This Week In Video Games 10/12/15 â 10/16/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of October 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It has been one of "those" weeks in video games hasn't it? I personally blame it all on the releases of the current video games and the news of other major video games like Friday The 13th and Styx that keeps all of the other news as fluff and filler instead of anything solid. I mean we do have Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3, Halo 5, and Fallout 4 releasing as well but when we have other great titles out there already why waste the shelf space now for when we can wait until there is nothing else in the limelight? Ah video games… Speaking of all of those video games in the lime light right now, outside of the below list of video games in the news to read through we are still working on a few reviews for titles that have already released or will be releasing in the coming weeks. Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays From All Your Game Devs
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of December 2014 - 01:00 PM ]
We've collected some of the random virtual Christmas Cards and holiday well wishes from developers and publishers for you Ho ho homicide has to have been one of the best Christmas greetings I have yet to see from a video game studio or publisher this holiday season and I've seen quite a few over the last few days. Tis the season that all of those who make our favorite form of media to try and give back to all of those who keep their families fed. Or at least try to for those who are most likely going to cry and whine to their parents if they didn't get the latest Blizzard expansion or the pre-orders for all of those games coming out next year. This Week In Video Games 10/20/14 â 10/24/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of October 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games I am glad this week in video games is over. Not for any particular reason outside of getting to play all those video games that we've been writing about and covering her eon the site. Even though the review for Styx: Master Of Shadows went live this week I see myself diving back in just for fun and trophy clean up. Need to get as many of those as I can before the PlayStation Experience hits and all. I want to be able to have a higher level to brag about while mixing it up with everyone else who will be attending. Read More...

Review: Styx: Master Of Shadows
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of October 2014 - 03:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Styx: Master Of Shadows. Is this the Thief game that I've been begging for or just another flop? I've covered quite a bit on Styx: Master Of Shadows over the last few months and it is time to see if the game is worth picking up on your PS4, Xbox One, or PC. That's right. It is time that for me to actually play and review Styx: Master Of Shadows and let you know if it lived up to the hype Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide were hoping to build up for it. Just like I am building up the anticipation for the below video review for Styx: Master Of Shadows. I could just keep writing here to keep said anticipation going but instead I'll give you the ten minute review of Styx: Master Of Shadows. Read More...

The Many Faces Of Death In Styx: Master Of Shadows
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of September 2014 - 01:00 PM ]
Another new trailer for Styx: Master Of Shadows shows us some of the ways we can die while playing the game Still no official release date for Styx: Master Of Shadows on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC but we do have a nice montage of a few ways that Styx will and can die in the game. Isn't that lovely? Well, at least it is something to show Cyanide an Focus Home haven't forgotten about all of us who are looking forward to Styx: Master Of Shadows. Time is running out though at least if they want mass spread knowledge of the game in the mix of all of the other big names coming out in the next few months. Maybe that is just me… I guess we'll just have to take solace in the fact that we have yet another gameplay trailer to watch for Styx: Master Of Shadows. Read More...

Styx: Master Of Shadows & The Attack Of The Cloneâ¦
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of September 2014 - 01:00 PM ]
A new gameplay trailer for Styx: Master Of Shadows has been released and focuses on the clone attack that Styx can employ We are coming up on the launch month for Styx: Master Of Shadows so it is time to see a bit more in depth on the special attacks and abilities that we will get to employ when we fire this bad boy up on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC. We've seen how Styx can get all Assassin's Creed-like in the past so it is time that we see how he uses his own personal "co-op" to get around the castles and dungeons. This time we get to see the clone attack/ability for Styx: Master Of Shadows. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/1/14 â 9/5/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of September 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another week of exciting video games news has come and passed and we are all a bit wiser and stronger for it all. Okay, maybe I wouldn't go that far as to say that but at least there was a whole lot to have covered this week in gaming. Hey, this week we even were able to cover something out of the film industry as it happened to be 100% involved in gaming here. That would be the release of the Heavenly Sword CGI film which we also were able to review. Read More...

Time To Get Our Assassin On With Styx: Master Of Shadows
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of September 2014 - 01:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Styx: Master Of Shadows shows off the assassin gameplay as well as hints to a release date Up until now Styx: Master Of Shadows has been shown off as a stealth and Thief-like title but now it looks like there is a bit of Assassin's Creed brought into the mix with the latest gameplay trailer. This is a little bit of a shock to me as up until now it has been shown that Styx cannot handle multiple enemies and needs to stick to tricks and sneak attacks. I'll take it none the less as this looks to add yet another manner of gameplay to Styx: Master Of Shadows for all those out there who don't have the patience to take things slow and stealthy. Styx: Master Of Shadows Will Make You Believe In Goblinsâ¦
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of July 2014 - 03:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Styx: Master Of Shadows has been released to show off the main goblin doing what he does best Last month we were able to re-watch the E3 gameplay for Styx: Master Of Shadows and it looks to be the perfect Thief-like game to me. Now we have a nice little extra look at a bit of gameplay and a bit more on the story that will be taking place during the game. It isn't all that much more but it is something for what I am seeing as a sleeper hit coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this upcoming September. I just kind of wish we had a more direct release date for the game but we have the month at least. Read More...

This Week In Gaming 6/23/14 â 6/27/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of June 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming This has been some week in terms of gaming news. It was a bit expected but not to the lull that it has been in the wake of E3. That of course didn't stop us from gathering up what we could find to update all of you with. Everything from the large titles like Batman: Arkham Knight to the smaller like Slow Down Bull. We got you covered pretty damn well here. It would defeat the purpose of giving you a recap of everything if I went over everything right now so I'll let you pick and choose what you want to see. Styx: Master Of Shadows Looks To Be The Thief Game We Wanted
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of June 2014 - 01:00 PM ]
With the E3 demo for Styx: Master Of Shadows being released we can see how it can be a better Thief game than Thief turned out to be Here we go with Styx: Master Of Shadows, yet another little gem I missed out on at E3 due to time constraints. Luckily, like many other titles, the demos and gameplay didn't stay at the convention for long and now we get a nice 14 minute look at the gameplay for Styx: Master Of Shadows. This title has only recently made it onto my Gamedar and that makes me a little sad. Just by watching this gameplay demo alone would have been enough before to get my interest going but I am only one being and my attentions are already drawn all over. Read More...
