This Week In Video Games 5/14/18 â 5/18/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of May 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It sure has been one exciting week in video games here and there was so much to cover I did not think we would get to it all. Thankfully, we did and nothing much was left on the cutting room floor. From all the new RAGE 2 announcements and gameplay to the first look at the next Call Of Duty things ran rather high all week. We even were able to see more for Agony and see a whole new survival game with Green Hell. Read More...

Metro Exodus Has Been Delayed Just A Bit But It Could Be A Good Thing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of May 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Metro Exodus A slight delay for Metro Exodus is set out there and now we will not be seeing Metro Exodus until early 2019 instead of late 2018 Do not expect to see Metro Exodus anytime this year, at least in its final form, as it has now been quietly delayed. I say quietly as there was not a huge announcement or statement out there from 4A Games or Deep Silver on it not hitting the PS4, Xbox One, or PC in late 2018 and now aiming for Q1 2019. No, this update was kind of slipped into the middle of the full statement on the parent company's earnings report. Something that a casual fan who is excited for Metro Exodus may have missed but, thankfully, you have us out there skimming through it all and catching it. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/7/18 â 5/11/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of May 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Mark one more week of video games down with so many more to go. At least as long as the world keeps spinning and we have developers out there still creating. We could all die in a fire here soon and end up in a realm like Agony has for us after all. That would not be the way we should want to go, if at all, when we have titles like Red Dead Redemption 2, Days Gone, and Jurassic World Evolution to keep us all entertained and having a good time in the land of the living. by Julia Thompson [ Tuesday, 1st of May 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
The Forest A full release of The Forest is here and it comes with a lot of new updates as well as a VR mode for The Forest coming soon after The wait is all but over to get a full version of The Forest out to us as the game has now left Early Access and heading to a full release. At least in terms of the PC version of the game as Endnight Games has not mentioned when the full release will be coming to the PS4. Either way, The Forest is coming and in its final-ish form as the developer claims to still be wanting to add things in and other major updates. We will all have to wait and see how that truly goes. This Week In Video Games 4/23/18 â 4/27/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That is one more week of video games in the bag and it was, as we assumed, a little on the light side of things. I do not think anyone really wanted to go up against the power of God Of War. Well, except Tomb Raider that just had a nice new reveal for the game. It was more on the smaller or indie video games for the week but we did get to see that Jurassic World Evolution will be bringing a bit more of the franchise with it and more for Detroit: Become Human. Wild West Online Is Leaving Early Access Real Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Wild West Online It has been announced that Wild West Online will be leaving Early Access and coming to a full release with Wild West Online getting some extras added in The time has come as Wild West Online will be leaving the Early Access state on Steam here on May 10th. Not because it is being removed from the service but because it is finally coming in its almost final form. I say almost final because it is an MMO and 612 Games can keep the changes going well after the release and so Wild West Online can keep up with all of the other games in the similar design. It will be an undertaking but it will be giving us all that extra Westworld feel as we can run around and do all of those old west things some may have dreamt of. Read More...

Adventure Time A new gameplay trailer for Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion is here and we get another look at how this title will expand the world of Adventure Time The first gameplay trailer for Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion is now here to entice us all to head back to the Land of Ooo and tackle the high seas of the world. It has been a good bit of time since Climax Studios and Outright Games has given us anything to look at for the game, but now we have some solid gameplay to look at. The Iron Spider Is Coming To Spider-Man As The Second Pre-Order Suit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Spider-Man The second Spider-Man suit we can pick up has been shown off and now Spider-Man is further connected to Infinity War with the Iron Spider We now know the second of the three pre-order suits coming to Spider-Man and it should come as no surprise that it will be the Iron Spider suit. Given that Avengers: Infinity War is just about to release and going to be part of the huge hype train for a bit well after, it would make perfect sense that Insomniac Games would go down this path. While the Iron Spider suit is not something new just for the film, this version of the suit will be based on the version Spider-Man will wear in the film. Again, not the biggest of shocks there as it was pretty much assumed back when the pre-order details were first let loose and then the timing of all of the other announcement that were to come. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of April 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
H1Z1 The original standalone battle royale game, H1Z1, is coming to the PS4 soon and there will be a closed beta for H1Z1 coming this May For those PS4 gamers out there who felt like they have been missing out on the H1Z1 fun and need another Battle Royale title to add into the mix, as it is getting closer to a full launch now on the platform. I say this as Daybreak Games has not announced a solid release date for the game to come, but we have open and closed betas coming at us here real soon so we should expect a final build just around the corner. At least if this version of H1Z1 goes anything like the PC version. Read More...
