I want to start off this whole thing with a nice quote from the amazing film Orgazmo. Take a look before I go into the bulk of what I want to talk about in this posting about the "over sexualization" in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V and comments made my Kojima. Even though we are still days out from E3 week, Konami has taken it upon themselves to "go first" with the showcase of what they have coming in the next year. This isn't anything new for Konami and will probably stay the same for the coming years. The entire "event" went live at 10 am PST and as of this posting just about ended, but we have it in its entirety in case the real world had you pulled away from you computers. Alright with E3 right around the corner, Konami took it upon themselves to have their 2nd annual "Pre-E3 Press Conference" which started off slow with some social game updates and news. Kojima has been doing his thing on Twitter for a few days now, and it's worth the translation effort just to walk along with him. Hideo Kojima said to wait a few more weeks for a public announcement on a upcoming Metal Gear project. But scans from Famitsu pretty much spoiled it. Metal Gear is coming to the Iphone. Konami have also given us some details on the game. It's an original title in the MGS4 world with 8 stages with more to be made soon and obviously controlled by the touchpad. MGS4's Content to massive to fit on anything but Blu-Ray According to a few sites out there, it has been stated that there is no English track on the new Metal Gear game for the fact that it just couldn't be fit on to the Blu-Ray disk. So no subtitles or English voice track on the Japanese version. Which means that unless you can speak and read the language, you will have to wait for the game to come in your language instead of importing. Sounds bad at first, but that means that they used up the entire 50GB there has to be a really long game or a game that will blow everyone's minds. Read More...
