy A release date for Guardians Of The Galaxy's physical version popped up at GameStop and could point to when Guardians Of The Galaxy will launch this year It looks like we may have a timeline for when to expect Guardians Of The Galaxy to release; or at least the first episode of the season. It looks like there was yet another screw up over at GameStop and the release date for Telltale Games' physical version of the series popped up online. Given how they usually run their releases for digital and physical versions, we may be seeing Guardians Of The Galaxy landing sometime in late March or early April for the digital release as the physical version was listed as April 25th on the site before being pulled back down and hidden again. Guardians Of The Galaxy Has Been Officially Confirmed To Be In The Works
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of December 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Guardians Of The Galaxy The rumors of Guardians Of The Galaxy being in the works from Telltale have been confirmed and we'll see Guardians Of The Galaxy sometime next year And just like that all of the Guardians Of The Galaxy rumors were true as it looks like the game is officially in development and slated to hit sometime next year. I'm going to go on a limb and say that Telltale Games is going to aim for a May release for the game as it would sync up with Marvel on the film's release but as the two are not connected outside of characters they may go down a different path. None the less, we have a Guardians Of The Galaxy game coming from Telltale and we also have a nice little teaser for it all. Read More...

It Looks Like That Telltale & Marvel Deal Could Be A Guardians Of The Galaxy Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of November 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Marvel New documents point to that Marvel and Telltale collaboration to be bringing Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy to a system near you in 2017 If you put on your "way back" hat you may remember the announcement that Marvel and Telltale Games were going to be working together to bring us a new story set in the massive universe they have to play in. Nothing was set in stone or defined out at that time outside of the plan to bring whatever title the two were working on to market in 2017. That year is closely approaching and we still have not heard which Marvel IP this could be revolving around or any real update to it all. Read More...

Telltale Games Will Be Bringing Us A Game Based On A Marvel IP
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of April 2015 - 01:00 PM ]
Telltale Games has announced that they will be teaming up with Marvel for a game series in 2017 Time for the internet to explode as Telltale Games is teaming up with Marvel to bring us all a game series based on something based in their universe. That being Marvel's universe and not Telltale's The Walking Dead, Game Of Thrones, or Minecraft universes that they are currently working on. There is now clue yet as to what could be in the works between the two but given the history of Marvel and Telltale we can hopefully expect greatness. We may also be able to expect something along the lines of the TV/Game hybrid that Lionsgate has signed a deal for with the developer. Read More...

New Batman: Arkham City Easter Egg Three Years In The Waiting
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of November 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Another hidden Batman: Arkham City Easter Egg from Calendar Man has been solved by some eagle eyed and brilliant fan of the franchise If you though that you have 100% completely found all the hidden secrets of Batman: Arkham City or just found everything then you are going to be in for a shock. It looks like there is a new Easter Egg from Calendar Man that pretty much everyone has missed up until RockSteady Games began posting hints and clues to something missed. It only took three years now but it looks like there is a 13th conversation from the villain outside of what was required to get the Trophy/Achievement for talking to the character over the course of the year. For those who may not know, during Batman: Arkham City on specific real world dates the villain Calendar Man said something new around the events or holiday involved for the date. Read More...

Announced during a presentation at NYCC a Mortal Kombat X comic book was announced to be coming from DC Entertainment We still have to wait until April 14th of 2015 to get our hands on Mortal Kombat X but we may only have a few months to wait to start getting some of the new story for the game and its new characters. It was announced at NYCC that DC Entertainment is working on a Mortal Kombat X comic book that will cover all the ins and outs of what lead up to the game's main story line. The Evil Within Is Getting A Prequel In Comic Form
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
The horror game The Evil Within is getting a prequel comic from Titan Comics. The Evil Within isn't even out yet nor is it a large franchise yet and we are already getting a prequel comic book to go along with the game. It looks like Bethesda and Tango Gameworks are really behind this project to have green-lit this comic from Titan Comics. That would be the people behind the Doctor Who comics and the DmC comic. I guess that is a bit of good news to all of us wondering but only time will tell. Read More...

Review: Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of October 2013 - 03:04 PM ]
Here we are five titles into the franchise and we are now getting the ability to manipulate some of our favorite characters and worlds with Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure. While personally I would have preferred a Marvel version, beggars can't be choosers when given the opportunity to rewrite, create, and travel to all of the famous locations in "nerd" history. As should be obvious, I had a chance to get down and dirty with Scribblenauts Unmasked on the PC and I am going to break it down for you to let you know if you should spend the time and money for the game. The Story After all of their fun adventures before, Maxwell and his sister Lilly are having a normal dispute on who is the best DC character. Read More...

Big Surprise... Lex Luthor In Injustice: Gods Among Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of January 2013 - 06:59 PM ]
As it should come as no surprise, Lex Luthor has joined the roster for NetherRealm's upcoming Injustice: Gods Among Us. Why would he not have been in the game with his Superman/Meta-human hate speech? It makes sense. But either way, with the below trailer he has been officially added to the "Gods Among Us." Like the pun? Outside of that, there doesn't seem to be much more for the title here at all. Read More...

Sounds Like Batman Knows What's Going On In Injustice: Gods Among Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of September 2012 - 06:04 PM ]
So details about the story of Injustice have been sparse and they still are. Even the full character roster has still not fully been disclosed. But there has been a lot of fun game play since the announcement and first public showing. Now that TGS is in full swing, it would make sense that there is a new trailer for the game. So you shall see that and a few new screen shots below. But before you dig in there is something I want to bring attention to. Read More...

Cat Woman Joins The Cast Of Injustice: Gods Among Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of August 2012 - 06:14 PM ]
Well this was pretty much expected. Cat Woman has just been confirmed as a new playable character for Injustice: Gods Among Us and below is a video showcasing what she can do and take in the game. As is to be expected she is fast, agile and able to whip the other characters from DC universe into shape. That is if she is not trying to kill them with cheesy one-liners of the feline nature instead. I will say that I am a bit curious by the fact that she has an RPG as an attack in the game given all of the other things they could have used. Read More...

Deadpool Is Finally Getting His Own Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of July 2012 - 01:13 PM ]
He's been featured in a few games and has mostly been used for cameos, but now the 'merc with a mouth' is finally getting his own shot at video game stardom. That's right, Deadpool has been officially announced and the game is coming. Don't fully believe it yet? Then go ahead and check out the announcement trailer that snuck in at the San Diego Comic Con last week. Hopefully that will prove more to you. Don't be too surprised with the lack of any real substance being shown here though. Read More...

Review: Spider-Man: Edge Of Time
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of October 2011 - 04:30 PM ]
Just in the nick of time, Spider-Man is back in another game for us to take on the many comic book villains who plague New York in Spider-Man: Edge Of Time. While not a direct sequel to last year's Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, it does have at least two of the dimensions represented and makes reference to the "Other Guys" from the game. That said, does SM: EoT reach or beat the bar that was set last year? We'll let's see. Read More...

Review: X-Men: Destiny
by Corey Dockendorf [ Tuesday, 18th of October 2011 - 01:55 PM ]
I am both a fan of X-men and comic books in general. I have many fond memories of playing the four-player, beat-em up style Konami arcade game back in the 80's and I have spent more than a few hours playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 with my buddies. Silicon Knights' newest title, X-Men: Destiny, should have been a no-brainer - backed by such a great concept as it boasted being the next great brawling action game where you could create the mutant you always believed should be in this universe. Unfortunately due to its execution, the game becomes really diluted, which knocks it down a few notches on the likeability scale. Before the game starts, the game will ask you to choose one of three distinct characters - each with their own minor story line. Read More...
