The tables have been turned on Rockwall County District Attorney Ray Sumrow, who, rather than prosecuting others, now himself stands accused of misappropriating funds to buy a souped-up gaming PC for his office. As reported by Kotaku: Prosecutors say the computer, which was loaded with eBay sales, personal emails and a cheat sheet for a computer game, is equipped with two hard drives, seven fans, high-end video and audio cards, a wireless Internet connection and cables that glow under ultraviolet light. Viacom withdraws 'Guitar' suit Just goes to show you that when things look down, something good comes along to pick ya back up. And for any PS3 owner, here is a good one for ya. It looks that Sony is sending out e-mails to people who have registered their unit (Heh, I said unit.), that they can register in for the open beta for their new social network Home. So far, this e-mail has only been seen by members of the Official European PlayStation Forums. The report makes it seem like there is more than just one person stating this, at least out of Europe. I mean, I just went to DecalGirl.com and ordered my Skull Case cover for mine. I just wish that I was half as talented as this person or had half the time. Bravo on this this. Doubt it will fit smoothly anywhere, but it does look friggin' cool. Now, here' something I'm curious about, has any one else here gone this crazy with tricking out their machines? Read More…

by Alyssa Porter [ Tuesday, 11th of March 2008 - 08:04 AM ]
As we all know, Super Smash Bros. Brawl recently released in North America and hundreds to thousands of Smash Bros fans waited eagerly outside of their local GameStop’s to get themselves their copy. When they got home and threw their SSBB disc in their Nintendo Wii Consoles “a small percentage” of the fan base was let down by a “disc-read error”.According to Nintendo, who just sold 1 million copies in Japan, this is due to the high-capacity double-layer disc that is used for Super Smash Bros Brawl. On Nintendo’s official North American site they explained "A very small percentage of Wii consoles may have trouble consistently reading data off this large capacity disc if there is some contamination on the lens of the disc drive.
