Smashing More Pumpkins In Games

Rock Band DLC For 4/29/08 Not too huge of a thing going on as far as the DLC for Rock Band this week. Not too keen on the two Mother Hips songs that are coming out. They just don't sound like they will really be all that fun to play. Maybe it is just me, but meh. So kind of a slow one. But then there is one that I will most likely be getting this week. One of my favorite Smashing Pumpkin songs will be out this week too. Still waiting on some good Slipknot or Rammstein to make it on the lists for this game, or maybe even Free Bird as well. Rocking DLC Release For This Week Ok, so not too big of news, but here's some more stuff for download this week for Rock Band. This is mainly for the XBox, until the PSN is back up on Thursday. Then you get these and also the ones listed here and here. Wish there was more to talk about, but not much more than the releases of this. Well other than the little blurb and bustle going around about the insane price of the European price of the game. More Rock Band News So I got a few things for all you Rockers from the US to Europe. Seems like EA drops all the info at the same time, so this will have a few Newiscles (Yes I know that's not the name. :)) here. First EA announced the pricing that the have planned for the European version of the game. It kind of sucks too. Everyone's favorite Portal song, Still Alive, will be available for free tomorrow for Rock Band players. No, this is not a April Fools Day joke. Harmonnix, MTV Games, and Valve have teamed up to make this possible for Xbox 360 and Playstation users. "While the cake may be a lie, the free download of "Still Alive" is confirmed truth," said Greg LoPiccolo, VP of product development at Harmonix. "'Still Alive' is an awesome song that brings together great gaming and great music. One of the most anticipated games of the year, Grand Theft Auto IV, is finally making its grand debut this April and Rockstar Games is making sure that this Grand Theft Auto experience is like no other! In light of the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto IV, I figured I'd deliver you all some more updates on EA's attempt to buy out Take-Two!Earlier this year EA attempted put out a bid on Take-Two, parent company to Rockstar and 2K games, and were rejected. After trying to make a bid again last month, EA once again ups it's anny and puts out yet another bid out on Take-Two. And once again - they got rejected!Although the press release on T2's site is pretty much written in Wall Street-lingo wrapped in an abundance of legal mumbo-jumbo, I was able to gather some details: -EA has upped it's offer to $26 a share for stock-holders of Take-Two. And it looks like Harmonix posted a little earlier than they usually do, the new downloads for next week. Much like the Grateful Dead pack, except it is Boston this time around. Rockstar Apologizes For And Is Working On 360 Bully Now that I've suckered you into the article, time to mess you up. I'll try not to mess you up as bad as Rockstar has made it seem that they have messed up. Apparently their testing and QA department didn't catch all of the bugs in the game before release.
