Review — Rise Of The Tomb Raider [PS4]
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of November 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider We sit down and review Rise Of The Tomb Raider. It has finally made it over to the PS4 with all its DLC. Here's our review of Rise Of The Tomb Raider It's been a year and a bunch of DLC packs since Rise Of The Tomb Raider launched on the Xbox One and then the PC. Now we have the game here on the PS4 with all of its DLC and upgrades that have been applied over that year in the form of Crystal Dynamics' definitive edition as it were. It may not have that title but with everything packaged here it surely feels that way. None the less, Square Enix wanted us to join in the twenty year celebration and here we are with our review of Rise Of The Tomb Raider. Read More...

Final Fantasy XV's Nights Will Be Dark And Full Of Terrors
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 31st of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV Even more details for Final Fantasy XV have been revealed and this time we get to see how Final Fantasy XV's magic will work as well as traveling It looks like in all of the excitement of last week's Final Fantasy XV gold announcement that a few things fell through the crack and are just now being picked up. Yes, Square Enix giving us the final date for the game was amazing and so was the new CG trailer for it all but it looks like there were other details on the magic system, nighttime monsters, and travel in the game that were also revealed. So much excitement for Final Fantasy XV and it looks like those visuals overtook the gameplay mechanics yet again. Read More...

It Looks Like All Of Kingdom Hearts Is Back In One Big Package For Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Kingdom Hearts The entire compilation of Kingdom Hearts is heading to the PS4 now as Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX has been announced for March 2017 I knew it was only a matter of time but it looks like Kingdom Hearts is finally making its way to the PS4 and not just Kingdom Hearts III. It looks like Square Enix wants to make sure we all know the story up to now before KH3 lands as we are now getting a new collection and for the PS4. The amazing news here is that it isn't just the two core games but the entire franchise up to now. That's right, here we go with the Kingdom Hearts HD 1. Read More...

Things Get Ominous As Final Fantasy XV Has Gone Gold…But In A Good Way
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV It looks like Final Fantasy XV has gone gold and we get a new trailer for Final Fantasy XV as well as some intel on the upcoming DLC The news has finally come and Final Fantasy XV is now 100% set to release on November 29th for the PS4 and Xbox One. No more delays and Square Enix has given us the solid date now so the long wait is almost over. A few more weeks and we all will have Final Fantasy XV in our hands and see just how the game has truly evolved over the incredibly long development cycle that took it from Versus XIII to where we are now. Let the excitement start to flow in the streets…maybe that was a poor choice of words… To celebrate the announcement of the gold status, we have been given a few things to help ease the waiting period. A Moogle A Day Will Keep The Bad Guys Away In Final Fantasy XV
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV Details and gameplay for Final Fantasy XV's moogles have been released and now we can see how they will aid in Final Fantasy XV's battles If you've been following along with Final Fantasy XV's Moogle campaign you would know that there was a reveal coming for the cute little things in the game. It looks like whatever number Square Enix was trying to get to with the followers, RTs, and everything has been met and now we get to see just how Moogles will be affecting things in the game. Sadly it doesn't mean we are going to get a fully playable Moogle character in Final Fantasy XV but they do look to have some great bonuses mixed in even if they are nothing more than a stuffed animal here. Place Your Bets & Get Read To Race Chocobos In Final Fantasy XV
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV New gameplay footage for Final Fantasy XV's chocobo races has sprung up and it lets us see how Final Fantasy XV will handle them It's been no secret that Final Fantasy XV was going to be bringing back these beloved creatures and that we were going to get to ride them. Hells, Square Enix even made mention before that we were going to get to race them again as we have in past version of the franchise. Mentioned but had yet to fully shown just how it would handle in Final Fantasy XV once it hits the gamer's hands on November 29th. Something all of us care about, or at least hopefully care about, when it comes to our games and such. Read More...

