Liminalcore
A demo for Liminalcore is out there to give us all a bit of the fun of Liminalcore before it fully launches before Halloween
You have to love all of the eerie places and environments that came about due to the popularity of the Backrooms, and here we have Liminalcore toying with that just a bit more. At least as it was inspired by the other IP and Shadow Owl Studios took the thoughts and ran with it to give a new horror setting for us to navigate. We can do that either on October 25th when the full version of Liminalcore lands on the PC or with a demo that you can download right now. At least if any of the following piques your interest toward something else haunting for the Halloween season that is almost upon us all.
Now that we have the basics for Liminalcore out of the way, we can look at a bit of the gameplay and just what we are going to be doing in the game. Something that looks like it is going to lead to a whole lot of walking and a whole lot of exploring in the mix of things. We have fallen into another plane of existence out there and one that feels like it was what could have been some kind of waterpark with all of the tubes and ceramic tiles covering everything. Along with many of the other tropes we see in the mascot horror video games in the same vein as Liminalcore. Although, it does not look like we are going to have a massive presence hovering over us and more of our own imagination playing with us as we solve the various things to get back to where we originally came from. Not to mention some beautiful lighting and other features that you can only see in the following video for the game.
Liminalcore — Demo
The demo of Liminalcore, an atmospheric horror exploration game, is now available on Steam.
Liminalcore is an adventure game set in eerie environments inspired by Backrooms lore, where players navigate unsettling, otherworldly architecture that warps reality and tests their sanity.
The full game will be released on Steam on October 25th.
Are you going to give Liminalcore a try or does it feel like another walking simulator to you and not much more? How much will the demo give us all and will it show off the true horrors that are in this place? Will this be more of something in our own heads stalking us out there or will we see some truly dark things in the mix of all the bright whites? Head on down to the comment section to discuss all of this and anything else that does come to your mind. There is still more for Liminalcore to come, I am sure, so please keep on checking back for those updates and the many others that are still to come for all of the video games out there.
