Hell, It is about time!
by Binh Nguyen [ Friday, 8th of May 2009 - 07:29 AM ]
Am I reading this right? Beta testing for Starcraft 2? I say, “Hell, It’s about time!”. You know what that means right? That means I (if I even get the beta key) get to test out a game that I have waited over 10 years for. Blizzard president Mike Morhaime confirmed today (or yesterday depending on when you read this) by saying “This summer we will be opening up external beta testing, and while we haven’t announced a release date yet, this phase will also signal the final stretch [of development on the game]” I bet you are wondering how you can sign up for the beta. Well fear not lurkers, it’s really simple. Go to Battle. Read More...

BLIZZKAHN!!!!
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of May 2009 - 09:43 PM ]
BlizzCon® 2009 Tickets on Sale May 16 Yea, the title sucks, but who cares? Just thrown out there was the dates and details on trying to get your hands on some of those coveted Blizzcon passes that will most likely get snagged up in a matter of minutes again. But here is a good 11 day warning to get ready for the internet to crash due to all the Blizzard fans from trying to log on at the same time. But this time around, there is a little extra for those of you who can't get passes. Not talking the ability to watching on Pay Per View either. Read More...

Report is in sir!
by Binh Nguyen [ Sunday, 19th of April 2009 - 06:43 PM ]
For all you StarCraft junkies out there, Blizzard has released a second "Battle Report" for your viewing pleasure. In the video you will see Matt Cooper and David Kim facing off as Matt is using the Zerg race and David is using the Terrans race. The video really display the strength and weakness on both races which at one point I thought Matt Cooper was really going to dominate over David Kim, but David really came back and won  the match with updating his techs and forces to turn the tide on Matt Cooper. The new units and upgrades that blizzard released was shown here and to be honest with  you it really tickled me in a way that i cannot wait to try out those new units and abilities.I for one is really itching for this game to come out (when ever that may be) for the PC. Choose Your Protoss
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of January 2009 - 11:28 PM ]
Dark Templar Vote So it looks like Blizzard wants to know what the players of their Star Craft Franchise want as a character in their new IP, Star Craft II. It seems that they want the actual community to choose their favorite since the game is for them and it should be tailored toward them. Not a bad idea from my stand point. But as of right now you can go onto the below link and vote which character you want to have in the new game, when it finally comes out. Your choices are: Lenassa Tribe:This unit carries a single warp blade, and a cloth shroud covers its face. Read More...

With Major 'WOW Killer's' Age of Conan and Warhammer Online, Blizzard's World of Warcraft Cannot Possibly Thrive
by Robert [ Tuesday, 28th of October 2008 - 08:33 PM ]
Fun Fact: World of Warcraft's player subscription base is equal to Ohio's population according to the 2007 census estimates. Even before the release of next major expansion Wrath of the Lich King, Blizzard has much to brag about. After Age of Conan and WAR Online both have released and Blizzard still holds a strong grasp over the MMORPG market, an ever-growing gaming scene, and has now reached a player base of 11 million strong.   Quoted from Blizzard: IRVINE, Calif. - October 28, 2008 - Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. The New Warcraft Experience!! ... I Mean Patch 3.02
by Robert [ Wednesday, 15th of October 2008 - 02:21 PM ]
Yesterday the final major patch for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade was released, meaning Wrath of the Lich King is almost here. Just like pre-BC, Blizzard decided to release a major patch of content to ease the stress of all the new content before the release of the expansion. With patch 3.02 came new spells, new talents, and tons and tons and tons (and I mean TONS) of new utilities. One of the major additions to patch 3.02 was the Achievement System, and I must say I'm pretty impressed. Read More...

World Of Warcraft, Control An Army of Your Own!
by Robert [ Tuesday, 14th of October 2008 - 05:55 PM ]
Sometimes partying with a few people in World of Warcraft can be frustrating, how can you convince 4 other people to do what you want? This problem was solved by a unique fad in World of Warcraft called multi-boxing. When you are a multi-boxer, you spend lots of money and time to level up more than one character (usually around 3-4) and set up your PC to control all characters at once. A lot of the fan base feels this is cheating, others praise the skill involved, and Blizzard turns a blind eye, stating that they consider it legitimate. Well, World of Warcraft player Bradster has decided that he is sick of trying to convince 40 other people to join a raid with him and attack faction cities, Bradster has decided to take multi-boxing to a new level, controlling a total of 36 characters at once (all shaman). Something Familiar At Blizzcon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of September 2008 - 03:03 PM ]
DirectTV's new host for Blizzcon 08! - Becky 'Aktrez' Young! If you were not able to snag up a Blizzcon ticket in the first go around, you were most likely sad. Then there came the second boost of tickets that flooded the market and got snagged up in mere minutes. So I bet you were sad again. Then Blizzard responded with, "Well if you can't be there in person, then we will televise it for you, for a small fee." So then you could be a bit happier. But then they just announced something that should make this site a bit happier about that. Read More...

WoW, Another Eye Popping Opening Video
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of August 2008 - 07:43 PM ]
Wrath of the Lich King Opening Sequence So for you people who are WoW-aholics, here is yet one more little thing to wet your whistle for the new expansion release. The opening cinematic for the expansion. Let me say, like all the others, it is beautiful. It has me more than pumped for this new expansion. The only thing I have to fault it on is that there still is no gnomes in their cinematics. Except if you look close in the undead army scene. Read More...