There Have Already Been A Lot Of Final Fantasy XV Fond Memories
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV The final voice cast video for Final Fantasy XV has released and it shows us just what parts of Final Fantasy XV the cast hold dear to themselves It's almost like Square Enix wants to keep teasing us with new stuff for Final Fantasy XV without actually giving us any more than they already have. We have had a few hours worth of gameplay shown off already if we combined all of the footage up to now in one spot. Given that Final Fantasy XV is looking at a long time frame to beat it doesn't seem like they could really show us that much more before November 29th that would spoil it all but I guess that could be a worry over there so we end up where we are right now. Hitman Ends Its First Season On Halloween Night…Or Day
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman The release date for Hitman's season finally has been released and it looks like season one of Hitman ends at the end of October We've been nice and patient and now we are in the home stretch for Hitman's first season as it looks like we only have a few more weeks to wait until we get the whole story and the final episode of the season in our hands. Io Interactive has just revealed the release date for the final episode of the season and now we can look forward to playing it on October 31st. Kind of odd given that this is a Monday but I'm going to go on a limb and say that Square Enix made some kind of deals to put this episode of Hitman in our hands outside of the norm; most likely to be able to get the retail version another push just before the end of November. Death Is Everywhere In Final Fantasy XV & You Can Control It All
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV New gameplay for Final Fantasy XV has popped up and this time we get to see Final Fantasy XV's death spell in action & a new monster It should be no surprise that one of the most powerful spells in the franchise is coming back to Final Fantasy XV. This would be the Death Spell that sung our end or victory so many times in all of the other titles that Square Enix has given us. While the magic system still seems a bit beyond me in Final Fantasy XV it does look like this spell is coming back to the franchise and that we might have a bit more control over how all of it works. Maybe this is one of those things that delayed the game until November 29th or not. Read More...

Final Fantasy VII Remake's Combat Looks The Same But Is Different
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy New gameplay for Final Fantasy VII Remake has surfaced and it looks like Final Fantasy VII's combat system is getting a little bit of an overhaul It has been quite some time since we've had some updates on Final Fantasy VII Remake and how it is coming along. I know Square Enix gave us a nice trailer and all of that about a year ago and there have been peppered bit here and there but nothing solid for a while. They are focusing on Final Fantasy XV right now and the various other titles in the franchise so it makes a little bit of sense but that doesn't change our need and want for new content to look and/or hear about the game. Specifically a release date for it but I'm guessing that will all be in due time. Read More...

We'll Have To Accept The Consequences In World Of Final Fantasy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of September 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy A new story trailer for World Of Final Fantasy has been released and we get more classic Final Fantasy characters and beasts added into the mix It's time to get ready for some more story for World Of Final Fantasy here. Things have seemed a bit few and far between out of Square Enix on all of this but it looks like they were holding back the good stuff until TGS. Now we have more of the story for World Of Final Fantasy in a new trailer and a lot of old characters we will be seeing when we spin up the game on the PS4 or PS Vita on October the 25th. It's already been packed with a lot of good ones from the past and it looks like the true classics are getting mixed into the fun here now. Read More...

Final Fantasy XV Gets Another New Trailer To Showcase The Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of September 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV Another cinematic trailer for Final Fantasy XV has been released for TGS and it shows more of the Final Fantasy XV story than we've already had Not too surprising here but it looks like we have a new trailer for Final Fantasy XV fresh from TGS. As if Square Enix would miss out on showing the game off during the show out there and thankfully they didn't as we have a lot more gameplay and story to look at for the game before its launch on November 29th for the PS4 and Xbox One. Given that Final Fantasy XV is going to be one of the longest story titles to date in the franchise I am certain that we won't get much spoiled here and we'll just have some more badass scenes to see and wait to play in the full title. Let's just hope that there won't be any more delays for the game. Read More...

Rise Of The Tomb Raider Gets More Woman Vs Wild For The New Release
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of September 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider Another episode of Rise Of The Tomb Raider's Woman Vs Wild has been released and shows us how the new Rise Of The Tomb Raider DLC could play out It's been some time since we last saw Rise Of The Tomb Raider's Woman Vs Wild video series out there. I don't think we've seen a new one since Crystal Dynamics released the game on the Xbox One and Xbox 360. Now that Square Enix is bringing Rise Of The Tomb Raider to the PS4 and the DLC to all of the platforms, including PC, here on October 11th I guess it is about time to give us yet another episode of their "behind the scenes" style video. It makes perfect sense and now we have it right here for all of our viewing pleasures. Read More...

Review — Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of September 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Deus Ex We sit down and review Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. The franchise has had time to be "augmented" since the last addition. Here's our review of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided It's been five years since the last title came out and now we get to continue the whole story in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Of course it's not completely the same old story or Adam we've seen before or there would be no reason for us to pick up Eidos-Montreal's new title and Square Enix would be out a whole lot of money; so there is a lot to look at and enjoy. Thankfully, we had a chance to give Deus Ex: Mankind Divided a solid play and now we are here to give you our thoughts on it all. Here's our review of the next big addition to the franchise. Review — Hitman — Bangkok
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of September 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman We sit down and review Hitman — Bangkok. This is the fourth episode of Io Interactive's latest addition to the Hitman franchise. Here's our review on how they did. It's time for our next big trip with Hitman and this time it off to Bangkok for some murderous fun. Io Interactive has place two more marks on the map and we are off to make sure they never see the light of day again. All in a fun setting of a fancy hotel in the exotic lands here. Just like every other episode of Hitman we are given many options to go about it and here we go with how the Square Enix franchise has progressed. Read More...
