Side Quest The spin-off series from Mythic Quest, Side Quest, is dropping out there very soon for us all to pick up yet another Side Quest Just as the fourth season of Mythic Quest is coming to an end, it looks as if things are going to carry on a bit more with Side Quest. This would be the spin-off show that was in the works from Ubisoft and Apple TV+ to further capitalize on the popularity of the show while giving more of the cast and crew ways to flex their talents a bit more. Remember the old school days of MUD's and serious 2D MMORPG action (where we learned to grind XP like a champ). One of the original MMORPG's is about to realease it's 8th expansion pack! Recently Ultima online released the 7th expansion Mondain's Legacy for free as a part of the game client, probably for players to get jazzed for the new expansion. The 8th expansion Stygian Abyss is due to be released September 8th 2009 and will include new features, dungeons and epic boss battles. Looks like EA is forming a new group specifically focusing on RPG and MMO games. What this new group will be called has not yet to have been announced. Of course with a creation of a new group that means there will be some shifting of power and responsibility. Mark Jacobs was the co-founder and general manager of Mythic and left EA on June 23rd 2009. Mark was not only a general manager but also a lead designer on Warhammer Online and Dark Age of Camelot! Mark will be replaced by Ray Muzyka who is the co-founder and general manager of the all powerful BioWare. Read More...
