Chimera Skull From Playstation 3 Game TV Ad Sold Don't we all wish we had $2500 dollars just to throw around? I'm calling shenanigans if you say no to that. That's right, Shenanigans have been called. But in any instance, this is an interesting thing that popped up on E-bay. Profiles In History is actually offering up the Chimera Skull used in the PS3 commercials for the Resistance TV Ad, with $2,500 being the low end price for the skull. I know, I was kind shocked when I saw it at first as well, but it seems like a legit offer and not one of those, "I'm selling a picture of..." kind of offers. Read More...

Rock Band Multiple Updates Ok, so instead of doing a bunch of different write-ups on this topic, I figured I would just lump them all together into one. 3 is a charm here. First, Rock Band just announced that they have sold over 6 million DLC songs since the games release. That of course is just insane to think about. At least to me. PS3 Firmware v2.20 To Bring BD-LIVE and More Not too big of news, but I know some people will care about it. At least those who either own or are a fan boy of the system. But it has just been discussed about what the next FW update will include. No In-Game XMB, but the BD information is pretty nice to know. Especially since the 2.0 version of the format now has disks that hold up to 100GB of data. Read More...

It looks that Sony is sending out e-mails to people who have registered their unit (Heh, I said unit.), that they can register in for the open beta for their new social network Home. So far, this e-mail has only been seen by members of the Official European PlayStation Forums. The report makes it seem like there is more than just one person stating this, at least out of Europe. Rockstar Apologizes For And Is Working On 360 Bully Now that I've suckered you into the article, time to mess you up. I'll try not to mess you up as bad as Rockstar has made it seem that they have messed up. Apparently their testing and QA department didn't catch all of the bugs in the game before release. Circuit City Has A PS3 Return Policy For HD-DVD Players Ok, now this one isn't the online scams and such that you get spammed with every time you log online or do a search for the PS3. Circuit City has announced that they will take back any HD-DVD players and exchange them for a nice shiny new Blu-Ray player. The customer still has to pay the difference, but you can also take back a player you bought no more than a couple months ago. First Jason And Now Freddy Slashing Away

Rumor: Europe Might Be Getting A Xbox 360 Price Cut So yesterday I talked about how and why the PS3 might get a much needed price slash. Now it turns out that the Xbox 360 might be getting one as well. The big difference in these two stories is that this one seems more like a fact than a rumor, unlike the PS3 report. This should go into effect some time before the Easter sales period and it is reported to be a 50 EUR drop down on all systems. Making the ranges of the systems down to 150 EUR for the Arcade Version, 200 EUR for the Premium, and 240 EUR for the Elite version of the system. Read More...
