Review: Poker Night At The Inventory 2 (PSN)
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of May 2013 - 09:48 PM ]
It's been a while since we've had a good card game on the PSN. Now, after a little over 2 years, we have the sequel to Poker Night At The Inventory hitting the PSN. It is aptly named Poker Night At The Inventory 2 for those who can't seem to keep up. It was released on every other platform about a week earlier, but I had the opportunity to give it a go when it hit the PS3. Here's what I thought. Hated Oh my gods the loading LAG in the game. New Poker Night From Telltale
by [ Thursday, 4th of April 2013 - 07:09 PM ]
Big news in the world of witty cross-over card game simulators. Telltale Games has recently announced that Poker Night at the Inventory is getting a sequel. According to the Telltale's website, “Poker Night 2 is the unnecessary sequel to Poker Night at the Inventory! In the original game you played poker with a bunch of weirdoes for fame and fortune Team Fortress 2 items and the satisfaction of beating the odds.” The original game had you playing against Max from Sam&Max, Strong Bad from Homestar Runner, The Heavy from Team Fortress 2, and Tycho from Penny Arcade. This time around you will be able to play against Max’s partner Sam, Claptrap from Borderlands, Brock Sampson from Venture Brothers, and Ash Williams from Evil Dead. Read More...

Review: Poker Night At The Inventory
by Corey Dockendorf [ Friday, 3rd of December 2010 - 07:09 PM ]
The guys over at Telltale Games recently released a title called Poker Night At The Inventory, which pits you against some infamous characters from the gaming universe. The game starts in front of a door where you head down a secret elevator leading to an exclusive club: "The Inventory." Here you are greeted by the host who escorts you to a table in the back room for a poker tournament with The Heavy from Team Fortress 2, Strong Bad (nuff said), Tycho from Penny Arcade and Max from Sam&Max. Sword & Poker: The .99 Cent iPhone Battery Killer
by Kevin [ Sunday, 24th of January 2010 - 08:03 PM ]
I've come across a multitude of titles in the App Store that attempt to bridge the gap between two gaming genres. There have been varying degrees of success for most of these games, but every now and again there's a title that not only dares to get the formula right - but sees fit to destroy the battery in my phone (which, admittedly, with an iPhone isn't too terribly difficult). In this case the game in question is "Sword&Poker" - and yes it is exactly what it sounds like.In the world of Sword & Poker, the always dreaded Lord of Chaos has snagged the equally ominous Stone of Creation and has formed a intricate dungeon to protect his dark intent.
