by Jesse [ Saturday, 30th of May 2009 - 12:18 AM ]
It’s taken years for mixed martial arts as a sport to grow into the worldwide phenomenon that it is today and much of the success is thanks to the efforts of the Ultimate Fighting Championship which has become the largest fighting league in the world. But if there’s one thing that’s been missing is an MMA video game that captures the spirit and the essence of the sport without having to step into the cage and get your face smashed in. There have been half a dozen attempts in the past, but nothing really seemed to work. Thankfully all that is about to change with UFC 2009: Undisputed. Read More...

As a result, this presents a very unique and fun challenge which is trying to decide what fighting style is going to work the best and be the most effective for you. Whether you’re using 1 of the more than 60 UFC fighters in the game or choosing to take your own created warrior into the cage, deciding the best technique for your style of play can be the difference between seeing your hand raised in victory or having your teeth shoved down your throat. Today is all about standing in the pocket and going toe-to-toe with another fighter. Read More...

Looking Undisputed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of February 2009 - 09:30 PM ]
UFC 2009 Undisputed Footage Attention UFC fans, it looks like THQ is getting a great game wrapped up for you to dish out your own fantasy fights within the UFC. Just to show it off, THQ let a bunch more screen shots flow out to tantalize us all as well as a "mock" fight video between two of the fighters from the game. Complete with a not so drunken Joe Rogan giving his thoughts on how the fight is playing out and advantages one fighter has over the other. Kind of a fun little thing to show off the power of this new game. Read More...
