by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of January 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Perception First-person horror game Perception has just been slated to hit the PS4 as Perception is also slated for a release sometime this year Here we go with yet another video game that you may or may not remember is in the works but is getting an update and that title would be Perception. This would be the game that hit Kickstarter back in 2015 to help get The Deep End Games some funds to build and prosper. It is also the horror game that has us playing as a blind girl who has to use echolocation to move around the game's world to stay alive from all of the supernatural horrors dwelling within now. Now do you remember Perception or do you still need more? Read More...

This Week In Video Games 1/9/17 â 1/13/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of January 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site I don't think there is a gamer out there that can claim this wasn't a huge week for all things video games. There was something for everyone this week; even though some of the news was a sad note for a huge portion of gamers out there. With this I am talking about the cancellation of Scalebound, but at least we had all kinds of great news for the Nintendo Switch, For Honor, and Resident Evil 7 to name a few. We are getting into a lot of fun waters here and a lot of great titles are on their way so we know that things should be getting crazier here. Read More...

Horizon Zero Dawn's World And Story Has Been Expanded Even Further Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of January 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn A new cinematic trailer for Horizon Zero Dawn has been released to show off more story for Horizon Zero Dawn as well as enemies and allies Up until now we've pretty much seen the same bit of Horizon Zero Dawn over and over. We get Aloy running around and hunting in the same general section of the world that Guerrilla Games has put together for us and her to explore. I know I was personally getting a little tired of it and concerned for Horizon Zero Dawn as it looks like this was more or less the bread and butter of the game. Especially when we see that February 28th is quickly approaching and so little had been shown off for the game so far in terms of story, other parts of the world, and if there would be any other enemies and major NPCs for Aloy to interact with instead of the few that we've had since E3 of 2016. Guardians Of The Galaxy Could Be Landing As Soon As April
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of January 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Guardians Of The Galaxy A release date for Guardians Of The Galaxy's physical version popped up at GameStop and could point to when Guardians Of The Galaxy will launch this year It looks like we may have a timeline for when to expect Guardians Of The Galaxy to release; or at least the first episode of the season. It looks like there was yet another screw up over at GameStop and the release date for Telltale Games' physical version of the series popped up online. Given how they usually run their releases for digital and physical versions, we may be seeing Guardians Of The Galaxy landing sometime in late March or early April for the digital release as the physical version was listed as April 25th on the site before being pulled back down and hidden again. Scalebound Has Been Officially Cancelled By Microsoft Studios
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of January 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Scalebound After being a staple title at conventions it looks like Scalebound has been given the axe as Microsoft has cancelled Scalebound officially now I hope you weren't too invested in the Scalebound hype that had been pushed out there since its first announcement back in 2014 as it looks like the game is now dead and cancelled. It is official from Microsoft Studios that they have decided to end production on the game to focus on other titles that are still slated for 2017. This is also after opting to delay Scalebound back in 2016 to give Platinum Games more time to bring us the game that was envisioned and also shown off at the many gaming conventions since it was announced. Let's Scan Some More Horizon Zero Dawn Screenshots Before Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of January 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn A new batch of Horizon Zero Dawn screenshots have dropped as a nice gift before Horizon Zero Dawn and for the new year In just about two months now we will be getting to load up Horizon Zero Dawn on our PS4s and a lot of us couldn't be more excited. Not only does the game look great but it is a new IP from Guerrilla Games and we all know we need more of those as rehashing the same old will keep the industry truly stagnant. Of course, just being new isn't something that will make Horizon Zero Dawn sell but it is something that we always enjoy sinking our gaming teeth into. Even if we've seen similar types of games and stories like this out there. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site We did it. We made it not only to the end of another week in video games but the end of the year in video games as well. It was one hell of a ride and thankfully we were able to get us all through it. There was also a lot of interesting news for both Assassin's Creed and For Honor as well as some for all of those PC gamers out there playing on Windows 10. Read More...

The Obligatory 2016 Video Games Year In Review List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of December 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Video Games There were a lot of video games that came out in 2016 and we tried to review as many video games as we could. Here's a recap of them all The year is finally over and there were a lot of great video games that came out. There were also a lot of shitty ones in the mix as well. Just like every year there were all over the place and we had a chance to give a good chunk of them all a play and thus a review. Hells, we even had some movies based on video games mixed in to add an extra level of interest here. It of course isn't a list of all video games that came out this year but it is a list of what we had to experience over here in our little part of the world. Read More...

The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Ties That Bind Part II. This is the second episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did Thankfully there was no real down time between the first episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and the second. That is outside of the time required to download the content as Telltale Games did give us some back to back work here. Hopefully it is a taste of things to come with all of their IPs but for now we are here to focus on The Walking Dead. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/19/16 â 12/23/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of December 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site It sure has been one cray week here for all of our video games; not like this isn't almost always the case. Generally this is when it all slows down and everyone is grasping for something to bring you. Hells, I've seen short tweets make headline news around the web during this time and we've tried to not dig into all of that. Instead we just dug in and were still able to find some great updates for Resident Evil and Watch Dogs 2 for you. Read More...
