We Sit Down And Review Metro: Last Light Redux. It's only been a Year Since It First Released so did it need the upgrade treatment? Here we go again to enter the Metro for the second time with Metro: Last Light Redux. The fully upgraded version of Metro: Last Light that only hit shelves a little over a year ago. I personally enjoyed the hell out of the game the first go around so it made me wonder if an 'HD Upgrade' was truly needed. I guess I'll get to answer if the latest PS4, XB1, and PC release of the game is worth the price of admission of just another cash grab for fans of the franchise or new players who have yet to experience the fun. Both PS3 and PS4 versions of The Last Of Us are receiving new multiplayer maps for free Naughty Dog has announced that their post-apocalyptic hit The Last Of Us will be getting two free Multiplayer maps for factions mode. The free maps are to make good for the long wait times for matchmaking and will be free for both PS3 and PS4 versions. Naughty Dog’s website thanks fans for their patience and says that working on the matchmaking is their number one priority. Matchmaking issues has been eased a bit due to live updates and patch 1. We Sit Down And Review Metro 2033 Redux. It's been over four years since it first released so how well does it upgrade? When we think of HD re-masters of games we generally look at them as being quick cash grabs instead of allowing the developers to truly show off their vision of the game they originally built. Metro 2033 Redux is another title in the mix that may not have seen the full light due to limitations on hardware on both ends of the spectrum. Directly following Gamescom we have the release of 37 minutes of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gameplay showing off how amazing it looks on the Xbox One There is no doubt that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt looks amazing and looks like it plays amazing. I have yet to actually get hands on with the game. If you were fortunate enough to make it out to Gamescom you may have had a chance to sit down and see the gameplay demo and see firsthand. If not…then you are going to luck out as we have said demo just below for all of you to sit, watch, and enjoy until the withes are done burning. Just about a week now until fans of the franchise can replay both of the amazing titles that have come out in an all new fashion and on the PS4, Xbox One, or their PC again. A new trailer for Metro Redux from Deep Silver and 4A Games has been released showing off all of the updates and comparisons from the original titles Having had a chance to play both titles included in Metro Redux I can attest that both look and play amazing. They both look stunning and all of the minor issues I had with the original titles in terms of gameplay have been tweaked and fixed in this new edition. But of course these are just words on your screen that you are reading and if I know my audience like I think I do, you want to see the proof as well as read my words on the screen. Sony and Naughty Dog just announced The Last of Us: One Night Live event for fans to see things, well, live It shouldn't be a hidden fact that many of us loved The Last Of Us. Hells, I'm included in that list there. It was one of the biggest games of last year and it was so popular that Naughty Dog was already working on bringing it to the PS4 shortly after the PS3 launch. Deep Silver and Keen Games have released a new trailer for Sacred 3 to show off the co-op game play for the game While we may not have any new gameplay footage to show off for the co-op in Sacred 3, Deep Silver has given us a look at how the gameplay could occur in a CGI video filled with carnage and fun. I am guessing that this is to show how the game should be played once you and your friends take it home. That would be something hard to capture without feeling scripted if it was gameplay for sure, but I still would have loved to see more on how the characters work together to lead up to an epic version of "Whack-A-Mole" to score higher than everyone else. A new TV Spot and screenshots for The Last Of Us Remastered give us a look at the upgrades for the game A little while back we had some "leaked" screenshots for The Last Of Us Remastered to look at and see if the up-scaling for the game made things look any better. Well now we have an official trailer for The Last Of Us Remastered as well as quite a few new screenshots for the game and… I am still torn on if I can see any real improvement over the PS3 version to the PS4 version of the game. It is a bit tough to see anything with just stills and the little bit of in-game footage that we do get in this new TV Spot for The Last Of Us Remastered. Woolfe: The Redhood Diaries to be at Gamescom and playable in the consumer area for the first time to the public If Woolfe: The Redhood Diaries sounds familiar but you can't place your finger on it, it was showcased during the ID@Xbox montage during the Microsoft press conference on June 9th. Some of you may have heard about the game before that, have a free cookie, but to the public at large that was one of the largest showcasing of the game to date. It was announced a little under a year ago so it is pretty cool for the developers to get the showing at E3 and now Woolfe is getting a nice playable version at Gamescom. That might not be all that cool for a lot of us who will not be able to make the adventure to Gamescom, assuming most of my readers are in the North American region of course, but that does mean that we will be seeing more video from Woolfe: The Redhood Diaries soon. The release date for Metro Redux has been announced for both the collection and individual titles getting the upscale We had a possible "leak" yesterday for a title I have been excited for but today we have one for Metro Redux; another major thing of excitement for me. It looks like we are all going to get to enter the Metro again August 26th. Or you'll be entering the Metro for your first time in a fully upgraded version of both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light.
