Aggrocast Episode Forty Eight: Rumors and Rants
by Brian Bentley [ Thursday, 5th of November 2009 - 03:36 PM ]
The crew is back and trouble free this week. They discuss what they've been playing, including Torchlight, Tekken 6, Dragon Age and much more. During the segment, Brian and Binh give Torchlight a lot of love and Michael talks of his ongoing love affair with Bioware. In our features this week, Binh brings a Lego game to his Bargain Binh segment, Brian goes old school during On The DL, and Michael dusts off a classic gaming cartoon for Netflix Picks. Our topics of discussion this episode deal with the rumors of Modern Warfare 2 blocking party chat in some modes on XBox Live, Michael ranting about demos being given out as pre-order bonuses, and why the hell there is a King Of Fighters movie being made. Please rate and review us on iTunes and the Zune Marketplace. Read More...

by Corey Dockendorf [ Friday, 16th of October 2009 - 05:07 PM ]
As if there hasn't been enough stuff popped out from the beast that is Dragon Age: Origins. First we get the character builder, then we get the social networking site. The game isn't available until the beginning of next month but BioWare is already working on a 2D project slated for sometime in October to wet our appetites. Blood, monsters, and character sheets, all in classic 2D! Dragon Age Journeys: Deep Roads is being created by EA2D, a new studio out of the EA franchise that specializes in flash based games. The Age Of The Dragon Is Drawing Near!
by Corey Dockendorf [ Tuesday, 13th of October 2009 - 08:19 PM ]
As previously announced by the Dragon Age: Origins team, the character builder is finally available for download Here. After spending many hours with this game demo at Comic-con this year, and finally getting to see what I am going to make my "first character" look like is quite exciting. It's a little taste of things to come. Players who download the Character Builder will be able to select everything from Gender to Class and see the talent trees we will have to choose from. I must warn you though, the guys over at Dragon Age really outdid themselves this time. Read More...

E3 Impressions of Dragon Age: Origins
by Michael Camacho [ Thursday, 4th of June 2009 - 11:19 PM ]
Entering Bioware's Dragon Age: Origins demo room, I figured it would be another sit down and watch the developer's play the game type demo. And it began in just that fashion, in which they went over the basic premise of how the Arch Demon has risen and brought along a horde of demons to help wipe out everything in the world. The developers started us off at one of the party camps, and these are mobile locations the player can set up and interact with the various characters within the party. You can give gifts or items to other characters to build your relationship. Read More...

Violent Fur ball Of Death
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of March 2009 - 08:38 PM ]
X-Men Origins: Wolverine Game Trailer Just in time for the motion picture release we will see the game based on the new Marvel film. But little has been seen on this new game, pretty much about the same as the film short of trailers and such. But it would seem that is coming to an end to get gamers and those who love movie adaptations of games all pumped and rearing to drop a few dollars on Wolverine. Should it be a big surprise? Well the surprise here is that it looks really nice. Read More...

X-Men Origins: Wolverine
by Kevin [ Monday, 2nd of February 2009 - 02:32 PM ]
Most licensed games that stem from movies have a history of well, being garbage, or at the very least having very few redeeming qualities. A lot of people attribute this to rushed development cycles to tie in with the film's release. There are high hopes for this though considering Raven Software, the team behind Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is at the helm, along with Amaze Entertainment, who have some debatable successes. It will no doubt be a great representation of the character, but with the previous Wolverine centered game, X2: Wolverine's Revenge getting somewhat a luke warm response, will people be ready to accept a new form of Logan - that's another movie tie-in?The official site: http://www.
