E3 2018 Impressions — Just Cause 4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of June 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Just Cause While at E3, I was able to see Just Cause 4 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Just Cause 4. One of the other many titles that could not be kept under wraps for E3 this year was Just Cause 4. Just before the main event kicked off, it was leaked out there that the game was coming but little of anything else. I am sure that Avalanche Studios was thankful for that as it allowed them to still cause a big splash during the show and get fans of the franchise all hyped up for the December 4th release date for the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It also made it easy for Square Enix to slide Just Cause 4 into all of its things out there as well as show a bit more to those of us who were able to go behind some closed doors out at E3. E3 Hands On — Overkill’s The Walking Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead While at E3, I was able to see Overkill’s The Walking Dead in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Overkill’s The Walking Dead. During all of the build-up to E3 we finally had a chance to see some of the gameplay we can expect for Overkill’s The Walking Dead. It was not much, but enough to give a feeling for where Starbreeze could be taking the game and I know I had many speculations on just where it would go. Speculation no more, though, as 505 Games brought me in to actually sit down and give this addition to the The Walking Dead universe that Overkill has been putting together. Read More...

E3 Hands On — Arca’s Path
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of June 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Arca’s Path While at E3, I was able to see Arca’s Path in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Arca’s Path. In the mix of all the hustle and bustle of E3 sometimes you yearn for a break and some other title out there to ground you back out and that was where Arca’s Path comes in here. I am going to go on a limb and say that a lot of you most likely have not heard of the game as of yet but it was on the list of VR titles that I wanted to check out during the show. It is a new title that Dream Reality Interactive has crafted for us and another "smaller" title that Rebellion has put themselves behind to bring to the PSVR, Oculus, and Vive sometime soon. The First Bit Of Gameplay For Overkill’s The Walking Dead Is Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of June 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We finally have our first bit of gameplay for Overkill’s The Walking Dead and it looks like it is a new way to experience The Walking Dead The wait is over and we finally have some gameplay for Overkill’s The Walking Dead to look at instead of all of the amazing little teases and pre-rendered segments we have been given so far. Not that I have not enjoyed what Starbreeze has put together for those little bits, but I know I just want to see what I will be playing for Overkill here and not just the fancy stuff we will not be playing. All without having to wait until November 6th to get to actually see and play this version of The Walking Dead on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

The announcement that Hyperbolic Magnetism will be bringing the game to the platform came out as part of the PrE3 announcements that were coming to the PlayStation. It was also kind of a given that Beat Saber would be heading over as it was originally listed as "coming to consoles" back when we first heard the announcement, but now it is official. At least as official as it can be given that it is still in an Early Access stage for the Oculus and Vive versions for the game that released a little over a month ago. Read More...

Heather Is Here To Round Out The Characters For Overkill’s The Walking Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The fourth and final character for Overkill’s The Walking Dead is now here and we can start to see just how this version of The Walking Dead is shaping up Today marks the day that all of the characters for Overkill’s The Walking Dead have been revealed and now we will hopefully be seeing some actual gameplay or other elements for the game moving forward. Not that I do not enjoy the CGI videos that Overkill has for each of them, but I think it is high time for a look at what we should actually be getting in Fall of 2018. Maybe it is just me? The Tetris Effect Is Going To Be Much More Than Syndrome Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Tetris Effect A new VR title is coming with Tetris Effect and Tetris Effect looks to turn the core gameplay into a 3D, immersive experience The first of the PrE3 announcements that we were promised by Son is here and it all starts off with Tetris Effect. A new title coming from Enhance Experience and looking to take this "effect" and bring it to us all in a new way on the PS4 and PSVR. The Wolf Among Us Season 2 Will Now Be Coming At Us In 2019
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of May 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
The Wolf Among Us The second season of The Wolf Among Us has been delayed until 2019 but this could bring us a better version of The Wolf Among Us franchise The wait is going to continue for those of us out there waiting for a second season to The Wolf Among Us. It looks like Telltale Games is going to be delaying it until 2019 instead of later this year as originally announced. All of which comes from the changes that the developer has undergone since it first announced we were going to see a second season to The Wolf Among Us. It has been about four years since the last episode came out, so what is another six months to a year before we get to see Bigsby and crew back in action? Read More...

Dive Deeper Into Dreams With Some New Gameplay Video
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Dreams New footage for Dreams has been uploaded to show off were the game has evolved to just before E3 so we can get fully prepared for our Dreams there You can tell we are getting closer to E3 as we start to see more gameplay and B-Roll popping up online just as we have here for Dreams today. Although this all seems to come hot on the heels of Media Molecule showing the game off to multiple different outlets out there but also in preparation for E3. Nonetheless, we have more to look at for Dreams here and it truly shows off how pretty much anyone out there will be able to make their own levels and "games" once it all comes to the PS4. There is still no release date for the game but we also have another little update for the game that came along with this gameplay footage. Read More...

Insanity Rules In The First Gameplay For RAGE 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
RAGE The first gameplay for RAGE 2 is here and it looks to outshine the previous RAGE in many different ways from shooter to open-world Just as we were promised, we have the first bit of gameplay for RAGE 2 to gaze upon and so far it does not look like we are going to be let down in the hype arena. Not only that, but it looks like it all also came along with some other news from Bethesda for the game for us all to digest and get amped up for another large showing at E3 this year. Like, for starters, that RAGE 2 will be a collaborated effort between Avalanche Studios and id Software and not just a solo gig. Read More...

Get Ready To Die As RAGE 2 Is Officially Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
RAGE RAGE 2 has been officially announced after many ‘leaks’ and teases for RAGE 2 started to pop up all over the internet with more to come really soon It looks like all of those ‘leaks’ and teases that we saw out there for RAGE 2 over the past week have turned out to be more than wishful thinking for some. It also turns out to be more than a fun bit of marketing that Bethesda has had with it as it turns out that the game is officially in the works and coming to us. I know some of you out there were not happy with the first RAGE title, but we are getting this sequel and it also looks like Avalanche Studios will be taking over to make the game bigger and better. Grant Is Out There Searching For Something In Overkill’s The Walking Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of May 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The third character for Overkill’s The Walking Dead is here and he has a tale to tell that is just as chilling as any story in The Walking Dead The next character for Overkill’s The Walking Dead is here and we get to know a bit more about Grant before we get to see any actual gameplay. Yes, this is a new cinematic trailer for the game that Overkill has put together and does not seem to house any real gameplay. It may not be what you were hoping for just yet for this title in The Walking Dead universe, I know, but it is still something that Starbreeze wanted to have out there as we wait for that fateful date in Fall of this year so we can play the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
