by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of June 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This was a rough week, personally, but at least we had a whole lot of video games to keep everything flowing. We had a few confirmations like Watch Dogs 2 and Injustice 2 coming for E3 next week and we also had some great updates to other titles like XCOM 2 and Call Of Cthulu. This is also just the tip of the ice berg that will be the reveals and updates for video games though as we will be flushed with many more here in short order. E3 starts this weekend and this is when everything comes to light and into our eyes. Read More...

I am going to venture a guess that Square Enix has many other announcements in their chambers ready to go at the event its self so here we go with just a few before. Let all of the news begin here with World Of Final Fantasy… even though it is most likely not the title you might be thinking it is. Read More...

Travelling Around In Final Fantasy XV Can Be Fun & Dangerous
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of June 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV A few new tidbits of Final Fantasy XV news have popped up just before E3 and they detail out Final Fantasy XV travel systems among other things We are just over a week out from E3 and it looks like there was a bit more on Final Fantasy XV just dropped to lead up to another huge showing of the game. It looks like Square Enix hosted another Active Time Report recently where some questions were asked and left open until E3 but the developer's did hop on a few items to give us a little more just before. Most of which has to deal with how open of a world Final Fantasy XV will be and just how some of the travelling in the game could be more dangerous then free roaming around and fighting monsters. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV Another Final Fantasy XV developer diary of sorts has popped up and again we are treated to more Final Fantasy XV gameplay and history Here we go with yet even more on the Final Fantasy XV updates as we have another developer diary to look upon as we wait for any other real update for the game. I'm guessing Square Enix is saving all of those updates for the bigger events and not just lost in the mix of the normal hustle and bustle. Although if you are willing to take the time and watch the latest video you'll be able to spy just a bit more gameplay for Final Fantasy XV mixed in and get all hyped up for the September 30th release date again. Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games One more week in video games in the bag and many more to go. All that aside though, this one has been fun with all kinds of updates on Final Fantasy XV and Dishonored 2. Not to mention our latest reviews here for Hitman and The Magic Circle. Read More...

Final Fantasy XV's Visuals Are Like Day And Night
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV Another new video clip for Final Fantasy XV has popped up this week and this one focuses on Final Fantasy XV's day and night cycle in the game…visually As it turns out we couldn't make it all the way through to the end of the week without yet another Final Fantasy XV video to look upon here. At this rate I am not sure what Square Enix will have left for us at E3 or any of the other events leading up to its September 30th release date. Of course I jest as there is obviously a whole lot more going on in Final Fantasy XV that little clips like this can't fully do it justice but at least now we get to see how the day and night transition cycles happen here. Final Fantasy XV More Final Fantasy XV footage has been released out into the wild and lets us see even more of Final Fantasy XV's world and environments we'll be fighting through As it turns out the latest little bit for Final Fantasy XV we had yesterday wasn't the only new footage we were being treated to here. As it would seem, Square Enix had even more of the game's landscapes and world to show off but stowed it all away for another update. This would be said update and now we have another three minutes of environmental fly-by to look at for Final Fantasy XV. Read More...

Here's Some New High Level Combat & Magic For Final Fantasy XV
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV A new 'trailer' for Final Fantasy XV has surfaced and it is filled all kinds of combat and magic from Final Fantasy XV at its higher levels of play Hopefully you had a chance to experience the combat and magic system for Final Fantasy XV during the most recent demo that was put out there. Square Enix went to a lot of trouble to make sure the world had a chance to give it a go after their last major update. That would also be when they confirmed that Final Fantasy XV was going to be hitting the Xbox One and PS4 on September 30th if that helps jog the memory. Read More...

Turns Out Final Fantasy XV's Flying Car Isn't Just Fast Travel
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of April 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV A new update on Final Fantasy XV's flying car have cropped up and it looks like it could be the best way to see Final Fantasy XV's landscapes If you tuned in for Final Fantasy XV's Uncovered event then you most likely saw a nice little extra surprise at the end of the trailer where the hero's car takes flight. It was an awesome little extra that Square Enix threw in to get us all in a tizzy for the game now that we all know it is coming on September 30th. Not that it was truly needed but we received it and of course that brought all of the rumors and speculation of how it plays in Final Fantasy XV into a tizzy as well. Read More...

Final Fantasy XV Will Let Us Reclaim Our Throne This September
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 31st of March 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV The release date for Final Fantasy XV and a whole lot of other updates came out during the big Final Fantasy XV event last night Last night was the night (3/30/16) and we received way more Final Fantasy XV news and updates than most of us could have ever imagined to come. Square Enix was in amazing form during the Uncovered event and even took the "leaked" information in stride. If you didn't here before now the "leaked" info for Final Fantasy XV was that it would be releasing on September 30th of this year and that we are also getting a new demo for the game on the PS4 and Xbox One. Both confirmed true and the demo is currently live on both systems' online stores. Read More...

Final Fantasy XV During an interview recently the director for Final Fantasy XV let some beans spill and we have a few Final Fantasy XV details before the big announcements If you couldn't wait until next week to get all of your Final Fantasy XV news and updates then it looks like you are in the same boat as Hajime Tabata as he wants to give them out. Well not all of them as I am sure Square Enix would completely crush it all before it happened but it does look like we have a few out ahead of the big release date announcement next week. Remember that the release date and other things for Final Fantasy XV will all be given to us on March 30th so if this isn't enough set your alerts. Read More...

Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There we go and wrap another great week in video games. It may not have been the most exciting in the lot but there was a whole lot of great things covered during the week. Such video games as Final Fantasy XV and Friday The 13th had some great coverage but also a final release date for DOOM and new bit of story for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst even if it does make the overall game look a lot different than we grew to love before. Final Fantasy XV's Combat Has Huge Changes From What We Knew
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 1st of February 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV New gameplay footage for Final Fantasy XV has been released and it looks like Final Fantasy XV is deviating a bit more from the formula we once knew We had a nice look at some of the stealth action coming for Final Fantasy XV in the near future already but during the last Active Time Report over the weekend we had some new gameplay footage that shows all of that have a huge change since last we knew. Square Enix still hasn't fully defined out for us all on how it will fully play out when all is said and done but those who have played the early demo of Final Fantasy XV on the PS4 or the Xbox One may be seeing things altered a bit more. In fact it looks like the team is trying to make the game open for even non-fans of the franchise here. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 1/25/16 — 1/29/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 30th of January 2016 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This week in video games did start out on a somber note but then things escalated quickly. I'm talking about the delay announcement at the start of the week and then a whole slew of new games like Conan Exiles and Song Of The Deep getting full announcements. We even were able to put a nail in the announcement of TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan and sit back and wait for that to come out now. All kinds of great news in video games and we haven't even made it into the bulk of PAX South that is going on right now. Read More...
