Video Games Saved My Wedding
by Brian Bentley [ Thursday, 2nd of December 2010 - 09:16 PM ]
Dealing with stress is different for each person. For those of you who have dealt with planning a wedding, you know the amounts of stress the participants encounter as the "big day" draws near. For those of you who haven't experienced it, imagine having a Christmas celebration at your place, except you're expected to buy all the presents (even the ones other people are giving each other), do all the cleaning, cook the entire meal, provide entertainment, make drinks and at the end – serve pie.* During the last few weeks prior to my wedding, both my fiancée (now wife, obviously) and I were both working full time and trying to tie up last minute details – of which there were many. We were always tired and our patience was thin. Read More...

Climax Action Comes to the Tokyo Game Show
by Kevin [ Friday, 4th of September 2009 - 05:10 PM ]
The more I hear and read about Bayonetta, the more I can appreciate the game for what it is - or what it potentially will be. You've heard how the protagonist essentially becomes more and more naked with different attacks, and how her hair transforms into weapons, and how the game contains "Torture Combos", "Witch Time", and "Non-Stop Climax Action". However, what you don't know is that I actually met with Sega for a game similar in both tone and style which I dubbed Thana-Nude the Pistolista. My game, which contained "Hot Sticky Combination Attacks", "Uncomfortable Whimpering Time", as well as "Parent Angering Immoral Fatal Thrust Strikes", focused on Thana-Nude - a 'death fairy ronin' who fell from the sky after the great seperation of the Lost Tombs of Zeebs in the Seventh Ascenion. Plethora Of Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicle Visuals As stated in the article about Dead Rising 2 yesterday, the information, screen shots, video, and pretty much everything else that Capcom wants the world to see and get jazzed about is pouring out of the wood works. So yea, be prepared for the Capcom flood here with all kinds of crazy stuff for you to take in and enjoy. Here are loads of screens stopped and perfectly taken from the trailer/game play video for Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicle for you to digest. Digest like the zombies and bio-weapons that Umbrella has created in this game. Read More...

The Chronicle Continues
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of March 2009 - 04:04 PM ]
Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles Announced With the 5th installment of the franchise mere hours away from the mass populace, it should really be no shock that Capcom is going to try and keep the Resident Evil steam roller going by announcing not one, not two, but three new games they plan to bring out to market before the end of the year. Looks like they want to make 2009 year of Umbrella. If only all three were actually original games. Read More...

Valkyria Chronicles Already Set For Anime Adaptation
by Michael Camacho [ Thursday, 13th of November 2008 - 08:58 PM ]
Playstation 3 Strategy Action RPG, Valkyria Chronicles, is currently being adapted for an anime series due out in April of 2009. It is being produced by A-1 Pictures, who recently worked on Persona - Trinity Soul and Kannagi.  We do not know if it will follow the same animation style as the game, mixing 2D/3D, but it is highly unlikely it will completely imitate it. The last game from Sega development team, Overworks, to be adapted into an anime was Sakura Wars, which was met with much acclaim from fans. Valkyria Chronicles is set in a fictional Europe of the 1930s, located in the war ravaged country of Gallia, and the game recently saw a stateside release this past Novemeber 4th. Read More...
