See How Mortal Kombat X's Mobile Game Is Going To Handle
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of March 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
New footage for the Mortal Kombat X mobile app has been released and shows off how the game will be played It seems to be Mortal Kombat X week over here as we had the character announcements earlier and now we have a nice taste of the mobile game's gameplay. Just below you can see how Mortal Kombat X is going to handle on the Android version of the app but it should be safe to assume that it will run about the same on the iOS version as there doesn't look to be anything platform specific here at all. I'm not an iOS guy so correct me if I am wrong in that statement but if there isn't tapping and swiping allowed there then I am glad to keep with my Android products; with more Mortal Kombat X now. Here is what we can see for Mortal Kombat X running on an Android. Read More...

More Characters Confirmed, Rumored, & Seen For Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of March 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
In the wake of GDC and a new trailer for Mortal Kombat X we have more confirmed fighters and more to speculate on if they are more than set pieces I guess it's time to state that Johnny Cage is now completely confirmed for Mortal Kombat X. We have some new gameplay footage for the game and now we have a good look at the character. Also though we have some new speculation that proves that my mistrust in having screens and renders for character in Mortal Kombat X are actually founded a bit. Oh, and Sonya Blade is a 100% confirmed fighter for Mortal Kombat X. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of March 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A recent update to the Mortal Kombat X product page on Amazon has revealed Johnny Cage plays a huge role in the game outside of fathering a new fighter At the end of last week Johnny Cage was only rumored to be in Mortal Kombat X. Now, thanks to an update on Amazon for the product page, we have a character render and character description for Mr. Cage. Granted this doesn't completely confirm that Johnny Cage will be playable in Mortal Kombat X but it does kind of point more in the direction of that being the case. Read More...

The Real Reasons For Batman: Arkham Knight's Mature Rating
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of March 2015 - 09:01 PM ]
The ERSB has posted the explanation for why Batman: Arkham Knight is being rated 'M' for mature and it is more violence based The fact that Batman: Arkham Knight has been set as a 'M' rated title came as a bit of shock to many when we first heard about it. Up until now Rocksteady has kept everything at least a 'T' for Teen rating with all of the past Arkham titles and I am sure that Warner Bros. wanted to keep it that way as bumping the rating could and most likely will exclude some players and fans of the franchise from experiencing Batman: Arkham Knight. I feel for you up until the point of me getting an awesome and dark game for my PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

New Gameplay For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Straight Out Of PAX East
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of March 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
CD Projekt Red has released some new gameplay footage for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that was shown to fans during PAX East over the weekend Another year and another PAX East in the bag that was filled with all kinds of new videos like the following one for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The people over at CD Projekt Red sure do love to show off all they have for this game so far and they have treated us all to another seven or so minutes of gameplay for the game. Just the kind of thing we've all been waiting for as we have to wait so much longer to actually start to dig into the 100+ hours of gameplay that The Witcher 3 is being claimed to have. Unlike other titles out there, even though we've had hours of gameplay shown over the last years of time this doesn't feel like we have seen all of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt before the launch. Rumor: Another Two Characters For Mortal Kombat X?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of March 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
From recent interviews and screenshots it looks like Mortal Kombat X may include playable Johnny Cage and Blind Kenshi Others are stating that it has been confirmed that Johnny Cage will be coming back for Mortal Kombat X. Others as in other outlets who are basing this all off of a recent interview, that has been pulled offline by Warner Bros., where one of the senior producers on Mortal Kombat X stated directly that Johnny would be playable in the full version of the game. This interview comes from Game Crate and has been spread all over by now but it looks like the PR cleanup crew has been doing their job to keep character announcements on their terms and not a slip up by some of the people working on the game. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of February 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
There were hidden codes in the recent Batman: Arkham Knight trailer that led to more clues and then to full character bios from Rocksteady Thank the gods for the internet as we all may have missed some things in the latest Batman: Arkham Knight trailer from earlier this week. Apparently, I've still yet to see them, there were hidden codes spliced into the trailer that sparked a whole lot on conversation and inevitably some cool answers; we'll talk about those later. These codes, trailer, and new additions to the Batman: Arkham Knight website all cropped up at the same time. The new additions being three locations that required a password to get in. Read More...

The Brutality finisher for Mortal Kombat X has now been confirmed and shown off by NetherRealm during their recent Kombat Kast The Brutality finisher for Mortal Kombat X has been teased and now we have full confirmation that they will be making a return. This all comes from the most recent Kombat Kast from NetherRealm where the team showed off a bit more of Cassie Cage's variations and then finished with her performing a Brutality to end the match. Of course this was also followed up with a montage of a bunch of other Brutalities to help add up to the more than 100 different Brutality finishers. That would average at least 5 different Brutalities for each of the shown character slots for Mortal Kombat X. Read More...

Gotham Is Up For Grabs In The Latest Batman: Arkham Knight Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
A new Batman: Arkham Knight trailer is out and it shows off more villains as well as how dark the game is going to be landing the M rating If you were wondering even more about that M for Mature rating that Batman: Arkham Knight is going to be hit with then man do we have an insane new trailer to show you for the game. Rocksteady isn't messing around when they state that this is going to be the Batman title to wrap up their franchise as well as have a dark story. Just the rules that are laid out by the Scarecrow in the below trailer kind of dictates that Gotham is going to be something akin to the world in The Walking Dead with little to no rules and "might is right. Batman: Arkham Knight May Be Too Mature For Some Gamers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Batman: Arkham Knight has received an M for Mature rating from the ERSB surprising Rocksteady but not stopping the game from its course If you are under the age of 17 and have parents that pay attention to you then you may not be playing Batman: Arkham Knight as it has received an M rating by the ERSB. This news comes from Rocksteady directly so this isn't some random musing or news from scouring through the huge DB that the ERSB has for all of the titles it has rated. I am sure it is there but none the less this is coming from the horse's mouth so to say. Read More...
