Review — Tape: Unveil The Memories
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of May 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Tape We sit down and review Tape: Unveil The Memories. A different kind of walking sim that plays with some time. Here is our review of Tape: Unveil The Memories We have had a lot of updates and news for Tape: Unveil The Memories up to now and we have been curious to see how this title was going to play out there. This is the latest title that BlackChiliGoat Studio wrapped up for us on the PS4, PS5, and PC with some new twists to the horror walking sims out there. Most of which needed to work with a camcorder that allows us to play with time and other objects out there. Read More...

Review — Postal 4: No Regerts
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of April 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Postal We sit down and review Postal 4: No Regerts. The Postal Guy is back in action & out of Early Access. Here is our review of Postal 4 It does feel like it has been some time since we had a full Postal game release out there. Sure, Running With Scissors has given us a few bits of DLC, some remasters, and Early Access to the game before now, but it has been about eleven years since we had a full and new title in the IP hit the PC. This is where Postal 4: No Regerts comes in, as it is fully out there and ready for everyone to give it a go. It has wrapped up a lengthy EA phase and the official build of it is out there for download and play as you read this. Read More...

Review — Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of April 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Wonderlands We sit down and review Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. A trip back into the fantasy lands of the Borderlands. Here is our review of Wonderlands Sometimes DLC falls flat and sometimes DLC takes off and becomes its own thing, which is the case we have here for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Not that we are seeing Gearbox slap on some DLC from past titles, but taking an idea that so many loved and giving us all a full game instead of a small segment to it all. All of which would be a gross simplification of what Wonderlands actually is, but someone needed a good intro here, Bay Bay!. Now we can dive in to see just how well this all translated over and if it is worth your time and money to spin up a game of Bunkers & Badasses. Read More...

Review — A Musical Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of March 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
A Musical Story We sit down and review A Musical Story. A funky new rhythm game that explores musical memory. Here is our review of A Musical Story It feels like true rhythm games have taken a backseat over the years with only a few standing the test of time. They are fun, but for some, they get burnt out rather quickly. Now we have A Musical Story entering the scene from Glee-Cheese Studio and Digerati to see if they can add more to the map and offer up something new and unique. A title that aims to give us some fresh much, but also tap into a story and play with the idea of musical memory. Read More...

Dying Light We sit down and review Dying Light 2. The zombie, parkour title is back to keep us all running. Here is our review of Dying Light 2 The IP that started a nice line of games out there is back with Dying Light 2 rushing out to us all. The title that blends some of the parkour running, zombie horror, and FPS style of gameplay that we have been waiting for is ready to take us back in and to a new location. All after all of the hardships and work that Techland has gone through. We have been fairly excited to get our hands on Dying Light 2 since it first showed up, so now it is time to see how the game played out. Read More...

Review — Faraday Protocol
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of December 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty We sit down and review Faraday Protocol. An interesting puzzle game in a weird little setting. Here is our review of Faraday Protocol It has been a good clip of time since we had a good puzzle game, but now we have Faraday Protocol that is out there. Well, it has been out there for a while now but it is getting a new surge with the latest updates that Red Koi Box has out there for the game. It is also another one that fell to the backburner here even if Faraday Protocol is one of those titles that sounds like it would be up our alley here. This is why we took the time to play the latest version of the game to see how it is flowing. Read More...

Review — Call Of Duty: Vanguard
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of November 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty We sit down and review Call Of Duty: Vanguard. The latest of the franchise that has us take on WWII from a different angle Here is our review of Call Of Duty: Vanguard Another year has passed and that means it is time for the next installment into the Call Of Duty line. This one picking up with Sledgehammer Games at the wheel and aiming to bring us things we have never seen or played before. That is how these FPS titles keep going with a similar gameplay loop since their inception. This time, though, we get to see a bit of a different history play out during WWII and various other locations that do not always get highlighted over the Americanized folk stories of the war. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of October 2021 - 09:00 PM ]

Review — Chernobylite
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of October 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Chernobylite We sit down and review Chernobylite. A survival game set in a real-world setting. Here is our review of Chernobylite The teasing and development for Chernobylite have come to a close and The Farm 51 is ready to show us all what it has. It went through a fun rollercoaster of events to get here with crowdfunding and a full publisher now, and we can finally enter the new zone. The zone here being a 3D scanned version of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone that they placed the entirety of Chernobylite within. Was it worth the time, effort, and will it make for a great game? Review — Far Cry 6
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of October 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Far Cry We sit down and review Far Cry 6. The next major installment into the IP with some Big Characters. Here is our review of Far Cry 6 The next title in the Far Cry line is here and ready for us to head out into a world to save the population that is being oppressed and abused. That does seem to be the main way all of these titles from Ubisoft go and flow. A little social commentary mixed with an open world of chaos and destruction. That is why we come back. Read More...

Review — Song Of Horror
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of September 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Song Of Horror We sit down and review Song Of Horror. An interesting episodic horror title with a haunting melody. Here is our review of Song Of Horror It is always interesting to go down the paths for many different survivors in horror titles, and Song Of Horror is the next title out there aiming to focus on that a bit. This would be the most recent title from Protocol Games that has made the leap from PC over to the PS4 and Xbox One to try to tell a sinister story through multiple episodes. In the console case, we have the whole batch of chapters for Song Of Horror in one sitting after all of this time. Read More...

Review — Ragnaröck
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of July 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Ragnaröck We sit down and review Ragnaröck. A new VR Rhythm game for those virtual Vikings out there. Here is our review of Ragnaröck The day is finally here and Ragnaröck is upon us all. Not in the way of the end of times, I know this joke gets old, but in the way of the latest Rhythm VR title that is out there from WanadevStudio for the PC platforms out there. Yes, that version of it all where we will be smashing some runes out there to get all of our Vikings rowing the longboats just a bit faster. Yes, technically, Ragnaröck is a Rhythm and a Racing game out there as one feeds into the other. Read More...
