Metro Exodus Will Have A Much Larger World Than Previous Titles
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Metro Exodus The size and scope of Metro Exodus has been revealed in a new interview and it looks like Metro Exodus will be taking the franchise into much larger territories We have some new coverage here for Metro Exodus and while it may not be confirming any of the past rumors we had, it does take us into some new places for the franchise and here it is all about the size of the game. Not how long it will take us to play and beat the final version of the game, but how big the world that 4A Games is going to be taking us into will actually be. That and what to expect now that Metro Exodus will be taking us all out of the tunnels and caves but out into the open world and traveling across the decimated Russian landscape. Read More...

All Hope May Not Be Lost In Metro Exodus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Metro Exodus A new trailer for Metro Exodus shows how hope may not be lost in the game's universe and also maybe the release date for Metro Exodus During The Game Awards we had a nice new look at Metro Exodus and a bit more of how the game's world has progressed from where we last left it and all of the horrors that laid within. Things have always been bleak in the world that 4A Games has brought to life in this FPS, but this latest trailer looks to give us all a little bit of hope. At least that seems to be the theme here in this trailer and whether or not that is true, we at least get a fun new look at Metro Exodus and just what is going on. Read More...

Let's Talk About Video Games & Their Remakes, Remasters, Reboots
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Wednesday, 19th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games There is something going on with video games lately so let's talk about the horrible video games industry practices of late The video games industry is rife with shady business practices. Having people shell out sixty dollars for a game than thirty for a season pass or even more if there is a special edition of a game. This renders most reviews or opinions of a game worthless to the developer. They already have your money and that’s what they mainly care about; rightly so as this is a business. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming We can call it a wrap on this week of gaming now can't we? No we can all move on to play all of those games that we've been putting off until the weekend now and dig right in. That does not mean that we didn't have a whole lot to cover in the world of gaming news. There was quite a bit as well as a few reviews for games coming out next week here. Review: Metro: Last Light Redux
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of August 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Metro: Last Light Redux. It's only been a Year Since It First Released so did it need the upgrade treatment? Here we go again to enter the Metro for the second time with Metro: Last Light Redux. The fully upgraded version of Metro: Last Light that only hit shelves a little over a year ago. I personally enjoyed the hell out of the game the first go around so it made me wonder if an 'HD Upgrade' was truly needed. I guess I'll get to answer if the latest PS4, XB1, and PC release of the game is worth the price of admission of just another cash grab for fans of the franchise or new players who have yet to experience the fun. Review: Metro 2033 Redux
by Julia Schoebel [ Wednesday, 20th of August 2014 - 07:01 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Metro 2033 Redux. It's been over four years since it first released so how well does it upgrade? When we think of HD re-masters of games we generally look at them as being quick cash grabs instead of allowing the developers to truly show off their vision of the game they originally built. Metro 2033 Redux is another title in the mix that may not have seen the full light due to limitations on hardware on both ends of the spectrum. Well 4A Games was given the chance to give it the full polish and I was able to play through Metro 2033 the way I think they wanted to build the game the first time around. Read More...

Look At All The Cool Stuff Uncovered For Metro Redux
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of August 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Metro Redux from Deep Silver and 4A Games has been released showing off all of the updates and comparisons from the original titles Having had a chance to play both titles included in Metro Redux I can attest that both look and play amazing. They both look stunning and all of the minor issues I had with the original titles in terms of gameplay have been tweaked and fixed in this new edition. But of course these are just words on your screen that you are reading and if I know my audience like I think I do, you want to see the proof as well as read my words on the screen. Well you all happen to be in luck for at least half of what I have been praising so far. Read More...

This Week In Gaming 7/28/14 — 8/1/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of August 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming You would think that in the wake of SDCC we would be occupied with more on the gaming recaps than we would the fresh news coming out afterwards. That was not the case in this week and as usual we did our best to bring you everything we could in the world of gaming so you can have an unbiased perspective on things. Ok, well as unbiased as anyone truly can be who doesn't get paid by companies to talk up and excite the internet just to spark the burning in your wallets. None the less though we were also able to recap some of the great gaming experiences from last week here for you. Read More...

SDCC 2014 Hands On: Metro 2033 Redux
by Julia Schoebel [ Friday, 1st of August 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
While At SDCC I Got To See Metro 2033 Redux In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It I know that Metro 2033 Redux has been debuted at many other events since its first announcement. San Diego Comic Con has been my first time to have a chance to actually play the new HD version of Metro 2033. Before this I had only experienced the world of Metro via videos online, second hand conversations, or watching others play the game. For what it was it looked nice but nothing I would personally write home about. Read More...

Have A Better Look At The Updated Family Life In Metro Redux
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of May 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new set of screen shots for Metro Redux have been released showing off the amazing upgrades for Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light A little over a week ago we got details for Metro Redux with a nice trailer showing off Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light running at 60 FPS. As I am sure we will most likely be seeing some hands on time with the collection at E3 coming up here it is not too surprising that we are getting a few new screen shots from the upcoming re-releases. There is no telling if these are PC, XB1, or PS4 shots but they do look damned pretty. Have a look and maybe you can tell the scenes from which title that is included in Metro Redux. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 31st of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Metro Redux was a rumor that cropped up recently but has since been confirmed by Deep Silver. It is seeming like developers and publishers are having issues keeping their titles in work under wraps as of late as we have yet another 'leak' that has been confirmed; this time for Metro Redux. What is Metro Redux? If the images provided below are anything to explain it is a new edition of the Metro franchise from 4A Games and Deep Silver. Review: Metro: Last Light
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of May 2013 - 05:09 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Metro: Last Light. The wait is over for the sequel to Metro 2033. Metro: Last Light is upon us and is continuing the saga of humanity's decimation and Artyom. Let's get down to brass tacks with how Last Light plays and feels. Story The story picks up with Artyom after following the "bad ending" of 2033. That would be allowing the Dark Ones to get blown to hell after they threatened the last safe haven of humanity in Russia. It turns out that one of these "Dark Ones" survived and has been spotted.
