Black Mirror Is Getting Rebooted & Coming This November
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of August 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Black Mirror Old games die-hard as Black Mirror is getting a reboot of sorts and we can all look to see Black Mirror release this coming November I hope you are ready for another reboot to come your way this year as Black Mirror has just been announced to be heading our way to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC here in November. This isn't something tied to the Netflix show as THQ Nordic has made perfectly clear, but a whole new-ish title form KING Art Games that will slightly build off the previous titles in the same IP. Why they didn't go with a Black Mirror IV to keep the whole thing going, I don't know, but this is how it is and fans of the old point-and-click horror title can look to have a whole new experience coming their way. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Is Bringing Double The Trouble
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of August 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Wolfenstein Another video for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is here and it delves more into the weaponry of Wolfenstein II and how it has changed since the last game Here we go with another update for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and this time we are digging into the weapons and new systems that we will get to use to take down all of those Nazis that have occupied the United States in the fictional setting that Machine Games has crafted for us. It's no big surprise that we are going to get to dual-wield firearms again, nor is it all that much of a surprise that we will get to dual-wield different weapons in the game to keep things playing as we wish to. Wolfenstein II is going to have a lot of Nazis in there and we are going to need to kill them all as best we can to save the country and restore the proper government again. Read More...

Prepare For War As Call Of Duty: WWII's Private Beta Kicks Off
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of August 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The private beta for Call Of Duty: WWII's multiplayer is about to start and here is what will be coming for Call Of Duty: WWII to be tested out I am hoping that you are ready to kick some Nazi ass here soon as Call Of Duty: WWII is about to unleash its multiplayer beta on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in just a short amount of time. While Sledgehammer Games has been hard at work making this another great entry into the franchise, they need help making sure it is a multiplayer experience you want and that Activision was able to secure a few more purchases by setting up a private beta as such for those who pre-ordered the game already. Pretty much in all other Call Of Duty fashion here and to give players a taste of what is to come. Read More...

Moons Of Madness Will Be Testing Your Sanity Next Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of August 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Moons Of Madness A new horror title, Moons Of Madness, has been announced and it looks like Moons Of Madness will mix science with Lovecraftian horror when it launches If you've been hoping to go back into a space or other-world setting but also have that horror aspect mixed in, then you'll be glad to see that Moons Of Madness has just been announced and heading to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. It may not be exactly what you have been looking for recently, but it does look like Rock Pocket Games is going to try to give you some great scares while placing you in an unfamiliar setting to add to it all. Moons Of Madness is being slated as a Lovecraftian Horror in terms of horror and it looks to be taking place on Mars also. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/7/17 â 8/10/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another week has come and gone and we had even more to talk about in the world of video games than was expected. At least expected by me as we are getting close to the next big gaming conventions out there and you'd think that all the studios and publishers would be holding back. Then again, we have some great titles like Assassin’s Creed Origins and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus coming up and we need to talk about those video games for sure. Then mix in some extra coverage on SDCC that we've been working on getting out to you and a few new reviews and I guess I can see how we made it a pretty hectic week again. Read More...

Review â Batman: The Enemy Within â The Enigma
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Batman We sit down and review Batman: The Enemy Within — The Enigma. This is the first episode of Telltale's second take on the Batman franchise. Here's our review on how they did He we go with another trip into Gotham as the first episode of Batman: The Enemy Within has just dropped and is continuing the story mostly where we left off. That story being however you left Gotham after the events of the first time Telltale Games brought us this fun. All with the extra level of madness Batman usually brings out in the world and he is doing it in spades here yet again. Read More...

Q.U.B.E. 2 Has Been Announced To Bring Us More Of The Amazing Franchise Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of August 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Q.U.B.E. A sequel to the amazing Q.U.B.E. title has been announced and we can look to be back in the saddle with Q.U.B.E. 2 next year It's been a long time coming, but Q.U.B.E. 2 has been announced and is in development to carry the whole IP along into the next generation. That sounds like a bad 80s slogan; I know. That doesn't change the fact that Toxic Games is working on a new title here and bringing us all more of the weird puzzle solving and death-defying gameplay that won many awards. All souped up with new technology as Q. Read More...

