With the slew of promotions EA and Visceral Games are doing for this game, (Greedy Checks, Rick Rolling Boxes), what is the actual story behind the game? We all know that it is a loose translation of the famous epic poem The Divine Comedy. You know, the first "mapping" of Hell and in turn leading to a man's persecution, but what is the actual story trying to be told in this throw at the poem? It all started just a little under a year ago. The exploration of terror in space in a nice little title called Dead Space. A game that I reviewed as my game of the year last year. A game that I deemed brought back those feelings of the first time you cracked open Resident Evil on the PlayStation. Just like RE you were left with loads of questions and left wanting more. Dead Space: Extraction comes out this week on the Wii. This Tuesday to be exact. On a system that the core game was never on, only rumored about being on. But at least it is on a system that is made perfectly for a rail-shooter style of game. As the Resident Evil franchise has shown in the past and in the not too far off future. Dante's Inferno: Gluttony Developer's Diary Continuing down the path of Hell from Lust, Visceral Games keeps with their fun and dark developer's diaries. This time they cover the third level, Gluttony. A level that should be as gruesome as the scene from Se7en and starts to look that way with some of the concepts they show in the video. Dante's Inferno Lust We all know the meaning of Lust. We all know what is attributed to this "deadly sin" as well.
