New Gameplay Is Full Steam Ahead For Choo-Choo Charles
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of June 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Choo-Choo Charles A bit of new gameplay or Choo-Choo Charles is here to offer up a few more of the various gameplay elements Choo-Choo Charles will house Here we go with a whole lot of new gameplay for Choo-Choo Charles to better help us all understand what is going on with the game. This is the title that Two Star Games let loose out there a bit ago that had a horrifying train hunting us down while we are making a getaway on our own train. It seemed like a basic concept and looked horrifying the first time around, but it looks as if there is much more going on under the hood of Choo-Choo Charles that will mix up the gameplay and add further into the horror of it all. Things like us having to face off with the monstrosity on our own to name just one of the new things that could go on in the game if we are not smart about it all. Read More...

Code: To Jin Yong A new open-world title, Code: To Jin Yong, was announced with Code: To Jin Yong taking us all on a very stylized adventure Get ready to add a new open-world to run around in with the latest announcement we have for Code: To Jin Yong. This is the next big title from Lightspeed Games and Tencent Games that is moving away from mobile and looking to give us all another title using Unreal Engine 5. That bit of announcement seems like it will run its course soon with UE5 being the next big thing, but Code: To Jin Yong is going to be using it as a selling point to get us all in on it. This Week In Video Games 6/20/22 — 6/24/22
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of June 2022 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The end of the week is here and we will just focus on the video games side of it all and not the horrors that are going on out there in the real world. We will always need these fun escapes from that as we look towards Wanted: Dead, Have A Nice Death, and Evil West to help reality feel a little less difficult. Not to mention ease the wait for A Plague Tale: Requiem to land out there too. Thank the gods for video games so we can kick back between each fit of outrage out there. Read More...

It Was Announced That You Will Soon Be The Enemy Of The State
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of June 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Enemy Of The State A new top-down shooter, Enemy Of The State, is announced to make us all take on the role of someone who is now an Enemy Of The State It is going to be time to enter into the criminal underworld in 2024 with the announcement we have for Enemy Of The State. This is a new top-down shooter from Brave Lamb Studio and Movie Games that will whisk us all back to the 1920s and the world of crime lords again. Yes, it seems a bit odd for a company to announce their games this far out, but that just feels like the level of faith that the team has in the game to me. More so when you find out that this is just the announcement for Enemy Of The State on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC with little gameplay to offer up but just a feel for the world we will be inhabiting when it does come. Evil West Extends Things Out A Bit More With The Latest Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of June 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
Evil West Even more gameplay for Evil West is out here to show off the high-action that Evil West will offer up this September We just had the September 20th release date set down for Evil West not too long ago, and it came with a bit of gameplay to tease it all. Some said it was enough and others said it was nowhere near enough for it all. I am guessing that Flying Wild Hog thought it was more on the lacking side to help build the hype for the game before the launch, so here we are with a whole lot more gameplay to take in. Almost a solid ten minutes of new gameplay for Evil West with very few cinematics mixed in to pad the time at all. Read More...

New Gameplay Will Walk Us All Deeper Into Broken Pieces
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of June 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Broken Pieces Gameplay for Broken Pieces is out here to show off the environment and some of the strangeness happening within Broken Pieces More footage for the psychological thriller, Broken Pieces, has slipped out there and available for us all to pick up on now. There have been a few smaller bits from Elseware Experience and Freedom Games for this title, but it always seemed to sneak right by us all before too. That is not the case this time with the gameplay we have for Broken Pieces that might have you wondering what mystery is going on in this place and how are we going to solve it when it hits the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S when it is ready. Especially after the goofy bits we had last year when we had some footage to dig into. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/13/22 — 6/17/22
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of June 2022 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is finally over and we can take one big breath as we wait to see what the next one will hold for all of these video games and updates we had. We were barely even able to cover a small portion of them directly here with us able to get to more for Resident Evil, The Callisto Protocol, and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth among so many more. That is only talking about the video games we had more to update beyond just a basic trailer too. Many of those are still over on our YouTube channel or side of the site for you to see now too. The Gates Of Castle Kandar Will Open Soon In Evil Dead: The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of June 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Evil Dead A new map for Evil Dead: The Game is on the way with another iconic Evil Dead location offing more horror Given the fact that Evil Dead: The Game had/has a Season Pass option to go one before and after its original launch, it is no huge surprise that we are going to be seeing the game grow and evolve over time. The surprising part that we have right now, though, is that Boss Team Games and Saber Interactive are here and ready to start talking about new updates coming to the game so close to launch. In fact, these new updates do not even have anything to do with the extras paid for in Evil Dead: The Game so far but a free one that is coming down the line. Read More...

Humanity Is Going To Try To Survive Again While High On Life
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of June 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
High On Life Another title, High On Life, in on the way from the minds that brought us all Trover and it looks like High On Life is not leaving any of that behind When it comes to sheer comedy in video games, I always have to place Squanch Games up there at the top of the list that know how to do it and with the announcement we have for High On Life, it looks like they are securing that spot again. That would be the studio that has been bringing the various weirdness from Justin Roiland to life and now they are giving us a first-person shooter to offer up the same kind of humor. All while making it truly feel like High On Life could easily build into all of the other projects that the team has made over the years. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of June 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
A Plague Tale More gameplay for A Plague Tale: Requiem is here for us to take in and see how it is pushing the rat technology of A Plague Tale forward The rats are out in full force once again with some new gameplay that we have for A Plague Tale: Requiem. Not that we expected them to go away at all, but it does look like it is coming at us in a few new ways too. All while Amica tosses out some new combat and stealth motions in the mix too. Asobo Studio knows how to give us all what we want and now it looks like the end of A Plague Tale: Innocence will factor into it all more too. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of June 2022 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week By the gods, what a week we just had here for all things in the world of video games. Normally this would be when the E3 fun kicks into high gear, so it was to be expected. More so with the announcement that the physical and digital E3 will take place next year for us to see titles like Resident Evil, The Walking Dead, and whatever is coming for the next Call Of Duty. So many video games yet to come and so many we have yet to fully hear about too with so many more events to take place and everything we did not get a chance to cover this week. Read More...

Nightwing Is Back In Action Here For Gotham Knights
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of June 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Gotham Knights New footage for one of the Gotham Knights is out there to get us ready to take on the role of Nightwing when Gotham Knights launches There is the superhero kick coming in with all of the new games announced and updated, and here we have more for Gotham Knights. The first of four, we assume, with WB Games Montréal giving us all a bit more of a taste of Nightwing in the game. Sure, we have had a bit of this before, but this one is more of a character showcase to show us not only his moves but other skins he will have in Gotham Knights. Given that we will be able to customize the look and feel during the game, this makes perfect sense. Read More...
