There are the Madden purists out there, there always will be. I cannot consider myself one of them because for all of the "innovations" EA throw into the Madden games - it will always be the same experience for me. Since EA secured the NFL license, there's been false start after false start for competitors to the gridiron throne. I give all the credit in the world to Blitz: The League and the 2k series for creating some compelling gameplay, but because of either: dated gameplay and graphics, or leaning too much on novelty gameplay, they were never able to achieve the same numbers of units sold. Looks like Nintendo just announced a very cool little goodie for the Nintendo Wii. As of August 24th you will be able to buy Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for the Nintendo Wii, all utilizing the Wii Remotes control system displayed in Metroid Prime 3. Aliens Vs Predator - Videogame Teaser Trailer What a great tag line for a game that looks absolutely amazing, well from the few screens and short teaser that Sega has just posted up on their blog and YouTube account. But even with it all being just a small glimpse at this game, it looks like it will be even better than the films of the same title. From the looks, it is all in game graphics and effects, although it wouldn't be the first time a game company has pulled the wool over our eyes. Like most fangirls, Cosplay is a typical part of my geek life. Being a Valve fanatic, I gather every year at A-KON to cosplay with my fellow valve fangirls and fanboys for a weekend of fun, frags and photos. Last year I encountered many Chell cosplayers, but none of which had a gun from the game as realistic and inspiring as this.