Giant Consequences Are Coming For Minecraft: Story Mode's Next Episode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Minecraft The trailer for the next episode of Minecraft: Story Mode has been released and it looks to be filled with even more Minecraft references as we enter the arena We have a new trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode next episode to look at and try to figure out what is going on after the events of the last one. It has been an interesting trip for Jesse and crew and they were all left in a very bad place after all was said and done. A traditional cliffhanger that we know from Telltale Games here so not too shocking, but it does look like they are taking us off into whole new worlds and events set forth by The Admin that was shown off in the last episode of Minecraft: Story Mode. Put Your Trust In Brother With Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of August 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Wolfenstein A new propaganda video for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus has been released to give us yet another feel for Wolfenstein II's Nazi occupied America We had a whole lot of gameplay for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus last week and thankfully, so far, it seems like Bethesda has not come out firing off with more here this week. Yet. I must stress yet as it feels like they are trying to get a whole lot of the game out there and in our eyes as Machine Games wraps up the work on it. Read More...

Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds Will Be Coming Our Way This November
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of August 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn The release date for Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds has been set and now we can get ready for this new Horizon Zero Dawn expansion just before the holidays We all had a nice and small taste for Horizon Zero Dawn's upcoming expansion, The Frozen Wilds back at E3 when it was all first shown off. If you missed it, I've included the trailer that was shown off for it to let us all know that this PS4 game was getting a nice, new, big expansion. The only drawback was that the 'when' was never set down which had a lot of us Horizon Zero Dawn fans out there wondering when we can get our hands on it and explore the new locales and such. Game On As The Riddler Is Here To Terrorize In Batman: The Enemy Within
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Batman The first episode of Batman: The Enemy Within has been released just in time to show us how dark this new season for Batman will be here With Batman: The Enemy Within's first episode dropping this week, I guess it is a good time to have a look at the latest trailer for the episode and see just what we could be in store for the whole ride. If anything, just what Telltale Games may have for us in the first installment of this continuation of the altered universe cannon we've had so far. Seeing as the first season's choices for Batman will be carried over and they did a few things that the comics have yet to do, I'm going to just assume this is all non-cannon for the official comic line. Review â Copoka
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 7th of August 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Copoka We sit down and review Copoka. A little bird in a big world. Here's our review of Copoka Sometimes it is nice to play a game and just relax and that is what I was able to do with Copoka. No worry about a convoluted story or high impact action where you stick behind a wall while explosions happen every ten seconds. Copoka was even marketed as a “mellow open world exploration game.” This game is pretty short, but is also the length it needs to be to remain enjoyable. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/31/17 â 8/4/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of video games in the bag and there was still so much we didn't get to. Even with it only being SDCC and Animazement being the big conventions that just happened there seems to still be a whole lot of new information and updates out there. More so with Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Agents Of Mayhem, and Observer all just about to release next week and massive info dumps for all of those video games adding on to all of the other things. There is still much more we have to bring you from the conventions that will pick up next week as long as things don't go completely off the rails out there for it all. Read More...

Life Is Strange: Before The Storm Is Showing Just How The Riff For Chloe & David Started
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange A new Life Is Strange: Before The Storm trailer is out now and it shows just how some of Life Is Strange's characters started to hate each other more If you've played Life Is Strange already then you know well about the strained relationship between Chloe and her "new step-douche" David. There is no denying the level of animosity between the two characters and in the new "expansion" that Deck Nine Games is bringing to us all on August 31st we are going to see just a bit more on how all of that grew to where we saw it last. Did any of us think that it all was going to start out well in Life Is Strange: Before The Storm or just be the usual "new man" in mom's life that step-parents usually go through. Read More...

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Takes Us To Roswell & All That Comes With That
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of August 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Wolfenstein A lot of new gameplay for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus has been released and we get to see Wolfenstein's take on Roswell and all the aliens there If there is one thing, we have not been in a drought of gameplay for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. It almost seems like we can't go a full week without some new bit of gameplay for the game getting placed out to excite and titillate. It's almost like Machine Games doesn't want there to be any surprises when Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus launches on October 27th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Then again, this could just be faith in the project that Bethesda has so that we can get almost an hour more of gameplay and still have so much yet to be seen and experienced in the full game.
