by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This has been one fun week in video games hasn't it been? All sorts of new information came out and we had a few nice little opinion pieces to think about. Mix in the showcase of both Call Of Duty: WWII and then Injustice 2 and we had a lot to take in. Not to mention the bigger things as Friday The 13th: The Game and Perception getting a solid release date set down. So many great games are coming to our PS4, Xbox One, and PC here real soon. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of April 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Perception The release date for Perception has finally been set and we get a bunch of new looks at Perception as we have to wait another month now The wait is almost over as the big question for Perception has now been answered. That question being "when will we actually get to play this game?" It is answered now as The Deep End Games has given us such a date to look to and get ready to see the game on our PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Keep an eye out as now it looks like Perception is coming to us all on May 30th now. Of course I say now as in this is the first date we've been given to look forward to and not that the game has been delayed. Read More...

Night Trap Is Getting A Re-Release On The PS4 & Xbox One Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Night Trap Even with the failed Night Trap Kickstarter from years ago, it looks like Night Trap is getting a re-release for the current gen consoles sometime soon Well mark this in one that came out of left field, but it looks like we are getting a re-release for Night Trap only 25 years after it started a weird thing. The weird thing being the ERSB and such but let's skip that and move onto the announcement that Limited Run Games and Screaming Villains are putting the game together again for all of us to enjoy or see what the camp 90's horror game had for us all. I am sure all of you youngling’s here have no clue what Night Trap but it is something to be excited for as it jumps from the Sega CD over to the PS4 and Xbox One sometime soon. Read More...

Watch The Big Call Of Duty: WWII Gameplay Reveal Right Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of April 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The huge Call Of Duty: WWII reveal is finally here. We have you covered with the live stream of the Call Of Duty event The day is here and the time is now for the huge Call Of Duty: WWII reveal that we've all been promised. There have been a few minor "leaks" on things already but nothing too huge for what Sledgehammer Games has put together for us in this new installment of the game. We all know that Call Of Duty: WWII is poised to take us back to the roots of the franchise and it has been a welcomed idea so far since Activision put the teaser out there. None the less, and leaks aside, we still don't know much about this title outside of the given content that comes with every version of the game. Read More...

Let Us Talk About Addiction And Video Games
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 24th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Video Games All of us can be addicted to video games so let's discuss the Neil Robertson case and video games A news story that’s been popping up all day is of former world Snooker champion Neil Robertson’s addiction to video games. Some games like Dark Souls do have a strange addictive tendency with the rewarding sensation giving to a player after a long hard fought victory. I’m not a student of psychology though and this topic has been brought up enough over the years I have looked into it. My conclusion is that it’s not the video games that are addicting; it’s generally dependent on the type of person you are. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 4/17/17 â 4/21/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of 2017's video games in the bag and as it has seemed every week so far, it was a huge one. So many things popped up and so many things have yet to be discussed on the site here. We saw a whole lot more for Injustice 2's fighters, we're getting ever so ready for Prey, There was a whole lot for Friday The 13th, and then we had the Call Of Duty: WWII bombshell dropped. All of which means that next week is going to be pretty much off the hook when it comes to all things video games. Read More...

Things Seem To Be Changing For Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Ancestors It looks like Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is no longer set to be episodic and it is going to let us dictate how our Ancestors came to be Just about two years ago we had a tease for a new game called Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. This was the new project that Patrice Desilets (Assassin's Creed) and team over at Panache Digital Games was working on that would take us on a third-person action-adventure through the process of human evolution. All done in a form of a documentary of sorts as we watch and help guide our Ancestors through everything from the very beginning of it all to our current age. All in an episodic form that was assumed to have each major era be a different episode. Read More...

Call Of Duty Is Going Back To Its Roots With Call Of Duty: WWII
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of April 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The next Call Of Duty title has been officially announced and we are going back to the franchise's roots with Call Of Duty: WWII Back at the beginning of the year we had a nice little tease on what to expect for the next edition of the Call Of Duty franchise. There was a lot of speculation and thoughts that Sledgehammer Games hid clues in said teaser but it was all guessing and nothing completely solid as of yet. Yet being the key word here as Activision has announced today that we will be getting Call Of Duty: WWII as our next major title in the franchise and that it all will be going back to its roots as it were. I'm guessing just in terms of the era but there could be much more than that I guess. Read More...

Will Blood Be Thicker Than Water In The Walking Dead: A New Frontier
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of April 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The fourth episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier has been given a release date and it looks like we'll be back in The Walking Dead a lot sooner than we thought Talk about a turnaround for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and how Telltale is going to bring it to us as it looks like the fourth episode of the game will be out on April 25th now. Yes, that is only a few days away from right now and it brings them back on par with how they have been handling many of their other recent titles. I won't lie that I was a bit let down with the three month gap from the two episode premiere of this season of The Walking Dead but hopefully this will stay the trend for Telltale Games as we press forward with this IP and all the others they are bringing us. This Week In Video Games 4/10/17 â 4/14/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with one more week of video games in the bag. As it seems every week for quite some time now, it too was a pretty solid week in news and updates for us over here. We had a massive drop of information for Injustice 2, a lot more gameplay for Prey and Outlast 2, and then there was the plethora of reviews again with Bulletstorm getting into the mix there. These were only a small taste of the video games we had a chance to get to as well, but that is how these weeks seem to usually go. Read More...

Review â She Remembered Caterpillars
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 10th of April 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
She Remembered Caterpillars We sit down and review She Remembered Caterpillars. Beautiful, but lacking in fun. Here's our review of She Remembered Caterpillars She Remembered Caterpillars is an indie puzzle game that was released at the beginning of the year that I only recently discovered. It is developed Jumpsuit Entertainment, a small German team, and as far as I can see this is the team's first game together. I felt like it could do with a review. The gameplay for She Remembered Caterpillars isn’t anything special. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This has sure been some amazing week for video games now hasn't it? Not only for the industry but also for us over here as it was another heavy review week with things from Horizon Zero Dawn to The Walking Dead and a few others in between. We also had a lot of cool things to see for Injustice 2 again and more for Prey as both of those titles get even closer to releasing next month. More video games to play and not enough time to do it.
