Murdered Soul Suspect Has A New Viral Campaign To Open Your Eyes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of March 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Murdered Soul Suspect is getting the viral ad campaign and a solid release date this week. June 3rd in NA and June 6th in EU. There is a bit of new viral marketing going on for Murdered Soul Suspect it would seem. I am not a huge fan of this kind of marketing but at least it isn't a countdown clock. Those have to be the two biggest things I loathe when it comes to marketing a game. At least we don't have the countdown for when Square Enix is going to be placing Murdered Soul Suspect on shelves any more. Read More...

We Have Leads On Murdered Soul Suspect's Next Gen Platforms
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of February 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
It has just been revealed that Murdered Soul Suspect will be coming to next gen consoles as well. Also, we have a lead as to the official launch date for the game. So yesterday (2/3/14) it was revealed that Murdered Soul Suspect would be coming to the Xbox One. In fact, there was a nice long video showing off the game on Microsoft's latest baby. There were also a few other cool things that were shown that I will bring up in a bit. What was less gone over is the fact that Murdered Soul Suspect is also slated for a PS4 release as well but that wouldn't come from the Xbox One video but the latest from Airtight Games; which I have also included below. Murdered: Soul Suspect... Now With E3 Walkthrough
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of July 2013 - 09:27 PM ]
Words can paint an amazing picture and level of detail in the mind's eye. But you know what is better? Actually getting to see things with your own eyes. We have just that for Murder: Soul Suspect straight from E3. Well at least Square Enix and Airtight games were nice enough to provide us and the world with a wonderful view of what they were showing in their booth at E3. While I will do the self serving thing and point you to my full write up, it was mostly based off what you are going to get to see in the next 25 minutes. You also don't have to wait in the long line to check it out, so there is that bonus too. Read More...

E3 2013 Impression: Murdered: Soul Suspect
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of June 2013 - 08:16 PM ]
If there was one title I was overly excited to check out at E3 this year it was Murdered: Soul Suspect. Just the basic announcement by its self gave quite a few reasons why it could be an amazing new IP, but I got to actually sit down and check out a bit more of the game than has been shown. Here's a bit of what I am sure we will all be able to see here in the not too distant future. As has been mentioned in the announcement, we get to play as Ronan O'Connor who used to be an investigator in Salem, Massachusetts with a shady past. In what seems like an attempt to not force an exact belief structure, Ronan gets dropped in The Dusk (Ghost realm) that is a bridge between the land of the living and whatever is the "next. Murdered: Soul Suspect Officially Announced And It Looks Spectacular
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of June 2013 - 08:53 PM ]
Way back in February we got a nice little teaser for Murdered: Soul Suspect. It left quite a bit to the imagination and then we heard bupkis. That is until now with the following trailer and tease for what will be shown next week at E3. I have to say it wasn't what my imagination went with but it looks downright awesome, even if it is mostly a pre-rendered trailer. Take a look and I'll fill you in on a few other details about the game that have been released so far. Amazing right? Read More...

by Matt Waitt [ Tuesday, 26th of March 2013 - 08:48 PM ]
On day one of PAX East I had the privilege to snag James Silva and Michelle Juett Silva, the punks behind SKA Studios, and pulled them aside for an interview. We talked about their upcoming game Charlie Murder; a Punk's love letter to Dungeons and Dragons with a lot of references and personal touches. We also talked about how insane Boston's roadways are, and much more. Here are some highlights from the interview. Read More...

Review: Cognition: Episode 1: The Hangman
by Kenton Winkfield [ Thursday, 27th of December 2012 - 06:33 PM ]
I am a lover of murder mystery games, but rarely do I get one that keeps me begging for more. Enter Cognition, an episodic Murder mystery game from indie developers, Phoenix Online Studios. Cognition places you in the shoes of Erica Reed, and FBI Agent in Boston, MA that has the ability to see the ability to see the past of any object she touches. She must use this ability, and several other developing abilities to solve cases and locate murders. Cognition Episode 1: The Hangman starts with Agent Reed and Agent John McCoy racing to a cemetery where Ericka Reed’s brother was taken after being kidnapped by The Cain Killer, a serial killer who kills sets of siblings, a brother and a sister.
