Gwent Our first look at Gwent: The Witcher Card Game's Nilfgaard is here as the faction has now joined Gwent in an official capacity for those in the beta The time has come and Gwent: The Witcher Card Game has received its most recent update. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 30th of January 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Gwent A new content update for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game's beta is coming next week and will bring the Nilfgaard faction to Gwent in the process Gwent: The Witcher Card Game may still be in a closed beta setting here but it looks like the updates for the game's content will not be missing out on major things while we are getting prepped for the full release. As it looks, we will be seeing yet another faction coming to the game from CD Projekt RED here soon just as was promised and mentioned a few times in the past. Yes, this means that the Nilfgaard are finally getting the faction play in Gwent that fans have been asking for since well before the beta went live. Read More...

Learn The Basics On How To Play Gwent: The Witcher Card Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of January 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Gwent Since Gwent: The Witcher Card Game has undergone a few changes recently in the beta it may be time to relearn Gwent in preparation for its upcoming release Since the beta for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game kicked off last year we've seen a few things get changed up and reworked to make sure the game is at its best that it can be. It really is what CD Projekt RED is going for here instead of the usual demo hidden as a beta thing that most other companies go for when they really just want to hype a game or test their servers before launch. That all said, we've seen changes that some love and other disagree with but for those who are still not in or playing the beta currently, you may need a breakdown for how Gwent is played here as it is a bit different than its original inception back in The Witcher 3. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of January 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Gwent A new web app lets you build your own Gwent: The Witcher Card Game cards for fun or to use in your own Gwent decks for home use If you are such a fan of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game that even the beta isn't enough to hold you over until the full release then there is a new website just for you. A new site that lets you build your own cards for your own version of Gwent but not the one official one that CD Projekt RED is building for us. You probably just lost a little excitement here but at least this Gwent Editor will allow you to build some custom decks just for personal use or just entertainment. Read More...

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game Is Shaking Up Player Progression A Bit Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of December 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Gwent A new player progression system is coming to Gwent: The Witcher Card Game with the next patch update and it aims to mix up the Gwent leveling system in a good way If you are already playing in the Gwent: The Witcher Card Game beta then get ready to see things get changed up a bit yet again. Of course this is something we should always be ready for when in a beta and especially here as CD Projekt RED is looking to give us the best version of this little game that they can and are not married to many of the gameplay designs yet. This is a good thing before you get on a high horse about your Gwent never staying the same. Read More...

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game's Player Progression Has Been Explained A Bit More
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of November 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Gwent New details on Gwent: The Witcher Card Game's player progression system have been revealed and it looks like players who can't play Gwent non-stop won't be penalized too much The closed beta for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is fully underway and has been for some time. Maybe you made it in or maybe you didn't. Either way that doesn't mean that there aren't some sweet card battles going on and that CD Projekt RED isn't taking all of the feedback given to help make this title the best version it can be. I personally thought that what we had in the original mini-game of Gwent was amazing but this full version is adding on a lot of extras to make it more than just a card game and something we all want to keep progressing through at the end of the day. Gwent: The Witcher Card Game's Closed Beta Has Been Delayed But Dated
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Gwent The closed beta date for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game has been pushed off from the original timeline but now we have a solid date for Gwent's closed beta now I hope you weren't sitting around waiting to find out the specific date in September you might be able to give Gwent: The Witcher Card Game a play. If you were then you are going to be let down or left wanting as CD Projekt RED has just stated that they are going to have to delay the closed beta of the game and, most likely, the final release as well. At least it is safe to assume that the full release of Gwent will also be hit with the same delay as I am sure they are going to want to make sure they can get as much testing in before it goes to market; especially based on their reasons for the delay. E3 Hands On â Gwent: The Witcher Card Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of June 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Gwent While at E3 I was able to see Gwent: The Witcher Card Game in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. We all demanded it and not we are getting Gwent: The Witcher Card Game as a standalone title to play and experience outside of the core game that spawned it. Of course CD Projekt RED could have taken the easy way out and just ported the basic game over to appease the fans but instead they went all out and brought a fully redesigned version of the game for us. The core mechanics are still there but this version of Gwent has a lot more to offer than just fun times and collecting cards. Read More...

We'll Sacrifice More Than Time For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
The launch trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been released in preparation for the game's release date that is less than twenty four hours from now In less than twenty four hours from this posting literally over a million gamers will be enjoying The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. At least enjoying it as CD Projekt RED is hoping. Some may love it and some may hate it but none the less that wait is over for the game and we can see how it stood up through the massive development time it has taken. I know I am in the 'stoked' category for The Witcher 3 but many may still be on the fence. Read More...

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Will Give You A Night To Remember
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of May 2015 - 03:00 PM ]
A launch cinematic trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been released and it is as impressive as the game itself looks to be Next week is the big week for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. That of course being the week the rest of the world will be able to experience the game on their PS4, Xbox One, or PC. I am sure that CD Projekt RED has to be on pins and needles right now even though the first waves of reviews have been generally positive for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. For most developers this would generally mean sitting back on their laurels and waiting to see how the masses accept their game but instead we have an insanely high quality launch cinematic from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that shows off the quality we've heard and seen up to date. More Bloody Combat For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt To Impress With
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the Xbox One has been released to let us all compare between platforms now We have seen a whole lot of footage for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. CD Projekt RED has shown off quite a bit up to now and so far things have been overly impressive and it is no question as to why the game has over one million pre-orders already slated for May 19th. We've seen The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt played on PC as well as PS4 but until now we have yet to see it running on the Xbox One. Not that the game wasn't scheduled for it from day one but there just hasn't been a good public showing on that platform…wait for it…until now. Read More...

Rage & Steel Will Help You Prevail In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of May 2015 - 03:00 PM ]
Yet another trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been released to show off the beauty and brutality of the game's combat We've seen a bunch on the monsters and gameplay for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt this week already so why not blow it out with another great look at the combat for the game. Of course that is what CD Projekt RED has done or we wouldn't have had anything to bring up again for The Witcher 3. Not only that but now we have an epic look at how the combat will ebb and flow in the final game and not just when out killing monsters. In fact in this latest video we seem to be killing more and more humans or humanoids in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt than previously explained. Read More...

More Gameplay For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt To Shake Sticks At
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of May 2015 - 03:00 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the PS4 has been shown off as well as a look at more of the combat in the game There would be no doubt, if there was, that we are getting close to the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. CD Projekt RED is flooding us with more and more of the gameplay and creature looks than we can shake sticks at. Odd phrase I know but go with it. None the less we have the first bit of PS4 gameplay to look at now and it still feels like we have seen so very little of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt so far. Read More...
