Bethesda has announced that they are releasing a new prequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order titled Wolfenstein: The Old Blood There is no doubt that Wolfenstein: The New Order was an amazing addition and revitalization to the franchise. In fact it was so good I wanted to play through twice not for the deviating story lines but to enjoy it all again. Well it looks like we are getting even more from Bethesda and MachineGames as they have just announced a prequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order titled Wolfenstein: The Old Blood due out on May 5th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Assignment DLC for The Evil Within has been given a new trailer and an official release date for all of us wanting more horror in our lives We were teased last week with the release month for The Evil Within's first DLC pack from Tango Gameworks and Bethesda. Why we had a tease just over a week before the official announcement date and full trailer is beyond me. None the less it looks like that DLC for The Evil Within, titled The Assignment, is coming to the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Steam on March 10th. The Evil Within is getting its first bit of DLC, The Assignment, sometime in March and we have a teaser for it The Evil Within has been out for around four months now and people have ponied up the extra cash to have the season pass for any and all DLC that could be coming. Well some of it has been promised and one bit was to be able to play a story driven portion of the game surrounding Juli Kidman. Bethesda announced today that they will be holding their own press conference at E3 2015 but with no details about what will be shown It looks like Bethesda wants in on all of the E3 fun of hosting their own press conference as the publisher just announced on their blog that they would be doing just that. No longer will they be held to just a booth and a kick-ass off site party/get-together at E3. A new video from Tango Gameworks has been release to show off the thought behind The Evil Within's chainsaw wielding maniac: The Sadist By now most of you have run into The Sadist in The Evil Within. That would be the chainsaw wielding maniac that even the Haunted are afraid of. Or, you know, the first chainsaw wielding maniac that you are forced to encounter at the beginning of The Evil Within. If you haven't run into him at all then you just haven't played The Evil Within yet or Bethesda and Tango Gameworks left some kind of huge bug in the game that allowed you to completely bypass this enemy. So far the reviews haven't been as shiny as I am guessing Bethesda and Tango Gameworks has wanted but I am still very optimistic for The Evil Within in the long run. At least that was in the terms of the game's director and creator. Two new behind the scenes looks at The Evil Within have been released to show off the art and gameplay direction that the game has taken from start to finish Today is wrapping up to be a 'behind the scenes' kind of day now with The Evil Within adding two more videos to show off what has gone into making the game. The larger difference here is that most of it is through interviews with Shinji and the development team instead of just showing off what is going on with the game's engine and design directions. A few new screen shots and concepts for The Evil Within have been released to show off a couple locations we will be surviving through Earlier in the week we had a nice little trailer for The Evil Within that didn't do much to show off anything we haven't seen for the game so far. It wasn't a letdown at all but I know I would have loved to see a few more places, environments, or locations that we are going to be running for our lives around. Even the "new gameplay" from the Tokyo Game Show is just another play though for the same demo levels we have seen since the big E3 showing. We have a month left so it is time we ask for a bit more. The TGS trailer for The Evil Within has been released by Bethesda and Tango Gameworks and it is looking even more insane It looks like we have a new trailer for The Evil Within straight out of the Tokyo Game Show and it actually manages to make the game look more intense than it already did. I didn't think this was going to be possible given how amazingly freakish the game looks and sounds already but this new trailer is cut so perfectly that I can see the goal for Silent Hills coming to life here in The Evil Within.
