Storytelling Time In The Secret World

It may be coming a lot slower that I would want, but here comes quite a bit more on what is going on with The Secret World. Well at least as it goes with the missions and stories being told in the game. Gods The Secret World Is Looking Better And Better

In The Secret World, The Templars Are From London

Holy hells! We haven't seen anything new about The Secret World since the end of March. Like the whole team over at Funcom was ushered into the basement bunker owned by the Men in Black for trying to show the world what is truly going on. I was a bit afraid that was the case too. I am overly excited to see if they are going to be able to make up for Age of Conan. While there is still no release time frame anywhere in sight, there is a new video showcasing part of the creation process of The Secret World - at least in the form of one of the factions in the game. You will be surprised that the Templars are also nothing akin to the real world or the Assassin's Creed version of the society. Read More...

Age of Conan Offline Leveling?

Funcom's Age of Conan released its latest patch last Tuesday and 1.07.2 brought with it a new "offline leveling" system. Details could be found out on the official community forum here.Oliver 'Tarib' Kunz explains that every active account you have will currently be given 4 free levels to distribute as the player sees fit. These points can be given to any active toon you have, but the catch is they have to at least be level 30 to enjoy the benefit of "offline leveling".Additional "offline levels" are gained every 4 days (that's 4 days real time) whether you're logged into your account or not; you only need to have an active subscription to reap these rewards. That secret, how The Secret World's gameplay actually makes it look more like an action/adventure game and not an MMO. Which in this case, is extremely jaw dropping. The Secret World's Monster Blog

God I love viral marketing. Especially the kind of viral marketing that draws you in deeper and deeper to find out very little about what is being advertised. Or at least when the details are so cryptic you don't get much out of it, but still want more. Something that Funcom has been doing for almost a year now with The Secret World. Just "dug up" on the great internets is a blog that shows it has been running since November of last year. A Different Look At Kingsmouth From The Secret World

Looking at the below new assets for Funcom's upcoming MMO The Secret World, the excitement is back after the very lack-luster gameplay video they threw out there to entice us all. I still attest that it was pretty bad for the first real video for the game. But in any instance, like I said, the new screen shots totally make up for it. While it is hard to tell if these are stylized in-game shots or just concepts done up in an art department, they are still great pieces of eye candy. It has been a bit since we have had any good and fun news about Funcom's upcoming MMO The Secret World. Am I right or am I right? We are still waiting for the continuation of those cool and creepy videos they were pumping out over last Summer, but it doesn't look like that is coming just yet. But instead, it looks like they are starting another viral marketing scheme to get people interested. The Darkest Headquarters Of The Days

It happened the first go around, where they sent out a video for the game then followed it the next day with a few images and a new facts about the game. More Details On The Secret World Wow that didn't take long for Funcom at all. Just yesterday I brought you a debut trailer for this new MMO stating that there wasn't much else stated about this game outside of the teaser trailer. That and a website that just pretty much showed off said video, and a couple of grayed out images, and a weird countdown in a weird font. But that changes just a bit today.
